Grubered: The forced sodomy of America

A new term has appeared in the American lexicon:

#Grubered

Eric Bolling described it this way:

In Bolling’s assessment, Gruber and his cohorts knew Americans would never approve of a healthcare mandate so “they lied — or let’s say they ‘Grubered’ their way into getting Obamacare passed.” He added, “No surprise here, they’re Democrats, that’s what they do.”

That’s far too gentle. Getting Grubered is far worse than simple lying. It began with one video and has absolutely erupted into a conflagration. In the first video Gruber, the architect of Obamacare, called Americans “stupid” and proudly brags that lack of transparency is a virtue. He also admits to overt deceit in the language of the bill.

The Gruber doubles down on the stupidity of the American voter

In the 3rd video Gruber talks of the “basic exploitation” of the American voter and how they lied to get rid of tax breaks for providing health care.

In the 4th video:

In this fourth video, Gruber’s language is not as stark as in three previous instances, but his suggestion that Obamacare proponents engaged in less-than-honest salesmanship remains.

“Barack Obama’s not a stupid man, okay?” Gruber said in his remarks at the College of the Holy Cross on March 11, 2010. “He knew when he was running for president that quite frankly the American public doesn’t actually care that much about the uninsured….What the American public cares about is costs. And that’s why even though the bill that they made is 90% health insurance coverage and 10% about cost control, all you ever hear people talk about is cost control. How it’s going to lower the cost of health care, that’s all they talk about. Why? Because that’s what people want to hear about because a majority of American care about health care costs.” …

In the fifth video, Gruber ridicules a person who dared ask about costs:

And here is Gruber spilling the beans- that Obama was in on the Cadillac tax deceit:

After it all hit the fan Gruber made a meek appearance on Ronan Farrow to disavow his comments:

In yet another recording, Gruber claimed that Ted Kennedy was ripping off the Federal government:

“The dirty secret in Massachusetts is the feds paid for our bill, OK? In Massachusetts, we had a very powerful Senator you may know. His name is Ted Kennedy. Ted Kennedy had basically figured out — Ted Kennedy and smart people in Massachusetts — had figured out a way to rip off the Feds for $400 million a year.”

Alan Colmes throws up another canard:

The short story is basically this: Massachusetts, since the late 1990s, had been receiving special Medicaid funds through a waiver to fund care for populations the program traditionally didn’t cover. In 2005, President George W. Bush wanted to end that funding, worth about $350 million. But Kennedy, working with Romney, put together a deal to keep the funds and then some by expanding Medicaid and providing subsidies to help low-income people purchase private insurance. The Bush administration signed off on that deal, giving us Romneycare, which then gave us Obamacare.

Irrelevant. Romneycare has been touted as a robust success and was the foundation for Obamacare. It is not a success. It is dependent on Federal subsidies for whatever success it has enjoyed. The fact is, 49 other states paid to make Massachusetts’ health care appear to be a success. From where do the funds come to bail out everyone else?

Then democrats confirmed that they were really as stupid as Gruber claimed they were as they feebly attempted to deflect attention away from Gruber’s revelations. Here’s Megyn Kelly falling into the incredulity abyss with liberal Bernard Whitman:

Nancy Pelosi sounded utterly senile as she denied knowing Gruber and denied he was the architect of Obamacare.

Here’s Gruber talking about his participation in the construction of Obamacare:

And the stupidest man in Congress, my Senator Chris Murphy, proved that becoming a Senator requires absolutely no brains whatsoever:

Murphy tweeted:

It’s sad to me that good political journalists are spending so much time on these irrelevant comments by this guy Gruber.

Jake Tapper responded:

@ChrisMurphyCT respectfully, it’s sad to me that some politicians would claim the comments are irrelevant.

Grubering is nothing less than the forced sodomy of America and Obamacare is the offspring. It is built on a foundation of lies and it was shoved up our backsides. Obama and his wretched team absolutely f*cked this country over. Now you know why Pelosi insisted the bill had to be passed to find out what was in it. We were all “Grubered” but we were not all taken in. They did bamboozle the lesser lights among us, i.e. Obama voters, and they are justifiably called “stupid” as Gruber stipulates. There is a way to respond. When a Republican takes the Presidency in 2016, the GOP Congress should lock out democrats and construct and pass a bill in the House and then the Senate with a teeny little rider that ‘we have to pass to find out what’s in it.” The teeny little rider would be the repeal of Obamacare. Obama voters could find out what’s in it after it passed.
