The left just keeps giving us reasons to vote for Trump

Donald Trump is closing in on Hillary Clinton in the nationwide Presidential race. It is true that a lot of people tell you not to support Donald Trump, but the left keeps giving us reason after reason to vote for him and it is becoming quite amusing. Let’s have a look.

Treatment of women by Trump

The NY Times took a shot at Trump on this and missed big time. One of the authors is recognized as biased against Trump.

The story did wind up shining a positive light on Trump:

Ms. Sunshine worked for Mr. Trump for 15 years, becoming a major New York real estate figure in her own right. Ms. Res remained at the company for 12 years, left after a disagreement over a project and then returned as a consultant for six more years. Both expressed gratitude for the chances Mr. Trump had taken on them.

The authors had part of their story blow up in their faces. Alleged victim Rowanne Brewer said of Trump:

“I did not have a negative experience with Donald Trump”

Temple Taggart claims that Trump once kissed her on the lips. Trump denies it, but even if he had, one would hope that Gloria Steinem would say that Trump was entitled to a “freebie” as she said of Clinton’s groping Kathleen Willey.

Any attempt at shaming Trump for his alleged actions toward women will automatically trigger comparisons to Bill Clinton’s abuse of women- and Hillary’s defense of her husband’s actions. Nothing Trump has done compares to the allegation that Bill Clinton raped Juanita Broaddrick.

Now we learn that Bill Clinton was more of a frequent flier on the Jeffrey Epstein’s Lolita Express – 26 times– than was previously known. That has yet to be explained.

We have yet to hear Trump or his staff refer to any women as “trailer park trash” as did the Clinton spokespersons. We have not heard these woman described as “bimbo eruptions.”

“Trump has all the answers”

Former Secretary of Defense Bob Gates recently said that Trump thinks he has all the answers:

“He seems to think that he has all the answers and that he doesn’t need any advice from staff or anybody else,” Gates said on “Face the Nation” on CBS. “And that he knows more about these things than anybody else and doesn’t really feel the need to surround himself with informed advisers.”

How is that different from obama? It’s not.

Former Defense Secretaries Robert Gates and Leon Panetta have joined in accusing President Obama and the White House National Security Council staff (NSC) of micromanaging the military to the point of attempting to set up direct lines of communication to combatant commanders.

“It was micromanagement that drove me crazy,” Gates said at the Reagan National Defense Forum at President Ronald Reagan’s library in California over the weekend.

Gates said he had to deal with members of the NSC staff who directly called four-star generals on matters of strategy and tactics. The White House also attempted to make direct contact with Joint Special Operations Command (JSOC), Gates said.

“I told JSOC if they got a call from the White House you tell them to go to hell and call me,” Gates said to a round of applause from the audience.

Gates said the Obama White House too often let politics influence the policy when it came to the Defense Department.

“Trump will act like a dictator” We already have a dictator.

1,063 Documented Examples of Barack Obama’s Lying, Lawbreaking, Corruption, Cronyism, Hypocrisy, Waste, Etc.

Trump changes his mind

Trump’s positions change? Remember Hillary being “adamantly” against illegal immigrants?

We’ve got to do several things and I am, you know, adamantly against illegal immigrants. I made this exception basically on humanitarian grounds because of the individual story but certainly we’ve got to do more at our borders. And people have to stop employing illegal immigrants. Come up to Westchester, go to Suffolk and Nassau counties, stand in the street corners in Brooklyn or the Bronx – you’re going to see loads of people waiting to get picked up to go do yard work and construction work and domestic work.”

Want more Hillary flip flops? Here and here.

In 2008 Obama promised, well, pretty much the opposite of everything he says today, but you’ll find a lot of his reversals here here, here and here.

Now we come to my favorite- false promises

Juan Williams: Trump, false promises and the economy

False promises? Did he say false promises?

“If you like your health insurance plan, you can keep it”
“If you like your doctor, you can keep your doctor”
Obamacare will save you “about $2,500 per year.”
“The NSA is not abusing its power”
” If you make less than $250,000 per year you won’t pay one penny more in taxes.”

ISIS is the “JV”

Obama mocked Trump for not “keeping it real.”  Obama has been about as far from “keeping it real” as one can get.

And wait….what? Hillary would put Bill in charge of the economy? Seriously? After nearly destroying the United States economy with his disastrous policies that allowed big banks to deceive investors and pressuring smaller banks to make as many bad loans as they could she’s going to put him in charge again???? Did she just admit that she can’t handle the job?

Sorry, lefties, no matter what you try to throw at Trump- treatment of women, lying, flip-flopping, false promises- you’ve already supported it. None of any of that behavior disabused you of your sycophantic support of obama and Clinton. None of it should have any effect on Trump either. Nothing that Trump has done comes close to abuse heaped on women by the Clinton’s. Nothing sticks to Trump because democrats have done it all. They’ve endorsed it all.

Bill Clinton has pocketed $3 million in bribes “speaking fees” since Hillary formally announced her candidacy. More correctly, THEY as a couple have pocketed $3 million since she announced her candidacy. THEY made $48 million in speaking fees when she was Secretary of State. They file Federal income taxes jointly. It’s her money as much as it is his money. This is something that no one ever mentions. Were she President they would continue to send Bill out to collect cash in return for US “favors” as they have done for the last 16 years.

So here’s the bottom line. Trump is the candidate, like it or not. Trump may be a wild card, but he doesn’t need any more money. The Clinton’s are execrable people who will do absolutely anything for a dollar. We may not necessarily know what Trump would be but we definitely know what she would be. More than anything, I don’t want that.

@Bill:

Please, do not use your judgement to tell anyone else what they should regard as a viable candidate.

Between the recent May Day festivities and his messiah’s recent decrees supporting the LGBT agenda that he probably relates to, he is obviously pretty fired up at the “progress” being made to shove the radical left’s views down the rest of our throats.

Obama and the minions on overdrive and guess who wants to continue his policies.
Hillary Clinton has a lot of donors in the Justice Department, with some in high places the dept recently got a dressing down for being way to much like the Democratic candidate. Finding that Justice Department lawyers repeatedly misled the court about when the government would begin implementing new immigration directives, U.S. District Judge Andrew Hanen ordered any Washington-based Justice Department lawyer who wants to appear in any state or federal court in the 26 states that sued the administration to attend an annual legal ethics course.
And working hard to get into a low crime gated community with great schools paid for with high property taxes?? Nope can’t do that there will be no escape, “Affirmatively Furthering Fair Housing” rule, which was issued by the Department of Housing and Urban Development last year. According to department officials, this rule is needed because “increasing a neighborhood’s appeal to families with different income and ethnic profiles can encourage a more diversified population and reduce isolation.”
this new regulation is designed to give unelected, anonymous A**HOLE bureaucrats in Washington the power to pick and choose who your new next-door neighbor will be. If they don’t believe your neighborhood is “diverse” enough, they will seize control of local zoning decisions—choosing what should be built, where, and who should pay for it—in order to make your neighborhood look more like THEY want it to.
Imagine the beauty of that a low income apartment complex next to the pool your association fees pay for.
The best part they get to expand the government to accomplish this.

@Nathan Blue:

The position that a fertilized egg or a developing fetus should be legally considered a person is a religiously-informed view. The pro-life movement is for the most part an expression of that religiously-informed view. You won’t find many non-religious anti-abortion activists. The most radical are Christian fundamentalists.

That’s somewhat bigoted to say, and very ignorant.

Actually, it’s an entirely accurate statement of fact.

Instead, I’d merely say you’re a religious zealot yourself. As a fundamental Atheist, I’m not sure how you can pretend to be rational over that of a fundamental Christian.

The following seven Christian denominations have openly supported a woman’s right to choose:

United Church of Christ
Unitarian Universalist Association
Metropolitan Community Church
Presbyterian Church USA
Evangelical Lutheran Church
Christ Church (Assembly of God)
United Methodist Church

Reform, Reconstructionist, and Conservative Jewish organizations and synagogues openly advocate for women’s right to safe and accessible abortions. They support choice as an official position. Orthodox Jews are divided on the issue and generally take no official position.

A person isn’t an atheist just because he or she isn’t a fundamentalist Christian. I don’t know who set them up as the final temporal authority on all religious and spiritual matters, but I’m pretty sure it wasn’t God. Such authority certainly isn’t in the U.S. Constitution.

That being the case, they should cease attempting to ram their personal religious views down other people’s throats. They should be content with the constitutionally-guaranteed freedom to hold them and to live in accordance with them themselves. As with everyone else, that’s all they get. If somebody were to get more, the result would be that others would be deprived of their religious freedoms.

@Greg:

That being the case, they should cease attempting to ram their personal religious views down other people’s throats.

Sure but you liberals go first. start with Obamacrap and, obamacare.

Perhaps the idiots you elected to Congress, who have now pointlessly voted over 50 times to repeal Obamacare, should instead turn their tiny little attention spans to genuinely useful legislative work. For example, they might consider how any problems they see with Obamacare could be addressed by making changes to the law.

If that’s too much for them, maybe they could consider discussing Obama’s request for authorization to use military force against ISIS, which has been sitting in some bottom desk drawer in the House for well over a year now. They could do that instead of whining about how unconstitutional it is for him to have acted without their permission.

Maybe they could consider a jobs bill, addressing a problem that they claimed was their very highest priority during the run-up to the 2014 elections.

They might address immigration issues themselves, in some way other than simply running their mouths. They are, after all, paid salaries of $174,000 to do something more useful than warming their chairs.

Here’s what they’ve done most recently. They’ve shielded defense contractors from an Executive Order that requires them to divulge labor violations involving fair pay practices and workplace safety issues, and given cover to religious organizations that want to discriminate against individuals based on sexual orientation or gender identity issues.

Obama’s Job approval is 3 times higher than the GOP Congress
Dr J you live in MA doesn’t really matter who you vote for, does it ? Your state’s electoral votes are going to a Dem candidate. If you want your vote to matter move to a battleground state

@kitt, #56:

Evicted at the end of his 8-year, 2-term stay, with a job approval percentage that exceeds the percentage who disapprove?

We should be thankful to have an Executive Branch has kept the country in good order, despite a totally dysfunctional Legislative majority that has done everything in its power to do prevent it. These jackasses openly declared their primary objective was to assure the Executive Branch’s failure.

They’ve pronounced everything the Obama administration has accomplished a failure, when the main failure has been their own practice of governance. And now they’re ready to get behind a a nominee who hasn’t got a clue how to conduct himself in the office he’s running for. This isn’t just party before country. It’s worse than that. It’s party before sanity.

It’s not like we don’t have any better alternatives.

A Vermin Supreme quote to remember: “I think we’re all waiting for the reveal. Waiting…for…the reveal.

In the parlance of stage magicians, “the reveal” refers to the culmination of a magic trick. It’s the part where the magician or his assistant throws open the cabinet door and the audience is greeted by something that’s entirely unexpected.

@Greg: Approval who the hell are they polling?? The military who has to go to an airplane junkyard for parts to keep their planes flying? The parents who now cannot be assured their daughters dont have to shower with a boy??The coal miners?
How bout all the rural people that no longer have access to health care, the ranchers that his BLM are driving off the land to steal their ranches.
I am sure its the muslims and the lgbt crowd he is very popular with. The illegals that get benefits must love him.
I cant wait to see the screen door hit his ass on the way out.

Those are the sort of b.s. propaganda memes that have paved the way for Donald Trump, the most vacuous snake oil salesman to appear on the American political landscape in generations. He’s a man wearing a hat that reads “Make America Great Again,” and that’s about as much as any person convinced that America is a total disaster area needs to know. He throws his little tantrums, bullies and insults and puffs himself up, all while saying nothing substantive that he doesn’t do a complete about-face on the moment it’s convenient, and people line up behind him like he’s the Pied Piper, not having the least clue where he might be be leading them. I wouldn’t believe it if I weren’t seeing it. (A sentiment I’m certain must have been expressed very frequently elsewhere, during the 1930s.)

@Greg:

the most vacuous snake oil salesman

Doesn’t it remain to be seen if he’s a better SO salesman that Barack Obama was ? BHO actually sold some snake oil, as of now Trump is still trying to sell.

as any person convinced that America is a total disaster area needs to know.

Anyone with two functioning brain cells knows that the country and BHO is a complete disaster. While I realize that excludes most Dimocrats, at least some will recognize it.

A sentiment I’m certain must have been expressed very frequently elsewhere, during the 1930s.)

especially in 2008 and 2012.

I think America is still a great nation, despite what republicans and their new best-friend-forever Donald Trump would have us all believe. I think their mindless, relentless negativity is a big part of the problem. That’s how they inflicted Trump on the GOP to begin with. They spent 7 years building up and reinforcing irrational negative perceptions as their own political racehorse, and then Donald ran in and stole it.

Elect this guy, and you’ll have nobody but yourselves to blame for the consequences.

Nice to see Greg see the light that it was Obamas tremendous failures and lies that paved the way for DT, his pathetic handling of the military, economy and civil rights, the state of race relations with the first negro President have become dangerous, Guns sales never been better! Black employment never worse, Poverty higher, foreign relations all time low, and the threat of nuclear annihilation from the Iran or N. Korea. Syria, Egypt and Libya so much better off than when he assumed power.

Yeah, what ever happened to Obama’s mass gun confiscations? Any day now, I suppose. Of course that particular marketing campaign has resulted in every idiot in the country owning a firearm. How much money do you suppose the firearm industry profited as a result?

Black unemployment never worse? Do you ever question anything right wing media tells you? Because that particular meme is a line of b.s.

In general, in 2007-2008 the nation experienced a near economic catastrophe. The economy has improved enormously on Obama’s watch—no thanks to the GOP, which will acknowledge that things have improved sometime after hell freezes over.

By the way, there is no threat of “nuclear annihilation” from Iran or North Korea. Neither of their pissant governments have the power to do that, nor will they ever. At worst, they may acquire the capacity to provoke us sufficiently that we totally annihilate them as a response or a preventive measure, which we have more than sufficient power to do in a completely literal fashion, with plenty to spare.

Did you know that Obama’s 2016 budget proposal included $8.8 billion for the modernization of the U.S. nuclear arsenal? I don’t suppose that’s been a big right wing talking point.

@Greg: Greggie, if Obola and the demoncrats in congress where doing such a great job then tell me how in the world did Republicans take back the House in historic numbers in 2010 and the Senate in 2014??

@Common Sense, #66:

By pandering to single-issue social issue voting blocks at the state level, and by promoting anti-Obama sentiment. We’ll see how well they manage to hang on to their seats in November, seeing as how they haven’t kept many of the promises they ran on. (Many? Did they keep any?)

@Greg: How could promotion of anti-Obola sentiment work if he was doing such a good job?? What was the single social-issue?? They kept a promise to me and that is try and stop Obola’s destruction of America, did they succeed not completely as you can see for yourself. I can help though, in 2010 Republicans won in historic numbers because they told the truth about obolacare and as you know Obola lied to America to get elected. Other issues can include a complete failure in the Middle East. Remember Greggie Obola told America the Iraq was stable, ISIS was a JV Team, ISIS was contained, Al Qaeda was on their heels, and Benghazi was caused by a video. Now he wants to import terrorists who he can’t even identify as radical islamic terrorists for fear it will offend HIS voting block!! Like I said if he was doing so well then how in the world could the legislature now be controlled by Republicans. They will maintain majorities in the House and the Senate Greggie!!

How is pulling a crashing national economy back from the brink depression, keeping state and municipal governments afloat, keeping out-of-work families from losing everything, and saving one of America’s big 3 auto makers and the thousands of jobs that would have gone down with it “destroying America?”

How is a declining unemployment rate that has stabilized at around 5 percent consistent with the idea that he’s “destroying America?”

Have you checked the rate of inflation lately? Or anytime during his tenure? The dollar has remained strong and stable.

How is keeping us out of yet another potentially disastrous ground war in the Middle East while slowly but surely wearing down ISIS a failure? I’m happy that we’ve avoided Iraq, Episode 3.

How many terrorist leaders, including Osama bin Laden, are now permanently out of the picture? I’ve totally lost count.

Normalization of our relations with Cuba? It’s about damn time. Cuba will change as a result, not the U.S.

The Affordable Care Act? It was a step in the right direction. We’re not there yet, but we’re not going back the other way.

I get so tired of the right’s bullshit claims. They seem to feel no need whatsoever to back them up with evidence. Instead, there’s just endless repetition. The right is taking the same approach with Hillary Clinton. Allegations and slander, endlessly repeated, until the claims are no longer questioned—and in this case the objective is to put a dangerous person in the White House, God only knows for what reason.

In truth, I see no reasoning there at all. Maybe they think this guy will be their useful tool? Don’t count on it. So far he’s run circles around them. But that doesn’t mean he will be an instrument of the will of the people. That just might be the craziest assumption of all.

I think it is so amusing that the rock still thinks that saving GM from bankruptcy and giving away Chrysler saved jobs. The whole purpose of bankruptcy is to reconfigure the company and restructure debt. The big Obama “save” was just another “spread the money around” effort. The unions got the money and the tax payers were fleeced as well as the 1st lien holders. GM and Chrysler have fewer US jobs than before the bankruptcy. But, the rhetoric sounds good!

@Greg:

Did you know that Obama’s 2016 budget proposal included $8.8 billion for the modernization of the U.S. nuclear arsenal? I don’t suppose that’s been a big right wing talking point.

Very interesting point, nuclear proliferation
from the nobel peace prize weiner, all that previous presidents did or tried to do to eliminate these weapons from the planet and this nut allows 2 of the craziest countries on the planet play with ICBMs and provides the finances for it.
Thats Obamas legacy
what an asshole.

@Greg:

Perhaps the idiots you elected to Congress, who have now pointlessly voted over 50 times to repeal Obamacare, should instead turn their tiny little attention spans to genuinely useful legislative work.

50 times to repeal the worst piece of legislation ever proposed by mankind. It strangled the economy, kicked 7 million people off the insurance they preferred, turned millions of full time jobs into part time jobs, drove up the cost of health care and insurance and costs trillions of dollars. If anything ever needed to be repealed, it is this barrel of shit.

Yeah, what ever happened to Obama’s mass gun confiscations?

Not having the guts to try to repeal the 2nd Amendment Constitutionally, they have tried every trick in their evil minds to cut law abiding citizens off from their right to self defense; buying up ammunition to make it unavailable or too expensive for purchase, jacking up permit costs, banning weapons, attacking legal manufacturers, and banning magazines… not to mention the bold-face lies Obama and the rest of the left spew about gun ownership and crime. Of course, as we saw today, Mr. Obama is always thankful HE gets armed guards for his enjoyment.

How is pulling a crashing national economy back from the brink depression, keeping state and municipal governments afloat, keeping out-of-work families from losing everything, and saving one of America’s big 3 auto makers and the thousands of jobs that would have gone down with it “destroying America?”

The economy is on the brink of another catastrophic recession, it has NO growth, it is kept alive only by printing money and loaning it out at 0.0% interest, the labor participation rate is as low as it has ever been, his “stimulus” and “shovel-ready jobs” was a trillion dollar lie and the cost of pandering to the UAW via the GM bailout was $10 billion. It would be interesting if Hillary (the corrupt, lying criminal) DID win, for it would be hilarious to see who SHE blames for the next recession.

How is keeping us out of yet another potentially disastrous ground war in the Middle East while slowly but surely wearing down ISIS a failure? I’m happy that we’ve avoided Iraq, Episode 3.

Obama CREATED ISIS as we now know it. Obama enabled them to become strong enough to terrorize world-wide and bring down passenger jets. Obama created ISIS in Iraq, Syria and, with the help of his profits-seeking Hillary, Libya. Obama, Hillary and Kerry have been monumental foreign policy disasters. It will take generations to undo the damage they have done.

The Affordable Care Act? It was a step in the right direction. We’re not there yet, but we’re not going back the other way.

The Abysmal Care Act was so terribly bad that Obama feared to fully enact it before he was reelected. He illegally and unilaterally changed or delayed it, at his personal political whims, to keep the painful impact of his folly from hurting his electoral prospects. In fact, it is not to be fully implemented until 2017… after he is gratefully gone.

@john:

Obama’s Job approval is 3 times higher than the GOP Congress

It’s not a “GOP Congress”… it is a GOP/Democrat Congress and your idiot Democrats and the idiot Democrat in the White House is the cause for the poor approvals. In fact, with the corrupt, liberal media trying to bury Obama’s failures (the economy, race relations, national security, foreign policy… well, everything) and propagandizing his every movement, it is amazing he doesn’t have a 100% approval rating. Apparently, half the nation does not consume the idiot-targeted propaganda you seem to prefer.

Trump, even if he is half as successful as he promises, will be a vast improvement over Obama, who has been the greatest political disaster America has known. Every person that voted for Obama needs to beg the forgiveness of those with common sense.

@Bill: I second and 3rd that!

You’re all going to get line behind Donald, and tell each other how stupid and lemming-like anyone is who doesn’t join you in the march. Because Obama, or because Hillary.

There’s a Forrest Gump quote that would apply here, but anyone who would get it already knows it, so I won’t bother.

@Bill, #72:

Ah, yes, the printing presses flooding the economy with worthless paper currently. That would certainly explain the run-away inflation rate that we’re presently seeing.

Is it possible that your much-deplored fallen labor participation rate might somehow relate to the fact that corporations have boosted profits by exporting over 3 million U.S. manufacturing jobs? Surely not.

Possibly retiring Baby Boomers might be a factor. Nobody saw that one coming.

Obama CREATED ISIS as we now know it.

You know a lot of b.s. The overthrow of the Saddam Hussein regime and the disbanding of the entire Iraqi military establishment is what created ISIS. All of those displaced military professionals became the Iraqi insurgency, and then became ISIS. You can blame your boys Bush & Cheney for that monumental screw-up, and for the trillions it will ultimately cost to have made things far worse than they were before.

@Greg: @Greg: I’m not sure if you’re intentionally side-stepping the argument, because you’ve already lost it, or if you’re simply daft.

Either way, I assume the cause you serve is to keep the waters muddy…all in the name of clearing.

Sounds like a religious nut to me.

You support the Constitution now…because the current law supports your religious views of abortion. But what if it didn’t? What if Row v Wade was overturned? Not sure you’d say the same things.

BTW, Unitarians aren’t a Christian sect. That you don’t understand that means I’m potentially wasting my time trying to argue scholarly theology with a novitiate, at best, and the uneducated, at worst.

And no…anti-abortion is not based in Christian fundamentalism, just because you repeat the false meme. When does someone become a “person”? Depends on your belief. You’re view of the law is drawn from your beliefs, nothing more.

@Greg: Virtually everything you write is conjecture, and very tired conjecture at that. You’re a biased, non-objective, non-rational liberal.

We got it.

@Greg:

You’re all going to get line behind Donald, and tell each other how stupid and lemming-like anyone is who doesn’t join you in the march. Because Obama, or because Hillary.

Obama has been an absolute disaster. Where we should have an exploding recovery from a deep recession, we have zero growth, high unemployment and the looming threat of another recession. Unless Hillary is going to reverse that, she is more of the same, plus her lying dishonesty, placing her own personal considerations high above national security and the corrupt peddling of US influence. Yeah, give me someone that has actually accomplished things in the real world over THAT.

Ah, yes, the printing presses flooding the economy with worthless paper currently. That would certainly explain the run-away inflation rate that we’re presently seeing.

Inflation is the tell that the economy is heating up and will trigger raised interest rates. Yeah, no inflation because the economy has not begun to get warm yet. Less than 1% growth.

Is it possible that your much-deplored fallen labor participation rate might somehow relate to the fact that corporations have boosted profits by exporting over 3 million U.S. manufacturing jobs? Surely not.

You can place the blame for that on Obama’s union allies that have artificially jacked wages too high and Obama’s onerous tax policies. How about Obama’s campaign buddy, Jeffery Immelt, moving GE jobs to China or the much-touted successfully bailed out GM moving Cadillac and Buick production to China? Obama has created a business-hostile environment and businesses need to stay in business. Wait and see if Trump will lure them back. Hillary certainly won’t with her 45% capital gains tax. Even Bubba realized lowering the tax on success is good for the economy. Hillary and Bernie trying to out-socialism each other is exactly why the economy is in the crapper.

You know a lot of b.s. The overthrow of the Saddam Hussein regime and the disbanding of the entire Iraqi military establishment is what created ISIS.

Since Obama pulled US security troops out of Iraq, ISIS has grown 140%. While Bush was in office and we had security troops there, ISIS was an unknown small gang of Islamic villains. Obama allowed them to grow and murder. Obama unleashed them. Obama made them what they are today, and he has lied about it every step of the way… just as he has done with creating a new, more terrifying threat, a nuclear Iran.

And Hillary will only do what makes her more wealthy.

@Bill: Sadly Greggie is a total moronic libturd with no original thought process, he’s just a robot with liberal talking points. Reality and Greggie seldom come together on the same planet!!

Take a moment to consider the egotism, the emotional volatility, and the frequently displayed impulsiveness of the man you’re most likely going to vote to place in the White House, with his pudgy little finger on the nuclear launch button. Explain to me how that makes sense.

The world isn’t a reality TV show. The world is an extremely complicated, very dangerous place. The leaders of super-power nations don’t get do-overs when they impulsively screw up. We’ve already got Vladimir Putin’s egotism, instability, and unpredictability to worry about. Two loose cannons would be one too many. The likelihood of very bad things happening would be greatly increased. And they wouldn’t just be happening on television.

You really don’t see this?

@Greg: Greggie, just when I though you couldn’t be more stupid you send a message like this one. I want a President who will stand up to our enemies rather than fail to even acknowledge who they are or apologize to the world for our greatness. I want a President that recognizes America first and doesn’t look down his or her nose at us and believe government is the solution for all our challenges. I want a President who will protect our borders and not allow illegals to come across freely and then give them welfare, education, health care, a drivers license, scholarships and instate tuition. Donald Trump has lived in the real world versus the underhanded fantasy world of Slick and Hilldabeast!! I am much more confident in this man than a witch who lied over the dead bodies of our Benghazi heroes whom she was in charge to protect!! Greggie, bad things have already happened under Obola in our country conducted by radical islamic terrorists and Obola can’t even say the word. I don’t expect a complete idiot like you to vote for anyone but hilldabeast but you will be in the minority because America is sick and tired of being put down by Obola and Hilldabeast!!

@Greg:

Take a moment to consider the egotism, the emotional volatility, and the frequently displayed impulsiveness of the man you’re most likely going to vote to place in the White House, with his pudgy little finger on the nuclear launch button. Explain to me how that makes sense.

You voted for Obama. How about THAT ego? Remember him have the seal for the President-Elect of the United States? Remember him telling Republicans they lost and he won, so sit down, shut up and do as he says? His ego got us ISIS, as he decided HE was a great warlord and didn’t need the advice of military experts.

There are egos that drive success and egos that feed egos. Obama has the latter; his ego has gotten the nation in a lot of trouble.

Uh huh.

So, have you taken a moment to consider the egotism, the emotional volatility, and the frequently displayed impulsiveness of the man you’re most likely going to vote to place in the White House, or have you been too busy blowing off steam to think about it? Maybe what you’ve done will come to you at some point during the coronation ceremonies.

You know, the title of this thread says a lot. Nobody seems to have noticed. What it says to me is that people aren’t giving much thought to what they’re voting for. They’re ignoring the fact that they actually don’t have a clue. All that matters is winning. They’ll find out what they’ve voted for later.

@Greg: Greggie, have you even stopped to consider how absolutely ridiculous and disgusting your comments really are?? We have seen what you have described for the past 7+ years minus the guts and intelligence to do a dam thing about it!! The steam has been created by an inept president who has sold America and Americans down the road. Obola has allowed illegals priority over our own citizens, terrorists to invade our country, failure to even acknowledge radical islam as the cause, telling Americans they didn’t create their own opportunities, apologizing to the world for our success, telling America that Iraq is stable and then as you do blame Bush for the instability, lying about Benghazi, ISIS being a JV team, ISIS contained, and you would rather put Slick and Hilldabeast back in the Whitehouse they pillaged and embarrassed when they departed?? Yep plenty of steam due to the failures of this administration!! As far as who to vote for, you are really disgusting if you believe hilldabeast would be a better choice. You are totally pathetic and need to move to a country you think would be better than America because we DID build it and you I defended it and it makes me sick to look at Obola and Hilldabeast apologize for our success!! All that matters to America IS winning because Americans are fed up with losing and apologizing!! You need to give some thought to who you are voting for first Greggie!!

@Greg:

So, have you taken a moment to consider the egotism, the emotional volatility, and the frequently displayed impulsiveness of the man you’re most likely going to vote to place in the White House, or have you been too busy blowing off steam to think about it?

Trump has built a financial empire. I have no qualms about his ego or volatility… apparently he has it under control. He has ACCOMPLISHED something on his own. You voted for Obama who had done NOTHING… nothing but run for office. A community organizer… a paid rabble-rouser. NOTHING. And, the wealth of capabilities he possessed came through, didn’t they? He had done nothing but damage. The undisputed worst President in history.

Seriously, Greg… anyone that would vote for Obama twice… once after it was already know what a lying failure he was… is incapable of analyzing any candidate. Certainly anyone that will close a blind eye to Hillary’s corruption, lies and incompetence and support her has ceded their right to offer advice. Really, Greg… really.

We need someone that can clean up Obama’s ISIS and economic mess and that AIN’T Hillary (most certainly not Bernie). It might not be Trump, but there is no “maybe” with Hillary and Bernie.

@Common Sense: Do you trust “win win win” Trump?—he reminds me of the crass, classless, braggarts I grew up with in N’Y. I disstained them and I disstain Trump.
Which bad foot kept him out of service–called our POW’S losers–forgot he likes winners— F.U. Trump—he’ll never get a majority of the American electorate to buy his bullshit.
Semper Fi Doc

@Richard Wheeler:

he reminds me of the crass, classless, braggarts I grew up with in N’Y.

So, the old apple didn’t fall too far from the tree. You are just ‘one of the boys’. I guess you can’t help being envious of his success.
I see all the stories today are about how Hillary is sinking like she has an anchor tied to her ass. Don’t underestimate the American people, they recognize crap when they see it, sometimes.

@Redteam: His success?—numerous bankruptcies and failed marriages? First wife says he raped her. How many of your wives have accused you of that RT.
He’s a phony—Conservatives like Kitt and O5 know he’s phony.
Trumpeteer/lemmings don’t get it.

@Greg: The thing is the congress didn’t have the nads to impeach the lawless first black President.
Trump will not get such leeway If he tries any of the trampling of the constitution the current traitor has done they will impeach him in a heartbeat.
To put a Clinton that fully admits this is a BOGO back into the whitehouse is unacceptable. Billy boy who let North Korea get nukes, thats his legacy along with Mogadishu, Hillary with Bengahzi, Obama with Iran going nuclear. They are assholes Greg. There is so much to clean up after them. I personally think Senator Cruz would have done a better job, but we have Trump there have been way too many articles trying to figure out why. I blame failure, Obamas utter and complete failure, and his saying this is the way it is going to be and get used to it. The American People are saying FU** THAT, we dont have to take stagnant wages, part time jobs lousy government chosen healthcare with high deductibles, supporting freeloading illegals, and allowing terrorists to infiltrate refugee numbers that also line up for unearned freebies, along with the threat of nuclear war. Yes the current prez has quite the legacy.

@Richard Wheeler #86 –

Of braggarts, there were some when in my training company as a recruit. They largely washed out in the first week. Then, one of my cousins was bragging how he was going to do this and that in the Army – he washed out in the second week. Those that manage to survive basic and school in their MOS field, they don’t stay long either. Trump strikes me as one of those who would wash out quickly – doesn’t know how to work as part of a team. Dan Rather, who enlisted in the Marines, washed out of basic too. I don’t if that explains why he became what he became, but he just couldn’t cut it.

Regarding his words about POWs, he, and many others, doesn’t know much about the experience. I’ll leave it that.

#89 –

And, DT said on Thursday he wants to negotiate with NK about their nukes. He thinks he can get a better deal. They’ll play him like the others – as a sap.

@Richard Wheeler: You already have a good idea of my opinion of Trump. Given your standards about how people who avoided service during VN are lowlifes, will go on the record, right now, saying that in the unlikely event that Hillary gets indicted for the crimes she committed with her email server, that you won’t back Joe Biden, who received five draft deferments?

@kitt, #89:

The thing is the congress didn’t have the nads to impeach the lawless first black President.

There’s been no basis for impeachment, as they well know. A majority of them are smart enough not to believe the bullshit they dish out to their constituents. If they impeached him, the falsity of their claims would be publicly established. They want to be able to continue making accusations.

Anyone who hasn’t figured out their modus operandi after 7 full-blown Benghazi investigations have come up empty is either dumb as a box of rocks or hasn’t been paying close enough attention.

@Greg:

Anyone who hasn’t figured out their modus operandi after 7 full-blown Benghazi investigations have come up empty is either dumb as a box of rocks or hasn’t been paying close enough attention.

They haven’t come up empty… not by a long shot. We know Hillary and Obama were warned about terror threats and ignored them and the requests for additional security. We know they watched the attack and then went to bed… did nothing to even TRY to save those guys. We know they had discussions about how to spin the disaster and came up with the lie (which they all knew was a lie) about the video.

We now know Hillary was relying on Blumenthal, who saw visions of getting in on the ground floor of a ripe business opportunity, to guide her on her Libyan policy (if it can even be deemed such). We know they gave no thought of security post-Qaddafi and, as a result, we had Benghazi and now, ISIS.

We know a lot. What we don’t know is the “why” which, obviously, was simply to cover their political asses. Unless you know different.

What we also know is how corrupt, incompetent and dishonest Hillary is. Not that there aren’t numerous OTHER examples, this one absolutely disqualifies Hillary from any public office, much less the Presidency of the United States.

@Richard Wheeler: I trust win win Trump far more than a lying traitor like hilldabeast with Benghazi blood on her hands!!

They haven’t come up empty… not by a long shot.

They’ve come up totally empty. After repeated investigations, not a single instance of wrongdoing has been established on the part of President Obama or Hillary Clinton. Not even one. Read the official reports.

Further, all investigations have concluded that there’s no evidence supporting any of the slanderous rumors and bullshit accusations that have been bouncing around the right wing echo chamber since day one. Basically, right wing media has deliberately filled their audience’s heads with lies and nonsense. Again, read the official reports of the investigative committees.

If republicans are going to repeatedly ignore the conclusions of their own interminable, in-depth Congressional investigations because they don’t support their anti-Obama/anti-Clinton propaganda campaigns, maybe they should stop wasting the taxpayers’ money on them and take up some useful business instead. They might, for example, conduct a floor debate concerning specifically what alternative approach should be taken in connection with ISIS, since they obviously believe the Obama Administration has been handling this in such an incompetent fashion. Well more than a year has gone by now since Obama requested Congressional authorization to use military force against ISIS.

If that’s too much for them, they could take up some other useful business. There’s plenty to choose from. They’ve had control of both houses of Congress for almost a year and a half now, and still haven’t accomplished a damn thing.

@Greg:

They’ve come up totally empty.

No, as I showed, they proved quite a lot. They proved Obama was a total mistake and Hillary should be kept as far away from the White House as is possible.

Well more than a year has gone by now since Obama requested Congressional authorization to use military force against ISIS.

First, it appears he has all the authorization he needs; what was the authorization he had to hand Libya over to ISIS? Next, had Obama now placed restrictions on how a dedicated adult might prosecute a war on ISIS in the future, he would have gotten his authorization. Lastly, had Obama listened to his military advisers, there would be no need for military force against ISIS. Had they attempted any uprising while they were but a few thousand and we had 30,000 troops already deployed, they would be long gone. But Obama, in his ultimate wisdom (and gigantic ego) decided to ignore all advice and recommendation and do what all his military experience told him to do.

The results was disaster. Based on Hillary’s judgement on Libya and Benghazi, she would be just as disastrous. No, thanks.

maybe they should stop wasting the taxpayers’ money on them and take up some useful business instead.

If Obama and Hillary would not stonewall and lie, the investigations could have been concluded long ago. Just because you have the ability to stall and prolong proceedings does not give you the right to escape responsibility for stupid actions. At the very least, we were shown that Hillary is disqualified from holding public office.

No, as I showed, they proved quite a lot. They proved Obama was a total mistake and Hillary should be kept as far away from the White House as is possible.

You showed nothing. They proved nothing. Just saying things doesn’t make them true. Even if you happen to be Donald Trump.

@Richard Wheeler:

His success?—numerous bankruptcies

Most people would consider turning 1 million into several billion as ‘success’. Bankruptcy? Trump never declared bankruptcy. Try to keep up Richie. At least pretend to understand the subject. How was the big shindig last night? You have several tofu burgers?

@Greg:

You showed nothing. They proved nothing. Just saying things doesn’t make them true.

Absolutely true. Just me saying it doesn’t prove it so. Hillary and Obama stonewalling and lying make it true.

Why did they ignore the intelligence of a terror threat to the consulate? Why did Hillary deny added security? Why did they decide to just make up a silly, stupid lie about a video causing the attack? These are all facts, the details of which have been revealed through the hearings. We can’t get these two liars to explain why they acted so stupidly.

By the same token, your dog-like loyalty to lying scoundrels does not make them honest and competent leaders. The evidence is quite to the contrary.

@Greg: Greggie, Obola said to America that ISIS was a JV team, ISIS was contained, Al Qaeda was on their heels, Iraq was stable, Benghazi was caused by a video, and if you like your health insurance and/or doctor you can keep them period!! All friggin lies Greggie!! Hilldabeast over the dead bodies of those who she was in charge of in Benghazi that their death was caused by a video and she new then it was radical islamic terrorism as she told her daughter hours larter!! Another friggin lie Greggie. Hilldabaest said Slicks getting a hummer in the Whitehouse was caused by a vast right conspiracy. So if your totally stupid enough to believe this crap you have less than zero credibility Greggie!!
