DrJohn has been a health care professional for more than 30 years. In addition to clinical practice he has done extensive research and has published widely with over 70 original articles and abstracts in the peer-reviewed literature. He has been married to the same wonderful lady for over 30 years and has three kids- two sons, both of whom are attorneys and one daughter on her way into the field of education.
DrJohn was brought up with the concept that one can do well if one is prepared to work hard but nothing in life is guaranteed.
Except for liberals being foolish.
When a person is a baby he/she can’t demand where he/she is born.
When a person is a youngster he/she can’t demand how he/she is raised (by whom) or where he/she is sent to school.
BUT ADULTS can choose their own standards of life and their own actions.
So, Obama choose to waste YEARS doing drugs and ignoring educators.
All the while he was given some of the finest opportunities to get a good education.
His pricey prep school in Hawaii, his Affirmative Action admissions to Harvard, even his chance to get a decent tutor there.
But he wasted all that.
He smoked away his HS years, he was un-memorable in college, he did nothing as editor of the Harvard Review, he picked Michelle as his tutor just to get in her pants.
Obama has the liberal romanticism regarding Islam that most liberals who simply see them from a distance can afford to have, but Obama is in a position to make his romantic fantasy the basis for national public policy!
Sen. Cotton had all his illusions about Islam (if he had any) fall away in the heat of combat.
He has worked on a 6th generation family farm, cattle farm, in ARK even after Harvard and military service. He had also worked at a leading global strategic management consulting firm founded to serve senior management on problems important to them and their enterprises. Apparently he could help big businesses navigate the red tape of many gov’ts so as to succeed.
On just those areas where the two men COULD choose their ways, Sen. Cotton wins.
Sen Cotton has also demonstrated in critical situations that he can lead. Obama has yet to prove that! Community organizers are not leaders. Military officers are!

Sen Cotton seems to have hit a nerve. The twitching of the liberals has exceeded all expectations. I’m surprised there is no recall initiative in his home state.
The guy calls it as he sees it. And he has apparently read the Constitution, and comprehends our system of government.
Treason? To insist that the Constitution be followed? Negotiating with the enemy? Well, only if they ARE enemies, and OBozo thinks of them as close friends. Sending a letter to Iran? Well, actually, he did no such thing. His “to the leaders of Iran” was roughly like the Federalist “to the citizens of New York”. The letter was posted on his own Senate website.
The left is out to savage Sen Cotton, and they will fail. All they can do is dream up lies. And then repeat them, over and over again.
It is my hope that the citizens of this nation are getting sick of the lies.
The latest lie is that we must have universal voting, like Saddam Hussein had in Iraq. Remember–100% of the people voted for him. Many had to be coaxed at gunpoint, and there was only one vote: “yes”. I suppose that is what OBambi has in mind.

Tom Cotton was only a Junior in High School when colleges and universities were begging for him to pick their school.
Then, when his college-board scores came in, there was even more interest in him.
Later when he went to Harvard for 4 year college he gravitated toward these professors: Steven Ozment, Peter Berkowitz, Stephen Rosen, and Harvey Mansfield.
His grades improved to where he graduated with highest honors.
He was a regular contributor to the liberal Harvard Crimson even though he leaned conservative.
After his law degree he clerked for a judge on the Fifth Circuit. Why? He had student loans to pay off.
Obama only paid off his student loans in 2004!

Yeah, I know about the bronze star. I was curious about the circumstances of the award as I don’t recall ever reading what they were.
Don’t get me wrong. I would never discredit another veteran’s decorations and I’m certainly not doing so here, but to my mind the descriptor “war hero” suggests a selfless act of heroism rather than meritorious achievement—the difference, perhaps, between a bronze star, and a bronze star with a V device or a silver star.

Links to the President’s official birth certificate, and also his long-form birth certificate, confirmations from the state of Hawaii, a transcript of the lawsuit when a judge ruled that so-called experts who alleged the birth certificates were forged did not provide probative evidence, recollections of former students, the President’s selective service card, confirmations from military personnel that they indeed have a selective service card on file — all of that is easily retrieved and has been discussed before.

Something that nobody seems to have considered about obama’s birth certificate: He has the only SCANNED copy of a birth certificate. Why would Hawaii have someone take the time to find the book that the certificate is in, then carry it to a scanner, and scan it into a computer, and send it in PDF form? The experts were surprised that it was in the PDF format.
At that time, EVERY STATE scanned the birth certificates onto rolls called microfiche. Why didn’t Hawaii make obama’s from the microfiche? Why won’t Hawaii let Sheriff Joe see the microfiche copy? Could it be that THERE IS NO MICROFICHE film copy?
I challenge anyone to show me a SCANNED copy of ANYBODY ELSE’S birth certificate.

@rich wheeler: I wouldn’t vote for him because I disagree with him on too many positions. However, in the unlikely event he were to be elected President, I wouldn’t have an issue with it. Unlike the current occupant, I have zero doubts about his commitment to the country. He’s also more of smorgasbord as to where he stands. He’s left on some issues. Right on a couple. And libertarian on others. Obviously the latter two appeal to me but not the former. As I told you before, he won’t make it past the primaries because your party has been dragged way too far to the left by its current leadership and that’s where its base lies. Unlike the Republicans which have an establishment wing (the so called RHINO’s), a conservative wing (Tea Party wing), and a Libertarian wing (the Pauls), the dems have a left wing and that’s about it. The Blue Dogs which helped them regain control of Congress in 2006 are all but extinct save for a few like Joe Manchin.

Usually, the judges ruled that the one making the charges didn’t have legal standing to go forward with the trial.

That is why I added the last paragraph. I don’t want to go through the same stuff again, and yet Gary was the one who brought up the old stuff that the liberals wish we would quit talking about.
If everything would be reversed, and the republicans had the offices that the democrats have, and the democrats have the offices the republicans have, and everything else would be EXACTLY the same, I would still be trying to inform the public that we have a republican muslim illegal terrorist in the white house who was sent here to destroy the USA.
