Obama is leaving IEDs for the next President, just as Clinton did to Bush

When Bill Clinton left office, he left a burgeoning recession on George W. Bush’s doorstep. That wasn’t the only thing he left Bush. He left Bush Osama Bin Laden. Clinton has openly boasted that he could have killed Bin Laden and chose not to try. In fact, Clinton had numerous opportunities to kill Bin Laden. But there’s more. Under Bush Bill Clinton buried an IED. The IED was a house of cards built upon lousy mortgages and trash securities sold as high value. And it was all legal, thanks to Bill Clinton.

Clinton pushed Fannie to 51% subprimes, made predatory lending legal and coerced bankers to make bad loans. Worst of all, bowing to Wall St. he opted not to regulate derivatives on the advice from his Wall St. pal Robert Rubin. That house of cards finally fell in 2007 when the economy slowed and people began to default on their mortgages. People still blame Bush, but it was Clinton buried the IED in 1998. Let us be certain that this is the cause of the financial crisis as even Barack Obama agrees:

“Food stamp recipients didn’t cause the financial crisis; recklessness on Wall Street did,”

Recklessness, all legal, courtesy of Bill Clinton.

Leaving disasters for upcoming Presidents seems to have become a democrat tradition and Barack Obama is the new standard bearer.

Obama badly misjudged ISIS, a mess which he is leaving for the next President. In 2014 Obama announced that he had a “three year” plan to defeat ISIS, which would put the conclusion well after his departure from office ( so don’t blame me!).

Vladimir Putin is toying with Obama as a kitten would toy with a mouse. Russia routinely engages in high risk maneuvers near US ships and aircraft and Obama has nothing to say save for “excuse me sir may I have another?” as he runs out the clock to 2017.

The economy is slowing down. Some are certain a recession is coming. As if he’d learned nothing from Clinton, Obama is pushing bad loans again. (If it appears that Trump might win the election you’ll see a boatload of articles about how bad the economy is and will be. If he is elected President, all left wing pundits will write about is how bad the economy is, even before he takes office.

Obamacare exchanges are failing. Insurers are talking about unsustainable losses. The risk corridors expire in 2017 (as in, after obama leaves office)

2017 will be the real test. The law contains two programs that will expire at the beginning of that year: “Risk corridors” and “re-insurance.” Both programs conceal health insurance’s true costs – costs that truly have skyrocketed under the ACA – by subsidizing insurance companies with taxpayer money. Risk corridors give insurance companies money if their customers spend more on health care than the insurer estimated; reinsurance allows insurance companies to bill the federal government for particularly expensive patients.

The employer mandate hits full speed in , you guessed it, 2017 (as in, after obama leaves office).

It’s obvious to all but liberals that the manure is being piled high and deep at the front door of the White House for the next occupant because the current one wants credit for everything but responsibility for nothing. The bombs that obama is burying now are going to going to go off after he’s gone and they are going to do real damage no matter who is the next President.

Dr J you seem to have forgotten that there was s GOP majority Congress During Clintons terms.
The Fannie Mae backed subprime S reached 55% under Bush
It was Bush I that signed the law saying Fannie should go at least 30%
Land mine!!! Obama inherited nuke level land mines from Bush
Bush is the most despised POTUS in living memory
Bush’s poll numbers were in the TEENS with the Diw falling 50% and unemployment at 9.5%
Obama trim moles the Dow and cut unemployment by half, and you are trying to prove that it was all the fault of something that happened last millennium
Do you think that Bush will be invited to Cleveland for the convention ? Maybe tell everybody those disasters were not his fault? Try and blame Clinton who polled 68% approval?

Try to blame a popular XXXPresident.
http://www.businessweek.com/the_thread/hotproperty/archives/2008/02/cli
Frank and Dodd both high ranking Republicans….oops, signed by Obama.
Tons of blame to spread around learning from past mistakes (like electing a Clinton) is what is important.
Dodd Frank was shoved into a transportation bill.
Rules to be followed by every lending institution, to be applied to every borrower, black, white ect.
The government has to stop “helping” greed if you change the rules will always rear its ugly head.

When Obama took office, he whined and moaned about how bad the economy was in order to set the stage for his own failure. He knew his $860 billion “stimulus” was going to flop (“not as shovel ready as we thought, giggle”) and he knew he had no idea how to allow the economy to grow and prosper.

The reason the economy remains stagnant? Racism. The reason the labor participation rate remains terrible? Racism. The reason Obamacare is sinking and taking much of the economy with it? Racism.

If weak excuses were worth a nickel apiece, we could pay off the debt when liberals are in charge.

By the way, @John: , unemployment when Obama was sworn in was 7.6% and he promised it would never reach 8%. It hit 10.2% and even now, if so many had not simply given up ever seeing a job again, it is around 12%.

I have obama toilet paper in every bathroom for my quests. Bill unemployment is over 20% if you look at real numbers. Deficit was increased by 2.1 % from the same time last year.

Need I remind you that during that time that Bush was POTUS and asking for reform why didn’t the GOP majority Congress try to do something ? The GOP had control of Congress for well over a decade and some href=”http://www.floppingaces.net/2016/04/18/obama-is-leaving-ieds-for-the-next-president-just-as-clinton-did-to-bush/#comment-498011″>DrJohn: how the problem arose from the MINORITY PARTY ?
Need I remind you that Bush had a full 8 years with his party in control of BOTH Houses of Congress and that the housing bubble burst on HIS and Their watch. Yet you seem to seek to place the onus on the minority party in Congress? For……… not stopping the GOP?
Now however with Obama as POTUS Freddie and Fannie are sending BILLIONS back to the treasury a total now of about 80 billion in profit for Freddie and Sallie under Obama all the while helping more Americans become home owners
http://www.marketwatch.com/story/after-earning-billions-in-profits-fannie-freddie-reform-further-than-ever-2015-08-10
80 billion profit DJ 80 billion

In 2 years Freddie Fannie bought 434 billion in sub primes. That was 2004- 2006
Freddie and Fannie were at their worst under Bush https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/110th_United_States_Congress
Bush left the economy as a disaster. He had help from the cumulative 14 years of GOP control of Congress

@Bill: Bill when Obama was inaugurated at the end of Jan yes the unemployment rate was 7.8% and had been trending upward at aroung 1/2% per month that continued until for about 90 days until the first of his policies were passed
That DID tend to stabilize the unemployment and it then went up about another .5% over the next 4 months, then it began dropping and has dropped down from 10% to 5%
Saying that the unemployment rate was 7.8% IS a bit of a stretch don’t you think? I mean the month of Jan was 2/3 over lol should we really blame him for that one ? If we Do leave out jan. you can see that under Obama the unemployment rate went up a total of 1.7% while under Bush it went up a total of over 4%. You can see easily that the RATE of increase in unemployent dropped substantially after The Stimulus
http://data.bls.gov/timeseries/LNS14000000
Bush was hated by virtually all when he left his approval ratings were in the teens, just like for the GOP majority Congress has now

Oh and that Stimulus that the GOP is always whining about please remember that of that total 900billion cost 1/3 went for tax relief. 1/3 went to the states so that they could pay their teachers firemen and police and about 1/3 went to infrastructure (shovel ready or non ready)@Bill: and on the stats I cited it seems to have hit 10% not 10.2%
but if it DID go as high as 10.2% it just means that Obama had more landmine destruction to fix doesn’t it.http://data.bls.gov/timeseries/LNS14000000

as for that “promise” that Obama supposedly made when i checked i could not find anything that said PROMISE but perhaps you can find something like a youtube video of him saying that
But I doubt you will, apparently no one that has already tried could find that word used in a quote
politifact.com/truth-o-meter/statements/2010/jul/13/george-will/will-obama-said-stimulus-would-cap-unemployment-8-/
They rated “Obama promised” MOSTLY FALSE
Did someone mislead you ?

@john: Do you recall Bawney Fwank promising that Fannie Mae was healthy? Also, remember the favorite tactic of the left; that every measure of fiscal responsibility equal racism hatred of the poor. The same goes with immigration reform; if it isn’t full amnesty sans border security, it is racist and hatred of immigrants.

“Stimulus” was sold as a program of “shovel ready” projects that was going to employ people losing their jobs due to the recession. What it turned out to be was a gigantic benefits program for Obama’s union supporters who, in turn, took much of that money and turned it into campaign contributions. Perhaps you recall Obama having a really good laugh over how the projects “weren’t as shovel ready as we thought.” Regardless of how it was used, the purpose was lied about and the results was failure. The proof of the failure can be seen now; stagnant growth, high unemployment and low wages. What “stimulus” accomplished was to add another trillion to the debt while keeping Obama’s political supporters happy.

Bush enjoyed three recessions courtesy of liberals. One, in 2000, bequeathed by Bubba. One in 2001 thanks to Bubba ignoring al Qaeda and bin Laden. Then the big one in 2007 courtesy of the ACA, Carter and Clinton.

as for that “promise” that Obama supposedly made when i checked i could not find anything that said PROMISE but perhaps you can find something like a youtube video of him saying that

http://www.cnsnews.com/blog/terence-p-jeffrey/obamas-stimulus-documented-failure You didn’t find it because you didn’t bother to look. You didn’t bother to look because you knew what you would find.

Don’t ignore this just because you know what’s in it. Obama’s appointees made the promises and predictions… his administration… HIM. So, either Obama simply made a habit of lying whenever he got the opportunity or he and his administration are so stupid, naive and incapable that they thought just throwing money at his political supporters was going to heal the damage wrought by social engineering that was eating away at the economy for almost 30 years.

Liberal policies produce short term benefits with long term pain. The Obamacare pain is going to hit sooner than you leftists would like.

Bush had 9+ months to get Bin laden he made no attempt
But
did give the Taliban government hundreds of billions in aid before 9/11
Those recessions? I guess the fact that Congress was under the GOP control is something we should forget
Bush was warned repeatedly that bin Laden was determined to attack the USA he did nothing except keep trying to gin up the Iraq war
The Anerican people hated Bush they thought he was the worst POTUS ever
Do you see Trump or Cruz wanting in any way to be associated with him????
It takes a crazy man to try and defend those 8 years

@John: Still would rather lie than tell the truth, I see.

How about Clinton ignoring bin Laden? Did that not occur to you? If bin Laden was such a threat, why did Clinton pass on capturing or killing him numerous times? Your flimsy logic may work on other dim witted liberals, but it does not withstand even the mildest scrutiny.

Bush’s pursuit of bin Laden is the ONLY reason he was tracked down under Obama. Obama couldn’t even track down one of the Benghazi perps even when he was giving public interviews!

Bill
Obama got Bin Laden Bush did not
I live in NYC maybe you forgot 9/11 I have not
Maybe you should take another look at Bush reading The Pet Goat during that attack
Most Americans think Bush was the worst POTUS ever
Apparently you live in BIZZARO land and think he was just the greatest
All POTUS make some mistakes Bush’s mistakes for 9/11, starting 2 invasions/occupations he couldn’t finish, and putting the economy into the Great Recession are unforgivable and unforgettable
Americans will never forget
It wasn’t only “leftists” who put Bush’s polls down into the teens. No wartime POTUS or any other has had poll numbers so low
That is a fact Am I lying? Will the GOP invite either Chrbey or Budh to their convention ?

@John: Maybe you should stick to cutting and pasting other people’s thoughts; not only are yours corroded but your key-work makes reading it far mor laborious that it is worth.

Give us some notice when you have a fact to post.

Bill really, can’t you post anything but personal insults?
I earn my living driving a truck
I make and admit to making typos
Here is a fact: most Americans disagree with what you believe is reality
You are living in a right wing bubble inflated by Rush burps.
I am quite optimistic about the USA I have faith in our country
You and your ilk do not and do nothing to try and see that all Americans have a better life. You are a bitter pathetic old man.

No Billy I am not a “truther”
Bush IS a superstar in Africa
Bush may have better approval ratings now
But certainly while he was actually on the job his numbers were abysmally low
If Bush/Cheney are so popular, why no invites to the Convention(s)?
You seem to be able to forgive Bush’s 9/11 failures, as I said before I live here.
Bill have you ever lived in an Islamic country ? I lived in Afghanistan in 76-77 and in the Southern Phillipines/Borneo in 1969. Has international travel ever shaped your world view ? Or is it mostly right wing talk radio ?

Please think about my post and certainly take more of any typos

@John: Posting long-disproven lies insults the intelligence of people that actually are aware of the truth.

You seem to think it simple to find one person in the mountains of Tora Bora. Meanwhile, Obama ponders for almost two days whether or not to nail bin Laden when he has his address. Boy, that’s leadership.

Aside from listening to John Gibson on occasion, I listen to no “right wing radio”. However, you obviously subsist on a steady diet of left wing propaganda. I hope you at least open your eyes when you drive your truck.

@DrJohn: I am afraid, Doc, you are firing off questions faster than what he is supposed to think can be retrieved

Thanks for explaining it to him Bill remember I am not just sitting down in front of a comuter with nothing else in my life but the internet I just got done loading/scaffolding now must use my coffee break to reply well first about Obama/Bush bin Laden
from wiki pursuit of bin laden https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Osama_bin_Laden#Pursuit_by_the_United_States

U.S. propaganda leaflet used in Afghanistan, with bin Laden and Ayman al-Zawahiri
Clinton administration
Capturing Osama bin Laden had been an objective of the United States government since the presidency of Bill Clinton.[173] Shortly after the September 11 attacks it was revealed that President Clinton had signed a directive authorizing the CIA (and specifically their elite Special Activities Division) to apprehend bin Laden and bring him to the United States to stand trial after the 1998 United States embassy bombings in Africa; if taking bin Laden alive was deemed impossible, then deadly force was authorized.[174] On August 20, 1998, 66 cruise missiles launched by United States Navy ships in the Arabian Sea struck bin Laden’s training camps near Khost in Afghanistan, narrowly missing him by a few hours.[175] In 1999 the CIA, together with Pakistani military intelligence, had prepared a team of approximately 60 Pakistani commandos to infiltrate Afghanistan to capture or kill bin Laden, but the plan was aborted by the 1999 Pakistani coup d’état;[175] in 2000, foreign operatives working on behalf of the CIA had fired a rocket-propelled grenade at a convoy of vehicles in which bin Laden was traveling through the mountains of Afghanistan, hitting one of the vehicles but not the one in which bin Laden was riding.[174]
In 2000, prior to the September 11 attacks, Paul Bremer characterized the Clinton administration as “correctly focused on bin Laden”, while Robert Oakley criticized their “obsession with Osama”.[130]
now also from wiki concerning St Bush
The Washington Post also reported that the CIA unit composed of special operations paramilitary forces dedicated to capturing bin Laden was shut down in late 2005.[180] Bush had previously defended this scaling back of the effort several times, saying, “I don’t know where bin Laden is. I have no idea and really don’t care. It’s not that important. It’s not our priority.”[181]
well I cared about bin Laden I cared a lot
Now for Wall street and the Dems. The GOP had a majority in Congress for 14 years and the White House for 8 are you saying that the Dems blocked reform ? Wasn’t it the GOP that was all about deregulation, free markets etc. ?
Yes I agree with Sanders there should Wall Street SHOULD have been sent to prison. I guess DrJ is now an accredited member of Occupy Wall Street
Would Dr J like to see that wife of Cruz who was so highly paid by the Goldman Sachs also locked up ?
Is rafael Cruz also demanding that Wall Street be locked up ? Why is it that only Sanders is saying it ? why is it that the GOP backers can only blame the Dems for everything and take no responsibility for their own party.

SO BILL people who held prominent positions later with Bush criticized Obama in 2000 for his obsession with bin Laden. Bush he said he didn’t really care .
Meh

Why is only Bernie saying to lock up wall street traders…ahh cause it may not have been illegal, not ethical for sure, but pressured by the government so they could hit their percentages.
Clueless Bernie recently said he was going to make gay marriage legal in all 50 states, hey Bern ol boy that train has left the station.
He looks a bit like he has wandered away from an old folks home.

@DrJohn:
So you agree mist of the bad subprimes came about before Obama was POTUS
That was when the GOP held both the WhiteHouse and both Houses of Congress
Yes clearly the left was behind that debacle
And yes the Dodd and the minority party were actually in control, of course that was the way it happens
And yes since Ovama has been in office Freddue and Fannie have together added about 80 billion to the US Treasury
The subprimes from Frannie and Freddie did much better than those from private banks/lenders
Those that had been deregulated were the big problem
But hey ! Sure lets deregulate them and get BUG GIVERNMENT. Out of the way of private enterprise
Unleash the power of free markets and to hell with those Occupy Wall Streeterswhi want them held accountable
As far as Clinton and “bribes” as I have said before, neither Clinton seems to enjoy a lavish style of living. If either did those speaking fees would have gone into their own pockets instead of into their charitable foundation
Please contrast this with where Bush’s speaking fees go.
When the Clintons left DC in 2001 and moved to NY they had to take a personal loan from a friend to be able to buy their house for 1.5 million
They still own that, they also later bought a house near DC cot slightly more
This is hardly the lifestyle of lavish living, is it? The Clintons could earn the total they spent on houses in one week through speaking fees if they wished
Sort of hard to bribe people who really don’t care about money for their own personal use
And when your foundation has already received 2000 millions in donations you can’t really expect to get much from a “bribe” can you ?

Haha
You seem unwilling to place any blame at all when things go on for YEARS With a GOP Congress and GOP POTUS well
Most Americans would disagree in fact most Republicans blamed Bush and still do
That is why he has to eat lunch all by himself everyday and will not get an invite to their big party in Cleveland

Ahhhhh isn’t it the GOP Congress that passes budgets? Obama’s budgets are running at 1/3 of Bush’s last one
Obama’s polls run 3x that if the GOP Congress

Cuomo was king of USA and could legalize predatory lending all over the USA ?
No I must have forgotten that if I ever DID know it
Do other people know that also ??

@john: #27 Well, then I guess that makes Bubba’s failure to get bin Laden and stop 9/11 nothing short of criminal, doesn’t it?

Well yes I HAVE see those properties
The one that is in the country cost 1.5 million in 2001
The brick one is the DC hiuse I believe the cost on that was 2.5 million
The beach house was leased for one month at a cost of 50,000 in Hamtons NY
These are people who don’t even OWN. A summer house on the beach
They rent. Thanks for pointing out their property ownership
