Donald, don’t you dare apologize for saying Hillary got “schlonged”- UPDATED

Recently both Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton have made statements that give one pause. How they’ve been taken and the manner in which they’ve been addressed is really entertaining.

Trump made the statement that thousands of Muslims in Jersey City celebrated the collapse of the Twin Towers:

“Hey, I watched when the World Trade Center came tumbling down,” the billionaire businessman and former Atlantic City casino tycoon said during a rally Saturday night in Birmingham, Ala., according to video of his speech. “And I watched in Jersey City, N.J., where thousands and thousands of people were cheering as that building was coming down. Thousands of people were cheering.”

He was seized upon immediately.

The Star-Ledger reported that while the were widespread rumors of celebrations by Muslims in Newark and Paterson — a city with an estimated 25,000 Muslim residents, the second-most of any U.S. town — police and local leaders denied they ever took place.

Out of the fear of politically correct reprisal, no doubt.

The heavily-left leaning Politifact hit Trump with a pants on fire.

Trump’s recollection of events in New Jersey in the hours after the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks flies in the face of all the evidence we could find. We rate this statement Pants on Fire.

Yet there was evidence that while Trump’s numbers were off, something did happen:

• A retired police captain, Peter Gallagher, said he cleared a rooftop celebration of 20 to 30 people at 6 Tonnele Ave., a four-story apartment building with an unobstructed view of Lower Manhattan, in the hours after the second tower fell.

• Knight was one of two Tonnele Avenue residents who said they witnessed a crowd celebrating on John F. Kennedy Boulevard not far from Masjid Al-Salam, the mosque where Omar Abdel-Rahman, known as the “blind sheikh,” preached before the 1993 World Trade Center bombing.

• Numerous people called police to report an exultant crowd on the roof of 2801 John F. Kennedy Blvd., a distinctive, five-story apartment building at the intersection of Sip Avenue, said retired officer Arthur Teeter, who worked in the radio room at police headquarters on Sept. 11.

• Three additional officers who remain on the Jersey City force said they witnessed small groups of Muslim celebrants on Sept. 11, but they would not speak for attribution, citing a department policy that prohibits media interviews.

Shut down by the PC Nazis:

The officers, including a high-ranking official, said their reluctance to speak publicly also stemmed from concern they would run afoul of Jersey City Mayor Steven Fulop, who has repeatedly said celebrations did not take place.

“I saw it with my own eyes,” the ranking officer said. “In the end, police officers are professionals, so we just observed that stuff and sucked it up.”

There was also the WaPo article:

“authorities detained and questioned a number of people who were allegedly seen celebrating the attacks and holding tailgate-style parties on rooftops while they watched the devastation on the other side of the river.”

And then there’s another eye witness, Ed Straker, in the American Thinker:

People can be forgiven if they don’t know whether to believe Donald Trump’s claim that he saw Muslims celebrating 9/11 in New Jersey.  But I, a New Yorker who was nearly killed in 9/11 and had that day burned into my memory,  saw it with my own eyes.  There was a video aired of the incident.  I remember seeing obviously Arab-looking individuals dancing and shouting for joy on rooftops.  There were less than thousands of them, but there were way more than a handful.

When Politifact reviewed Clinton’s claim they said this of Clinton’s assertion:

We were unable to find any evidence to support this. The Clinton campaign did not provide any evidence that this is already happening — only that it could be happening, or that it may in the future. If ISIS was using Trump for recruitment videos, we would expect a frenzy of media coverage over it. We rate this claim False.

They found some evidence of Trump”s statement having merit but did all they could to dismiss it. Trump got a “Pants on Fire” and she gets a “False.” One wonders why she didn’t get a “Pantsuit on Fire” other than for the fact that Politifact is as biased to the left as we all know it is.

The left, taking a cue from ISIS, is now seeking to rewrite the history which it disagrees or finds uncomfortable. It’s happening on college campuses and in cities. They’re brow beating into submission those whose memories would challenge the desired narrative. This kind of politically correct mindset is what allowed 1400 young girls to be sexually abused in Rotherham England and it is what allowed Tashfeen Malik to pass through the fingers of this feckless administration.

There is evidence of what Trump said- just not in the numbers he claimed. There is NO evidence of what Clinton said, yet he is excoriated while she largely skips by unscratched. She smeared Trump with a lie and she won’t apologize.

So when Trump says that Hillary got “schlonged”, I’m going to sit back and LMAO. Don’t you dare apologize, Donald.

As long as we’re talking ISIS videos, when will someone in the press ask Clinton bout her husband being labeled the “fornicator” in the ISIS recruitment video?

Politifact gave Trump “Lie of the Year.”  They named him as “Lie of the Year.” This is the same Politifact that stood by Obama’s “You can keep your plan and your doctor” for years, yet they did not name obama “Lie of the Year.” They simply called out obama’s lie without dragging him into it personally. Then again, the Politifact rules are always different for liberals.
