Islamists have a friend in high places

obama islam

Long before the day I was graciously afforded the opportunity to write on this blog I have been contemptuous of Barack Obama. Time has only heightened that contempt. Two stories that parallel each other demonstrate just how badly Barack Obama will compromise the US for the sake of his hubris.

The jihadista of San Bernardino, Malik Tashfeen, passed three DHS background checks when immigrating to the United States. The Obama administration looks the other way when it comes to social media postings- on the part of immigrants. Tashfeen openly supported violent jihad but in the Obama regime that’s not a disqualifier. The boss at DHS wouldn’t allow it.

Department of Homeland Security Secretary Jeh Johnson resisted calls last year to allow immigration agents to review visa applicants’ social media activity because of fear of “bad public relations,” according to a former agency official.

“During that time period immigration officials were not allowed to use or view social media as part of the screening process,” John Cohen, a former under-secretary at DHS for intelligence and analysis, told ABC News, where he now works as a national security consultant.

Why the f**k not?

Can’t you just hear Obama blurting out “It’s just not who we are”?

Can’t you just hear Obama spew “It’s contrary to our values”?

Obama and Johnson, however, do approve of monitoring the social media of American citizens.

In its “National Operations Center Media Monitoring Capability Desktop Reference Binder,” published in 2011, DHS encouraged agents to compile reports based upon a list of items of interest (IOI) which included discussions on sites like Twitter and Facebook about “policy directives, debates and implementations related to DHS.”

Ginger McCall, whose group, the Electronic Privacy Information Center, obtained the manual through a Freedom of Information Act request, told The New York Times in 2012 said that DHS was essentially monitoring the Internet “for criticism of the government.”

Apparently that is “who we are.”

I anticipate CAIR objecting to the scrutiny of the social media of Muslims seeking entrance to the US as “racist.”

What do you do if you’ve made a promise to close a prison and begin to realize that the promise you made with such grandeur and pomp is not likely to come to pass and you are staring at a major embarrassment?

You empty the prison. Then there’s no reason to keep it open.

You make up a bullshit story about trading them for a POW who really was a deserter.
Obama traded ten, not five, Taliban for Bowe Bergdahl. The Dream Team of terrorists were the second batch. Obama released five the year before as am “olive branch.” Sixteen American soldiers lost their lives for the deserter.

The cost of stroking Obama’s ego.

Obama sprang Ibrahim Qosi in 2012. Where’d he end up?

Al Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula (AQAP) released a new video featuring a former Guantanamo detainee, Ibrahim Qosi, who is also known as Sheikh Khubayb al Sudani.

In July 2010, Qosi plead guilty to charges of conspiracy and material support for terrorism before a military commission. His plea was part of a deal in which he agreed to cooperate with prosecutors during his remaining time in US custody. Qosi was transferred to his home country of Sudan two years later, in July 2012.

Qosi joined AQAP in 2014 and became one of its leaders. Qosi and other AQAP commanders discussed their time waging jihad at length in the video, entitled “Guardians of Sharia.”

Qosi was a proponent of “individual jihad”, seen in the Charlie Hebdo attack and yes, in San Bernardino.

More of the cost of soothing Obama’s ego.

Obama is releasing dangerous terrorists and outright lying about it:

President Barack Obama says his administration will continue releasing terrorists from the detention facility at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, so long as those released are less dangerous than the jihadists currently fighting against the U.S. and its interests.

The bizarre argument comes in a new interview with Olivier Knox of Yahoo! News and is one of several comments in their discussion that reinforces the president’s stubborn nonchalance on issues related to jihad. Obama also shrugs off concerns about recidivism of former Guantanamo detainees, suggesting that only a “handful” of former detainees have returned to the fight and claiming that only “low-level” terrorists have been released from the detention facility. Both claims are demonstrably false.

You’ll definitely want to read the whole thing.

Obama’s claim that Gitmo is a recruiting tool for terrorists is pure horse crap. ISIS never mentions Gitmo. Neither does the Taliban. Only Obama. It’s simply a hammer with which to beat those who know better. And as I wrote last month, there would be no better recruiting tool for Islamic radicalism than holding violent Islamic radicals on US soil. These two stories have Obama hubris and ego as the common thread.

Barack Obama’s ego and hubris are costing American lives. Islamists must clearly realize that they have a friend in high places. After all, the future must not belong to those who would embarrass the Obama.

@John: For the record, Johnny, so far, no one has found anyone that was falsely accused by McCarthy. Everyone that he said was a communist has been determined to have been a communist (according to the KGB files)
You are a Loooooserrrrr…

@Greg: 27

They may, however, refrain from eating pork chops.

But the must sell pork chops if they sell food.

WOW!! Been gone a while.. things sure have HEATED UP in here!! LOL!!

@John: john, as we all know, Ford did not have any engine plants in Germany during ww2. Do you always HAVE to be wrong?

Who is the coordinator of all these stupid liberal, socialists dimocrats? I just can not believe there are that many stupid, uneducated morons on this planet. Every comment I read by the libtards is so unbelievable, I just have to shake my head. Where did the country go wrong? I guess not allowing abortions when the first dumbass dimocrats were born. Had we not been compassionate and have let them all been aborted, we wouldn’t have this mess today. Had we allowed abortions back then, they would all have been aborted and we wouldn’t have this mess today. I guess I need to change my opinion on the value of abortion.

@Redteam:

You have to go back decades to when the U.S. allowed immigration of the “intellectuals” from the Frankfurt School of Marxism to escape an ever increasingly aggressive German government. Those “intellectuals”, once migrating to the U.S., took positions in our universities like Columbia. You also have to take into consideration that those professors then influenced young, impressionable students, like William Ayers, who went on to teach other young, impressionable students.

Another factor would be the “chicken in every pot” philosophy promoted by the Democrats of the 1930’s, advanced by LBJ and now having created an entire segment of our society that believes it is the governments responsibility to take care of them when they refuse to take care of themselves.

I advise every conservative to read the writings of Antonio Gramsci. If you want to know where Democrats get their philosophy, that is a good place to start.

Our government was never designed to take care of you. It was designed to allow you to take care of yourself, and your family, by your own hard work, without the government blocking that personal independence. Now we have college students demanding a free college education, as if they are entitled to it. Meritocracy seems to be foreign to them. They feel entitled simply because they breath.

That’s what we get when we convince children there is nothing greater than self.

Hey, Dr John!
Youv’e got a brand new lie to add to the long list of Obama Lies.
Remember how strongly and repeatedly over several years Obama insisted that ”Assad must go?”

Well……
Obama has suddenly ”evolved,” on this (just like he did on gay marriage.) (I guess he buys into ”punctuated equalibrium.”)

@Greg:

That Muslims would want Sharia in Muslim nations isn’t particularly surprising. Given that Muslims represent less than 1 percent of the U.S. population and are unlikely to reach 2 percent by 2050, Sharia isn’t even an issue here.

What percentage of citizens are gay, Greg? Did you miss the latest revision of the term “marriage” that was due to the whining of that demographic?

, #45:

Says who? Breitbart? World Net Daily? Do you have a real source, that clarifies what that number actually represents?

Per the responses of DHS to the Senate panel. They send people to answer questions and don’t even bother bringing the answers. This administration is a danger to the nation.

@Redteam: Not only bowing but bowing to a king that could not stand him.
Saudi King Abdullah ‘could not stand’ Obama, the U.S. President sided with Turkey and the Muslim Brotherhood after Mohammed Mursi’s overthrow in Egypt. Obama even sent U.S. Senators John McCain and Lindsey Graham to Egypt in the early days after Mursi’s ouster to plead for the release of Brotherhood prisoners. Meddling in ME affairs that it seems he has little if any understanding of.

@Bill, #58:

What percentage of citizens are gay, Greg? Did you miss the latest revision of the term “marriage” that was due to the whining of that demographic?

I don’t believe being gay is an acquired characteristic, like religion or ideology. I think it’s probably a characteristic a person is born with. Gay marriage requires no one else to alter their own definition of marriage.

Most of the whining is coming from opponents of gay marriage, who are apparently offended because their imagined right to openly express their bigotry has been diminished.

@DrJohn:

@Rich Wheeler:

As a Marine Officer I’ve never been a big fan of degrading a sitting POTUS. Seems only recently you’ve joined the sophomoric CIC bashing.

I appreciate your position but then I have never had a President who calls Americans his “enemies”, nor have I seen a President honor a deserter.

And I have never seen a US President that dishonored a Marine Guard by making him hold an umbrella!

@Greg: I don’t believe being gay is an acquired characteristic, like religion or ideology. I think it’s probably a characteristic a person is born with.

Greg, according to the koran ALL humans are born Muslim.
According to them, even though their ”religion” didn’t exist until 700 CE even Adam was a Muslim!
People are not said to ”convert” into Islam but rather to REVERT back to Islam from their strayed state.
Also, in Muslim lands, people have No Right to Leave Islam.
If a person even tried to openly say he is now atheist, agnostic, Christian or anything other than Muslim he/she can be killed for apostasy.

@Budvarakbar: Ha To This Day I’ve never carried an open umbrella to protect myself–I have protected my wife. CIC made a mistake he has not repeated.
DJ Bergdahl will get his day in court—martial
Repubs. have been out to TOTALLY degrade this POTUS since inauguration day–IMO shameful — and then he beat you again. You nominate Trump you lose AGAIN.
What’s the matter with you folks—are you masochists?

Semper Fi

@Greg: People aren’t born gay…any more than they are born straight. Sexuality develops, and can change drastically over time. It’s not convenient to the Right or the Left, but it’s what the science can find, so far.

Lobbying for a established culture isn’t bigotry, though we’re in the middle of cultural shift.

People called for a change in the laws, and those laws were changed. That’s how it works. I don’t agree with Roe v. Wade, or LGBT marriage, on every point, but it’s the law. I’m not allowed to break that without penalty. We make compromises, and the issue with the left is how zealous and vacuous it’s become in pursuit of…well, whatever angry “cause” is being offered by media and entertainment.

Islam.

Islam is more of a geo-political ideology than a religion, thought the religious portion can’t be ignored. That’s the genius of how our enemies are using our love of freedom against us. They can hide anything they want within the auspices of “freedom of religion”.

But…

For a religion — Islam, Christianity, Judaism — to either supplant or replace American Law with another law is illegal. That is why the threat of sharia advocates has real merit.

Muslims in America can say or believe anything they want…as can Atheists…as can members of the Black Panthers and KKK.

Because we’re a nation of Laws, not of sentiments, beliefs, or opinions.

Islam — all of it– is being used a vessel for illegal acts of both violence and supplanting the law.

Trump’s call to ban Muslim immigrants until this can be sorted out is logical, and not bigoted. Responding in a predictable, childish way that many PC-programmed citizens are is the real bigotry.

@Rich Wheeler: The real threat to freedom posed by the Left is their sense of absolute primacy…no compromise, whatsoever.

Obama was poor candidate amped up by white money, corporate sponsors, and bigotry…you know, like every other politician.

But couple this junior Senator to Bush Derangement Syndrome, and wham…insta-president….it’s the worst case of demagoguery ever committed in America.

The BDS wave of hysteria inspired too many to justify their lack of respect for other Americans who differed in their points of views and beliefs.

We’re a nation of many opinions, and we come to consensus.

No, just because of some prop won the election does not give libs free reign for all eternity. Get used to it.

Trump? He’s what liberals used to look like before they drank the kool-aid….

@Rich Wheeler:

Repubs. have been out to TOTALLY degrade this POTUS since inauguration day

All anyone has done is point out the self-degradation.

@Nathan Blue: Nathan both abortion and gay marriage were the SCOTUS by fiat making shit up to suit personal agendas, if they were laws there would have been legislation not just rulings.

@Rich Wheeler: Rich, yes Obola won two elections. The first one he lied to America by telling them if they like their doctor and/health insurance they could keep them period. America rewarded this lie with an historic take bake of the House by Republicans. The second election he told America Iraq is stable and Al Qaeda is on their heels. Shortly after that 9/11 happened in Benghazi and Hilldabeast and Obola lied about a video as the cause. America rewarded this lie by giving the Senate back to Republicans. Hilldabeast still has blood on her hands for this lie and America will reward Republicans again. I do NOT think Trump will get the nomination but if he did he would still be better than Hilldabeast “period”!!

@kitt: Well said Kit, if the world of popular opinion both would fail as they should!! Politics is part of the Supreme Court and sadly works for and agains both Parties.

@Nathan Blue: ‘Trump-Libs before Kool-Aid ?? explain
Trump is the ultimate opportunist–didn’t translate to a win when he was a Dem. or when an Indie– He spreads fear and bigotry among angry, insecure, poorly educated white voters–“if he can say it it’s o.k. for me to parrot him”– The demographics of our country will bury him if he gets the nom.–bet on it.
Good news for the GOP is he won’t get the nom.

N’B “People are not born straight–sexuality develops over time.” You believe that??

Common Sense As you know ACA came after election. What have Repubs. accomplished with House and Senate?—83% disapproval– Dems will gain in both in 2016 if Trump gets nom.

@Greg:
bigotry. If I do not care for the proclivities of gay (which BTW are less than 2% of the population in the United States) I am a bigot; if I do not care for red, white or blue or any other color in the rainbow, I am a bigot; if I don’t like big macs I am a bigot; if I don’t care for muslims as they, by their teachings are told to exterminate non-believers like myself, I am a bigot. The term bigot has been beaten to death as much as the word racist. What I find ironic is that those mentioned above (except for the big mac) want us to be tolerant of their lifestyles and bend to their ways, however they will not be tolerant of mine. Although the following is my philosophy, if things don’t change I may have to rethink it. I do not care where you stick it or when, or what religion you are or how you practice it UNLESS you get into my space, my families space or my friends. Then all bets are off. I do not go looking for a fight, but I will defend myself . I will not be a victim.

@Rich Wheeler:

Trump Obama is the ultimate opportunist–didn’t translate to a win when he was a Dem. or when an Indie– He spreads fear and bigotry among angry, insecure, poorly educated white minority voters–“if he can say it it’s o.k. for me to parrot him”– The demographics of our country will bury him if he gets the nom.–bet on it.

Fixed it for you. The demographics of our nation is changing, but the fact that you, and every other liberal, assumes that the increasing minorities (who are the majority in a number of states) will continue to vote Democrat, shows only your arrogance.

You see, Rich, as second and third generations of those minorities become educated, and are capable of getting good paying jobs, they resent the over burdensome taxes and government regulations as much as anyone else. And that, Mr. Politically Astute, is exactly the reason why Democrats want open borders and easy access to social welfare for those minorities. The Democrats want the votes and view those minorities as nothing more than votes. Your tribe is banking on them being too stupid to ever figure that out.

But time’s a changing, boy. And more and more Hispanics are migrating to the Republican Party. Oh, perhaps not in your state where welfare runs rampant and illegals are catered to, but in other states you are going to see educated, medium/high income earning Hispanics jumping the political fence.

@retire05: None of the medium to high income Hispanics I know have any intention of voting for Trump–Some may vote for Rubio, a lesser% for Cruz
The arrogance lies with the angry Trumpists, blinded by an anger that may win the battle–the nom–but will surely lose the war, and with a Clinton win, assure 4 more years of Obama like politics.

@kitt: I understand, though I concede that there are two prevailing ideologies at work in America, and I’m against one outlawing the other. Liberal rulings/laws will always be around, just as conservative ones will.

The issue is the rabid, non-democratic way the libs/dems go about business these days, believing they are so “right” in their hatred of white, Christian, heterosexual males as to wage an endless culture war.

@Rich Wheeler: You’re quite the parrot yourself.

Polls: propaganda generated to tell people what they are to think, or already think. Vilifying congress worked for Clinton, and now for Obama. They’re there for checks and balances. Obama’s election does not make him an autocrat. The voice of people, held in the congress, senate, and oval office, make the government. You falsely believe the majority of Americans are libs/dems. They’re not. They’re neither lib nor con.

N’B “People are not born straight–sexuality develops over time.” You believe that??

I do. I’m merely following actual science. But you’re programmed to reject anything outside of the gay narrative, even though the above shows people are gay and can’t “help” it. The science doesn’t help Conservative thought, or Lib thought. Funny how you don’t think about it, but spout off, like a machine.

He spreads fear and bigotry among angry, insecure, poorly educated white voters

That’s a racist, bigoted statement.

You’re not very open-minded, and your views aren’t really views at all, merely lib rhetoric.

He spreads fear and bigotry among angry, insecure, poorly educated white voters

I’m a Navy Submarine Veteran (Nuclear Propulsion Operator), have an MBA, have volunteered in the black community in many ways over my life (CASA, House-parent for at-risk boys, mentor)…and I’m white…because the vast, vast majority of Americans are white (67%).

You are white.

I’m not racist, nor stupid because I support Trump. You, however, are racist against whites…a kind of self-righteous self-hatred that he media/entertainment industry perpetuates.

I held this view when I was younger, but learned a bit more.

Checks and balances. Libs and Cons both get a say in how the country runs. Libs do not own the country. Get over it.

Oh, and I’m pretty secure in the fact that I understand the issues in this country infinitely better than you do.

@Nathan Blue: N.B You are making stuff up–I didn’t call you or Trump supporters racist—However you did call me a racist–because I support Rubio over Trump?
“Gay narrative” Because I believe I was born straight?
Where did I suggest libs run the country or are a majority
You are the one who loves catch phrases like media /entertainment industry perpetuates self hatred–what B.S Nathan
I’d always thought you an intelligent moderate who added a reasoned tone to the debate

You didn’t explain your Trump/Kool-Aid reference. Thanks

@Rich Wheeler:

None of the medium to high income Hispanics I know have any intention of voting for Trump–Some may vote for Rubio, a lesser% for Cruz

And exactly where did I claim that medium/high income Hispanics would vote for Trump? Oh, that’s right. I didn’t. Just more of you putting words in someone’s mouth that wasn’t there? Yeah! So why don’t you try re-reading what I said, Rich?

Also, I would question how many medium/high income Hispanics you would actually know in California. The high school graduation rate for Hispanics in California has been dismal for decades and the number of Hispanics graduating from universities there even worse. A 50% Hispanic high school drop out rate in California doesn’t build medium/high income in that ethnic group.

The arrogance lies with the angry Trumpists, blinded by an anger that may win the battle–the nom–but will surely lose the war, and with a Clinton win, assure 4 more years of Obama like politics.

The fact that you, a liberal, are so fixated on Trump speaks volumes. It is true the left will always tell you who they are afraid of. Why aren’t you more concerned with the aged and white pathetic offerings of the Democrat Party in this election cycle? But you seem to be able to talk nothing but Trump, Trump, Trump. Compared to the offerings of the Democrat Party with Kerry, Gore, Clinton and Obama, Trump, or any other candidate on the Republican ticket, would be another George Washington.

Donald Trump is a textbook example of a narcissist. He’s actually is exactly what the right has been accusing Obama of being for the past 7 years. He also has a wide and growing lead over every other republican contender. Does anyone think granting this guy presidential power would be an occasion for thoughtful self-appraisal and reining in the horses?

People see him variously as a joke, a savior, or a clear and present danger. Who else would they be watching and talking about?

@Greg:

Donald Trump is a textbook example of a narcissist.

That’s pretty funny coming from someone who continuously supports the malignant narcissist currently residing at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue.

At least Donald Trump worked, built a company, provided others with jobs, and has done something productive compared to the community organizer and race baiter Marxist that has never done one damn thing to make this nation better and who only seems to know how to spend OPMs and pander to radical Islam.

@Greg: You’re finally recognizing the mimetic mirroring present in Obama vs. Bush.

The fear propagated by the media/entertainment allowed for the non-candidate Obama to win.

The reflection is allowing for Trump to win.

Get it yet?

The Devil is in the “details”….

@Rich Wheeler: I need not bandy with a witless parrot. You’ve provided nothing in regards to presenting rational thought. You’re views are a bit pre-digested.

You did suggest libs are the majority..in that Trump insures a lib victory.

And I thought you were an not-quite-troll until you starting sounding like john/greg. You serve the Republican Party well.

@Rich Wheeler: 63

Repubs. have been out to TOTALLY degrade this POTUS since inauguration day

I disagree with that RW, on the contrary, the Repubs have been attempting to raise his standards. It’s hard to do when you have to start from rock bottom.

@Nathan Blue: You are the right wing parrot N.B.–disappointing–I’d thought you a more independent thinker.
I said a Trump candidacy will lose—It won’t be just Libs that vote him down. Your support of Trump serves the Dem. Party well. Some suggest he’s a Dem plant.

btw I support Rubio/Kasich ticket for POTUS..

Well in the spirit of the thread, how do we accept the loving peaceful refugees tens of thousands and not let a few of the evil in, with the inept employees that we trust our immigration screening with?

@Rich Wheeler: 4 more years of the same old rino run corrupt crap is what you would vote for with that ticket. Amnesty, wild spending, no solutions. Rubio the most conservative democrat to vote for.

@Rich Wheeler:

As an Irishman myself I call it as I see it with my own tribe

You dragged out a tired old stereotype of the Irish painting them as being uncouth, loudmouthed drunkards. The fact that you claim to be an Irishman is not absolution of your racism, nor does it make your comment any less racist against the Irish. It is entirely possible to be racist against your own race.

@Nathan Blue:

He spreads fear and bigotry among angry, insecure, poorly educated white voters

That’s a racist, bigoted statement.

Rich is following the current leftist fad of hating the white race and trying to force fellow Caucasians into accepting their ludicrous Marxist (and racist) “White Guilt” mythology. Progressive socialist-fascists always use racism and bigotry to foster unrest and to implicate those they want to target for their militant aggressive activists to hate. Whether it’s whipping up blacks versus cops activism, racism in the form of “affirmative action,” or endowing inanimate objects with a stigma of racism, racism is simply a disingenuous tool they use to enact socialist change.

What is really twisted and perverse, is that they resort to arguments of transference to try to paint their political opponents as being “the real racists”:

Want secure borders and a sensible controlled stream of immigrants? Progressives will say you hate all immigrants especially Mexicans.

Say you want to put a temporary halt on Muslims entering the country, after fanatic Muslim Jihadists use loopholes in the system to bring in fellow Jihadists to perform terror attacks? Progressives will misreport what you say and try to make it sound like a “racist” permanent ban on Muslims. (Even when some Muslims leaders agree that the system is flawed and easily bypassed.)

Progressive fascist social change elitists all around the world (and in our own backyard) have been following this warped methodology since the creation of the progressive movement. in the Victorian period with the Fabian socialists. It is a dishonesty that we can no longer let them get away with.

I agree with you. Rich has finally come out of the closet as a the political opportunist Progressive racist.

We just need to tell them all we are white racist bigots that have the power of the vote and they will have friggin get over it, shove their destructive agenda up their progressive, rainbow colored, flag burning a$$e$

@retire05, #79:

That’s pretty funny coming from someone who continuously supports the malignant narcissist currently residing at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue.

If you can’t recognize Donald Trump as a textbook example of a flaming narcissistic personality, you obviously haven’t got clue what the term means.

Imagine my astonishment.

@Rich Wheeler: Rich, ACA was passed prior to the election by Democrats only on Christmas Eve. Republicans ran on a platform that said ACA is a loser and this is why they took back the House. Implementation of ACA, rather a small piece of it, caused 5-6 million people to loose their insurance, this the Obama lie to America came true. As far as the question of what have Republicans done after they took back the House, well slimy Harry would never bring up their legislation in the Senate so their hands where tied until they took back the Senate. As far as ACA, believe it or not it still has not been fully implemented. Wait until the group plan implementation starts. Also ACA has been repealed by the House on numerous occasions so they have done what they got elected to do. Obama has vetoed the bill on numerous occasions. Also ACA is in numerous litigation cases because of it’s unconstitutionality and has not been ruled on. It’s amazing the stories of the high rates people now pay versus what they used to pay for plans that fit them but no longer available. Tell me why a person passed child bearing age needs maternity insurance Rich?? With ACA they must have it. In my household between my wife and I we have over 70 years experience in healthcare which includes private, public both military and VA, and this includes as employees and as sales and marketing representatives as well as clinical specialist. Government managed care is by far the most inefficient model due to poor motivation by workers to perform with little consequence and an administrative process only focused on job management and NOT EFFICIENCY. In the private system efficiency is required to maintain competitiveness. Is there a better plan than ACA, from my view what was has prior is but needed to be improved versus scrapped and Obama and the Democrats only did to America. Do you honestly think Obama would pass any ACA type bill proposed by Republicans, I’ll help you there Rich, a big fat NO and he has told Republicans as much. Trump will NOT be the nominee for the Republican Party so getting all hyped about that vs Hilldabeast is a waste of gas. Hilldabeast is a known liar with blood on her hands and the polls show her trajectory going down and when the truth of her lies on Benghazi finally reach the light of day she will be even less popular. She would be the worst choice for America given the failed years of Obama. Remember his lies about ACA, shovel ready jobs to stimulate the economy, Al Qaeda, ISIS, Benghazi, not to mention he has moved racism back at least a decade due to his reactions to crimes in our country. The Iran treaty is a disaster with them already test firing missiles with nuclear delivery capability to Israel. Another gem in the Obama administration. Recently he told America that ISIS is contained with is just another demonstration of his inability to even identify our enemy let alone destroy them. Of course he believes they are a JV team of farmers and teachers so not to worry eh?? Sorry Rich but you off the mark on this one.

@Common Sense: Hours after the deal was announced, White House spokesman Josh Earnest downplayed the biggest change – a delay of the Cadillac tax – as “minimal.” But supporters of the law say they’re worried that the delay of these taxes, until after Obama leaves office, will ultimately lead to their demise
What a line of bunk this is, by delaying this tax again the rinos are screwing the party this is the tax that hits the unions the backers of Dems, so delay it so the republicans can take the hit. McConnell /Ryan and conspiritors must be making a boatload of backroom cash on this.

@Greg:

If you can’t recognize Donald Trump as a textbook example of a flaming narcissistic personality, you obviously haven’t got clue what the term means.

Obviously it is you who cannot recognize someone who is a malignant narcissist. Or are you going to tell us that you did not vote for Obama? Every speech Obama gives the most used words in his speech are “I” and “Me”. So I guess, in your damaged liberal mind, it was perfectly OK for Democrats to elect a narcissist, not once, but twice, but you hold Republicans to a higher standard.

Imagine my astonishment.

You should be astonished at how completely indoctrinated in the Socialist Kool-Aid you have become. Your mind, Greggie Goebbels, was a terrible thing to waste.

Not sure how this became about ACA—I have no opinion being well covered by the V.A for many years
Also I’ve made it clear I do not support HRC—I would only vote for her if Trump is nom. I believe many Dems feel the same way—Wrote a small ck. for Rubio last week.
Still got my Webb 2016 bumper sticker–Semper Fi

@Rich Wheeler:

Some suggest he’s a Dem plant.

And just who in the Dimocrat party do you think has enough brains to come up with that plan?

@Rich Wheeler:

I have no opinion being well covered by the V.A for many years

So you’re taking the taxpayer free ride again. The VA is supposed to be used only by vets with service connected medical problems. You haven’t mentioned your disability, is it perhaps located near the top of your head, perhaps behind your eyes?

Also I’ve made it clear I do not support HRC—I would only vote for her if Trump is nom.

backtracking again? You have always said you wouldn’t vote for HRC period, no ‘ifs or buts’.

Wrote a small ck. for Rubio last week.
Still got my Webb 2016 bumper sticker

Sticking with those losers, eh? Well at least Rubio is in the correct party for you, even those he is usually disguised as a Republican.

@Rich Wheeler: Rich, ACA was brought up by you in a response to me regarding what have Republicans done sense they assumed the Legislature and therefore I felt compelled to respond. I am covered by VA, Medicare, and my wife private carrier as she works at Pendleton for DOD. None the less, I believe ACA impacts all Americans with it’s out of control cost even though Obama lied and said it would cost less. Taxpayers pay these bills and politically the tax increase to cover these costs have been delayed until after the next Presidential election. I think both parties own this disaster but any move to improve healthcare by our legislature will be immediately squelched by Slimy Harry and Obama if necessary. I am glad you are covered under VA care. My final employment before retirement was to be a scheduler at the VA in LaJolla. I was there when the exposure of the failed VA system went public. Believe me when I tell you the system is flawed top down. I worked with employees who could have cared less about you and I are other Vets, I saw administration hide reality so they could get their bonuses, and believe me that this failure is not restricted to the identified facilities. The cure must be multi focused to include the immediate and the future. Immediate means outsourcing care and the longer term may or may not mean a hybrid of outsource and VA care. Clearly the VA and the needs of our fellow Vets do have specialization in PTSD and spinal cord injury but many types of care are common to all. Dialogue is critical for all of us Vets and I wish you and your family all the best for the Holidays!!

@Redteam: VA Iis for those who’ve served–period ask Common Sense– my health’s been great and have very rarely needed them.
Since Trump won’t get the nom I won’t be voting for HRC–you’ve said HRC won’t get nom–one of your many inaccurate predictions.

Actually it’s The Donald who is currently disguised as a Conservative with people like you buying into his carnival act.

@Rich Wheeler: re you sure you would vote for someone involved in this type of behavior?
VSA(Veterans for a strong America) is disappointed in the behavior of Senator Marco Rubio for lying about a fellow Senator and using an issue as important as national security to achieve a political objective. More often than not, Senator Rubio looks less like a serious Member of Congress, and more like John McCain’s personal Senate mini-me, parroting Gang of 8 talking points. VSA will not stand by while Senator Rubio continues to distort the strong national security record of Senator Ted Cruz.
Aww cute baby Rino?

@Redteam:

backtracking again? You have always said you wouldn’t vote for HRC period, no ‘ifs or buts’.

Come on, Redteam. You figured out a long time ago that everything Rich says has a very limited shelf life. He makes statements, then when called on them, he obfuscates, spins, fabricates, changes the subject entirely and even outright lies about what he said previously.

Of course he’ll vote for HRC if Rubio or the other RINO he’s picked is not the nominee. But remember, the left always tells you who they are afraid of and Rich is no different, being a member of the leftist tribe.

I suppose all of this serves as a distraction from Paul Ryan’s current budget deal, which can quickly be swept under the carpet, allowing GOP candidates to talk the talk without having to demonstrate the walk through the coming election year.

Is the republican-majority Congress delivering the goods they promised last election? Or did they quietly do just the opposite, in return for assorted plums for big-money special interests?

Not to worry! They’ll be in a position to fix everything, provided you give them bigger majorities, and a republican in the White House. You all know that your own concerns are their greatest concerns, and the best interests of the American public are all they really care about.

@Rich Wheeler:

VA Iis for those who’ve served–period ask Common Sense–

Not true at all. If you can prove you can’t get medical care unless you get it by VA, then \you can. otherwise you can’t. I’m a vet and I’ve asked and as long as you can get treatment without the VA, you can’t use VA. A ‘last resort, so to speak.
