Did you know that Hillary Clinton was the one who shot Osama Bin Laden? Neither did I until the other day.
From 2013 to 2015 Hillary Clinton sucked in nearly $3 million dollars from Wall St banks. In just 12 speeches.
Clinton’s most lucrative year was 2013, right after stepping down as secretary of state. That year, she made $2.3 million for three speeches to Goldman Sachs and individual speeches to Deutsche Bank, Morgan Stanley, Fidelity Investments, Apollo Management Holdings, UBS, Bank of America, and Golden Tree Asset Managers.
The following year, she picked up $485,000 for a speech to Deutsche Bank and an address to Ameriprise. Last year, she made $150,000 from a lecture before the Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce.
To put these numbers into perspective, compare them to lifetime earnings of the median American worker. In 2011, the Census Bureau estimated that, across all majors, a “bachelor’s degree holder can expect to earn about $2.4 million over his or her work life.” A Pew Research analysis published the same year estimated that a “typical high school graduate” can expect to make just $770,000 over the course of his or her lifetime.
During the time Hillary served as Secretary of State, Bill and Hillary raked in “$17 million in talks to banks, insurance companies, hedge funds, real estate businesses, and other financial firms.”
Yes THEY made $17 million while SHE was Secretary of State. They file taxes jointly, they earn jointly. She was handing out the favors while Bill was collecting for them.
Asked if she would release the transcripts of her speeches to Goldman Sachs, Clinton laughed and turned away. There’s good reason for that. In 2013 Clinton gave a speech to Goldman Sachs in which she is reported to have said “banker-bashing so popular within both political parties was unproductive and indeed foolish.”
And now she’s going to reform them? LOL we’ve heard this story before- in 2008, from Barack Obama. He also promised to prosecute those in Wall St who ripped this country apart in the financial crisis. He lied, and there is absolutely no reason to believe her now. She is owned by Wall St, despite her protestations.
A former Goldman Sachs banker knows this as well. He suggests Wall St is pouring money into Hillary’s and Bill’s pockets as insurance:
Banks lent trillions of dollars to home buyers on too loose of terms knowing that they could turn the resulting junk mortgages into AAA securities through the alchemy of CDOs and securitization and thus generate hundreds of billions of profit and leave the resulting mortgage mess to their investing clients.
But the financial crisis is behind us, right? Why would Wall Street shower Hillary Clinton with millions of dollars in speaking fees and tens of millions in campaign contributions?
I think it is an insurance policy. Wall Street wants a friend in the White House to protect the status quo, and if they can’t get a Republican elected, Hillary is the next best thing. I think they need a friend in government because the industry could not survive an investigation into how they actually make their profits.
There are all sorts of excuses for Hillary hoovering up Wall St cash. First Clinton tries to draw you away from her owing Wall St. Hillary would have you believing that Wall St is paying her millions because, well, first because health groups and auto dealers were interested in a complicated world:
“Why do you think one of these big banks paid you over $200,000 for a speech?” Todd asked.
“Look, I gave speeches to a wide array of groups from health care groups to auto dealers and many, many more, and I think what they were interested in, because what we talked about was the world coming off of four years as secretary of state in a complicated world, people were interested in what I saw, what I thought,” Clinton said. “You know, I think Americans who are doing business in every aspect of the economy want to know more about the world. I actually think it’s a good conversation for people to be having.”
“You don’t think they expect anything in return?” Todd asked.
“Absolutely not,” Clinton said.
Unless she was taking millions from Wall St because of 9-11 and like, she’s a girl.
Oh, wait a minute, senator. You know, not only do I have hundreds of thousands of donors, most of them small, and I’m very proud that for the first time a majority of my donors are women, 60%. [Cheers and applause.] So I— I represented New York, and I represented New York on 9/11 when we were attacked. Where were we attacked? We were attacked in downtown Manhattan where Wall Street is. I did spend a whole lot of time and effort helping them rebuild. That was good for New York. It was good for the economy, and it was a way to rebuke the terrorists who had attacked our country.
But now we learn that Hillary Clinton is taking millions from Wall St because big bankers want to hear about her participation in the Bin Laden raid:
TODD: “As you know, your opponent Senator Sanders has been hitting you on Wall Street contributions and including paid speeches you did for Goldman Sachs among other banks. Let me ask you this — why do you think one of these big banks paid you over $200,000 for a speech.”

You know, I think Americans who are doing business in every aspect of the economy want to know more about the world. I actually think it’s a good conversation for people to be having.”
Make no mistake. Wall St loves Hillary:
According to a wide assortment of bankers and hedge-fund managers I spoke to for this article, Clinton’s rock-solid support on Wall Street is not anything that can be dislodged based on a few seemingly off-the-cuff comments in Boston calculated to protect her left flank. (For the record, she quickly walked them back, saying she had “short-handed” her comments about the failures of trickle-down economics by suggesting, absurdly, that corporations don’t create jobs.) “I think people are very excited about Hillary,” says one Wall Street investment professional with close ties to Washington. “Most people in New York on the finance side view her as being very pragmatic. I think they have confidence that she understands how things work and that she’s not a populist.”
A Wall St money manager said:
“The money is already behind her. “I don’t think it’s starting to line up behind her: It’s there for her if she wants it.”
She’s already been collecting and she owes them big. Hillary Clinton is irrevocably inter meshed with Goldman Sachs:
That will change if Clinton decides to run. For starters, as the former U.S. senator from New York, she is well known to many of Goldman’s leaders. They have seen her at numerous Goldman events over the years or at fundraisers in the Hamptons. Blankfein ran into the Clintons in August at a party in the Hamptons at Hollywood mogul Harvey Weinstein’s house, and there are the many pictures of Blankfein smiling broadly at her side during September’s Clinton Global Initiative in New York. A few weeks later, they spent time together at a dinner celebrating the Goldman Sachs “10,000 Women Initiative,” a Goldman-funded training and education program for female entrepreneurs.
Bill Clinton was led by the nose by Robert Rubin, the Goldman Sachs alum who convinced Clinton not to regulate derivatives, which was the linchpin of the financial crisis. When it came time for real Wall St. reforms, Clilnton stayed mostly mum:
She’s been fairly cagey about this issue, eager to assuage both sides. Where Obama blamed Wall Street—not inaccurately—for behavior that caused the 2008 financial crisis and championed new Wall Street regulations like the Volcker Rule and the 2010 Dodd-Frank law that really stick in the craw of money men—all while presiding over a veritable profit boon for the financial industry—Clinton said hardly a word on the topic of Wall Street shenanigans.
I will be really interested in seeing whether Sen. Elizabeth Warren sells out.
Above all else, sources close to Warren argue that Rubin and his followers put the interests of financial markets first and downplay the challenges facing the middle class.
In a debate with Sanders, Clinton admitted:
“I know how much money influences the political decision-making.”
Yes, she does. She is living proof of it.
When Bill Clinton admitted in 2010 that he allowed Wall St. to screw up the economy, he also said something about himself and his wife:
Their argument was that derivatives didn’t need transparency because they were “expensive and sophisticated and only a handful of people will buy them and they don’t need any extra protection,” Clinton said. “The flaw in that argument was that first of all, sometimes people with a lot of money make stupid decisions and make it without transparency.”
That could not describe the Clinton’s any more accurately.

illary Rodham Clinton likes to travel in style.
She insists on staying in the “presidential suite” of luxury hotels that she chooses anywhere in the world, including Las Vegas.
She usually requires those who pay her six-figure fees for speeches to also provide a private jet for transportation — only a $39 million, 16-passenger Gulfstream G450 or larger will do.
And she doesn’t travel alone, relying on an entourage of a couple of “travel aides,” and a couple of advance staffers who check out her speech site in the days leading up to her appearance, much like a White House trip, according to her contract and supporting documents concerning her Oct. 13 speech at a University of Nevada, Las Vegas Foundation fundraiser. The documents were obtained by the Las Vegas Review-Journal through the state public records law.
CENTER OF ATTENTION
Clinton, a former first lady, U.S. senator from New York and U.S. secretary of state, is expected to run for president in 2016. Her lifestyles of the rich and famous ways and comments that she made about her wealth during a recent book tour have fueled criticism that she’s out of touch with average Americans.
The Democratic contender said she pays taxes, unlike some people who are “truly well off.” She also said she and her husband, former President Bill Clinton, were “dead broke” when they left the White House in 2001. In the past eight years alone, the couple has earned more than $100 million, much of it from speaking fees, according to Politico.
In fact, the former president spoke at the 2012 UNLV Foundation dinner, taking home a $250,000 fee. His spouse will get $225,000 to speak at the annual dinner. The size of Hillary Clinton’s fee has come under fire from critics who question the large expense in an era when students are hard-pressed to cover tuition and leave school saddled with massive debt.
But Clinton’s $225,000 is something of a cut-rate. Documents obtained by the newspaper show that she initially asked for $300,000 and reveal that she insists on controlling every detail of the private event, large and small, to ensure that she will be the center of attention.
“It is agreed that Speaker will be the only person on the stage during her remarks,” according to the May 13 contract the Harry Walker Agency signed for Clinton’s keynote address at the Bellagio.
According to her standard speaking contract, Clinton will remain at the event no longer than 90 minutes; will pose for no more than 50 photos with no more than 100 people; and won’t allow any press coverage or video- or audio-taping of her speech.
The only record allowed will be made by a stenographer whose transcription will be given only to Clinton. The stenographer’s $1,250 bill, however, will go to the UNLV Foundation.
The foundation, meanwhile, is prohibited from advertising the event on radio, TV or billboards. Mail and website ads are allowed, although Clinton staffers must approve in writing any promotional material. One unhappy UNLV Foundation official in an email complained of “meddling” after Clinton’s agency edited a description of the annual dinner to “dumb it down.”
And Clinton’s demand for approval of all website material before it hits the Internet prompted a UNLV Web designer to grouse in an email that it seems “assbackwards in my mind.”
The foundation complied with Clinton’s wishes, however.
POLITICS IN PLAY
While big-name speakers such as the Clintons have been proven moneymakers, the foundation took a pass on a Hillary appearance in 2013 because Bill had appeared the previous year and the organization didn’t want to come off as favoring Democrats.
“We need to be careful not to appear partisan,” said a Feb. 18, 2013, email from the UNLV Foundation to the Harry Walker Agency.
Later, in a Jan. 31, 2014, email, UNLV suggested that Hillary Clinton might want to be interviewed by former TV broadcaster Tom Brokaw, who was supposed to speak in 2013 but fell ill and had to be replaced by talk show host Charlie Rose.
“It would temper any criticism by uber conservative donors that we’re giving her a campaign stop, particularly in light of the fact the BC was here 2 years prior,” reads an email from Tori Klein of the UNLV Foundation to Beth Gargano, a Harry Walker Agency representative.
But Clinton, who has had a rocky relationship with the press, had already vetoed media interviews.
Ironically, uber-conservative donor Sheldon Adelson, the chairman and chief executive officer of the Las Vegas Sands Corp. who donated an estimated $150 million to GOP campaigns and causes in 2012, will be honored at the UNLV Foundation dinner. His company helped UNLV raise millions of dollars this year and committed $7 million toward construction of a hotel college building and a proposed Center for Professional and Leadership Studies, the foundation said.
BIG NAMES
The annual dinner, one of Las Vegas’ biggest fundraising events, attracts powerful donors. The top givers this year, who purchased the most expensive $20,000 tables, are a who’s who of Nevada business and politics. They include:
Bank of America; Barnes & Noble College; Barrick Gold; the Bennett Family Foundation; Cashman Equipment Co.; the Engelstad Family; Kell and Nancy Houssels; Konami Gaming Inc.; Dana and Gregory Lee; Mr. and Mrs. Hae Un Lee of Lee’s Discount Liquor; Joyce Mack; The Mendenhall Family; MGM Resorts International; NV Energy; PR Partners; the Wells Fargo Foundation; and Michael and Renee Yackira.
Clinton’s contract allows her to invite up to 20 guests, including her staff, and have them sit together to be able to join the photo line.
None of the photos can be made public.
“The Sponsor is also required to communicate to the photo line attendees that the photo is for private, personal use only and that the photo cannot be used in any way to imply any kind of endorsement of an entity, individual, product or service,” the contract says.
“Any use of the photo that suggests or implies any such endorsement is forbidden.”
UNLV did win one major concession in contract talks that stretched more than a year: The Harry Walker Agency Inc. agreed to a $225,000 fee, down from Clinton’s standard $300,000.
Clinton’s fee usually includes expenses such as travel by private jet, other transportation, hotel rooms, phone charges, a TelePrompter, if needed, and all meals and “incidentals” for her and her staff.
“We can bring the fee down (because of the fact that a major portion of the $300K is for the jet),” an agency representative wrote in a May 23, 2013, email to a UNLV Foundation official.
“I believe the $225,000 ALL INCLUSIVE plus stenographer fee should do it,” the agency said in a follow-up May 31, 2013, email after the university negotiated the discount and asked for confirmation.
Presumably, Clinton will have to pay for her own jet to Las Vegas, presidential suite and other costs she normally charges to events, unless some private donor picks up the tab.
According to a May 31, 2013 email, Clinton’s standard contract usually includes:
■ Round-trip transportation on a chartered private jet “e.g., a Gulfstream 450 or larger jet,” plus round-trip business class travel for two advance staffers who will arrive up to three days in advance.
■ Hotel accommodations selected by Clinton’s staff and including “a presidential suite for Secretary Clinton and up to three (3) adjoining or contiguous single rooms for her travel aides and up to two (2) additional single rooms for the advance staff.”
■ A $500 travel stipend to cover out-of-pocket costs for Clinton’s lead travel aide.
■ Meals and incidentals for Clinton, her travel aides and advance staff, as well as all phone charges.
■ Final approval of all moderators or introducers.
BIG MONEYMAKER
The UNLV Foundation expects up to 1,000 people for the dinner, which is expected to turn a healthy profit. By early July, the organization had already sold out its top $20,000 tables with the $10,000, $5,000 and $3,000 tables going fast.
Individual tickets also are on sale for $200 each.
UNLV student leaders have sent a letter to the Bill, Hillary & Chelsea Clinton Foundation, which collects the $225,000 fee, asking that Hillary Clinton donate all or part of the money back to the university. They’ve received no reply.
UNLV Foundation leaders have defended paying such a high fee to Clinton, arguing that the dinner will make a profit and that her presence is both a big draw and an honor.
The foundation has raised more than $1 billion for the university over the years.

This is the Only type of Capitalism that Wall Street wants, because if they wanted Regulated Free Enterprise with Free and Fair Competition, then they would Not need to Bribe anyone in America, because that is the Economic System that made America Prosperous.
There has long been some level of Socialism in America, and one example is the Military, where Taxpayers Money is used to Defend the American People, and most Americans agree that they want that, even though they might not know that this is an example of Socialism.
There are Americans who identify themselves as Social Democrats, who think that if Socialism can be used to Defend Americans, then Socialism can be used to Defend the Health of Americans, and even to Defend against Illiteracy, and this is there is the Public School System, even though there is also the Private Education System.

If we look back at the Banking Crisis and the Sub Prime Mortgage Crisis, then it is Obvious that it would have been Much Better and Cheaper if there had been a Federal Housing Commission that purchased or built houses and rented them to low income earners, then there would Not have been a Sub Prime Mortgage Crisis that created a large Recession in America and that created much homelessness, and Much Public Debt.

This is because Socialists would have purchased existing homes to rent to the poor, and this would have increased the Value of Houses overall, and they would have built new Housing, and this would have Stimulated the Economy and Employment in the construction of those Houses, and with Companies selling Building Materials, and other household goods.
Even if the Country could Not make a profit on this, it would Not lose Money on the scale that America lost because of Crony Capitalism, because the Government would have owned those Properties which they could sell some of them if they wanted to, and they would charge rent, and this would be a Source of Government Revenue.
This is why Crony Capitalism has been Proven to create Poverty and Recessions, and the remedy is to return to Regulated Free Enterprise which has Free and Fair Competition, and where Inefficient Private Businesses are Not Subsidized by the Taxpayers.
There has been suggestions by some People that they want to have Free Tertiary Education in America, where the Government pays the Tuition Fees for Trade Apprenticeships, Universities, and for Colleges.
Those who wish to make this an Campaign promise, should look at a Countries very similar to America where this was tried, and which was very popular, but it was discovered decades later by the same Democratic Socialist Party which introduced that scheme after they were back again in Government, that there were problems with it, because Students were gaining their Degrees and going overseas, and the Country had to pay for the cost of that Education, and they then had to seek Migrants to take the positions of those Graduating Students who could make more Money working overseas.
What the same Democratic Socialist Party did was to give Interest Free Loans to the Students, who would make Interest Free payments of a certain rate to the Government for their Tuition Fees, but Only after their wages were higher than 65 % of the Country’s average wages.
If they became unemployed or changed jobs and their income become less than 65 % of the Country’s average wages, then they would temporarily cease making Interest Free payments to pay off their Student Loan, until their Income become higher than 65 % of the Country’s Average wages, and then they would recommence to make Interest Free payments on their Student Loan.
Social Democrats of America should look at where Socialist Programs have been implemented, and where they were modified, and this Socialist Program has had been Beneficial to both the Students and to that Country and its Economy.
American Socialists should be modest in their Socialist Economic Policies, and the purpose is to help People and the Economy.
If Hillary Clinton becomes the Democrat’s nomination for Presidential Candidate, then the Republicans may have this or another Socialist Policy as their Policy, because something similar to this is what Senator Sanders is advocating.
This will cause Many Democrat Voters to Vote Republican, because they think that Senator Sanders should be the Democrat nomination for Presidential Candidate, and because the Clintons Totally Control the American Democrats, which is supposed to be a Democratic Political Party, and because they think that it should be easier for poorer Americans to gain a higher Education or a Trade in America.
The Student Loans that I mentioned in my other comment, are Interest Free Loans, and the Tuition Fee is Not free, and it is affordable.
It would be paid by those who Graduate and those who do not graduate, depending on how long they were at the Institution of Higher Education, and on what Degree was Studied, because some are more costly than others.
There is a way that a Person could receive a Free College Education, and that would be that they never made more than 65 % of the Country’s average income after Graduating or not graduating from an Institution of Higher Education.
That would be only a minority with regards to Graduates, and if 65 % of the Country’s average income is considered to be too high a percentage, then perhaps the Scheme could begin at 50 % of the Country’s average income, then it could be reviewed and adjusted if that was necessary to improve it.
These Graduating Students will be earning Good Salaries, and Paying Taxes and Purchasing Goods and Services from Companies who will Need to then Employ More Workers, and so this Government Student Loan Scheme for what is a concessional Higher Education, because of the Interest Free component to it, is in Fact an Investment for the Economy, and Benefits the Economy much More than what it costs to implement.
This Scheme requires less Government expenditure, and it discourages those who do not want to Study and Graduate from taking on the Government Funded Student loan, and while it is Not Free for the vast majority of Students, it is affordable and gives Opportunities to all People, whose grades are sufficiently good to be granted to Study at a College.
We have seen in America that there is Bad Crony Capitalism, and there is Regulated Free Enterprise with Free and Fair Competition which is Good Capitalism, and there is also Bad Socialism and there is Good Socialism which Benefits a Country.
It should be keep in mind that Regulated Free Enterprise will be the Preferred Method for the Economy, because it is the Best Economic System, and Social Democrats Know this.
There is a role for Government, and one main role is to help the Economy, so that the Economy will Recover, and a Strong Economy will Increase Government Revenue.
A Proper Economy where more People are working will allow the Government to both Reduce Taxes and to Provide Better Services for the Citizens.
If the Big Banks which caused the Economic Recession were only given half of the Money that they received, and the other half of that Money had been used by the Federal Government to purchase houses whose owners could not pay the Bank Loan, then that Money would have gone to Banks, and they would have been Recapitalized, and People who been paying a modest rent to the Government, but then the Greedy Insatiable Banks, could Not keep making as much Money on Interest on those Home Loans.
This would have Significantly Reduced Homelessness and Poverty, and it would have been a Source of Government Revenue, but the Banks Callously Pursued their Anti Social Policies against Fellow Americans, as their way of saying thank you to the Naive Taxpayers, even though in Capitalism Banks would Not have pursued risky policies, and if they did, then they would go Bankrupt.
