Obama voters dunce

“Let me say it as simply as I can: Transparency and the rule of law will be the touchstones of this presidency.”

Barack Obama, January 2009.

See him say it for yourself.

This is HUGE. It proves that Obamacare is premised on lies. And it proves more than that.

Obamacare architect Jonathan Gruber:

“This bill was written in a tortured way to make sure CBO did not score the mandate as taxes. If CBO scored the mandate as taxes, the bill dies. Okay, so it’s written to do that. In terms of risk rated subsidies, if you had a law which said that healthy people are going to pay in – you made explicit healthy people pay in and sick people get money, it would not have passed… Lack of transparency is a huge political advantage. And basically, call it the stupidity of the American voter or whatever, but basically that was really really critical for the thing to pass… Look, I wish Mark was right that we could make it all transparent, but I’d rather have this law than not.”

Here’ that video again:

So how does it feel, Obama voters? How does it feel knowing that Obama counted on you being stupid and that you came through?

Over at The Hill Elise Viebeck characterizes it this way:

“The clip is generating significant attention in conservative media.”

No shit. The question is, why isn’t all of the media interested in this?

Answer? Because they are stupid. They are useful idiots.

Candy Crowley? VERY useful idiot:

Romney: Yeah, I — I certainly do. I certainly do. I — I think it’s interesting the president just said something which is that on the day after the attack, he went in the Rose Garden and said that this was an act of terror. You said in the Rose Garden the day after the attack it was an act of terror. It was not a spontaneous demonstration.

Obama: Please proceed.

Romney: Is that what you’re saying?

Obama: Please proceed, Governor.

Romney: I — I — I want to make sure we get that for the record, because it took the president 14 days before he called the attack in Benghazi an act of terror.

Obama: Get the transcript.

Crowley: It — he did in fact, sir. So let me — let me call it an act of terrorism — (inaudible)

Obama: Can you say that a little louder, Candy? (Laughter, applause.)

Crowley: He did call it an act of terror. It did as well take — it did as well take two weeks or so for the whole idea of there being a riot out there about this tape to come out. You are correct about that.

Jeff Dunetz notes:

Indeed Romney was correct.The day after the terror attack in Benghazi, President Obama gave a Rose Garden Speech of 801 words. He mentioned the word terror once near the end of his speech but not in reference to the horrible attack.

During that brief statement, President Obama referred to Benghazi as; An attack on our diplomatic post in Benghazi; this outrageous and shocking attack; attack; terrible act. Obama called the people who perpetuated the attack “the killers who attacked our people.” He did not call them terrorists.

Crowley rescued Obama and the lie that night and then CBS sat on the exposé. The result was that Mitt Romney was made to look foolish and both Crowley and CBS were accomplices in the malfeasance and quite possibly changed an election.

Obama counted on them being both dishonest and stupid and they came through.

Matt Lauer, another stupid Obama useful idiot:

Opposing the President’s policy is not a policy.

Yeah, Matt, it is when it’s all based on lies.

You Obama supporters- you can’t say you weren’t warned. We warned you repeatedly:

Why you’re an idiot to believe anything Barack Obama says

More of why you’re an idiot to believe anything Obama says

Barack Obama is the biggest liar ever to stain the Presidency of the US

Barack Obama Is A Big Fat Liar

And, of course:

DrJohn’s Law

Whatever Obama says is a lie. The opposite is the truth.

You voted for Obama? You are stupid. They knew it. A lot of us knew it. And now you know that not only are you stupid, you get to know that your hero, your god, knows you’re stupid.

This video proves one more thing:

The press is a ass

Obama could never have pulled this off without a docile, compliant and yes, stupid media.

Just business as usual for the demo-COMMUNIST party — has been since 1960! – or some would say since 1932

You supported Obama. He knew you were stupid. He counted on you being stupid. He was right.

Which was precisely why the founders were against creating a democracy. They knew that rabble-rousers, liars and thieves could fool the public into voting against their best interests and put corrupt schemers con-artists and despots in power. “A sucker is born every minute.” Which is why the Democratic party has become what it is.

oMuslim, from the beginning, fooled his lazy, stupid, and often dishonest followers into believing that they’d get “something for nothing” by voting for him. The Democrat party, of course, has been fooling their ever dumber voter base into believing in this since FDR. The mental and criminal make up of many Dem voters is such that they’re more than happy follow the Dem party’s agenda of stealing from others what they promise to give to them.

Meanwhile, the rest of us are mature, intelligent, and honest enough to realize that there are no edible “free” lunches. And nor are we interested in receiving any “ill-gotten” gains that some slimy mouthed politician has stolen from others. Thus, we strive to vote on the principles of integrity and “job” qualifications. Sometimes we get this right, and sometimes we don’t. But the fact is that I have never ever voted for someone as means of getting something for nothing. Very few hard core Democrat voters can honestly say the same.

This is the difference between us and the lazy, stupid, and often dishonest hard core Democrat voters.

Soon the usual hard left suspects will be by to blame Fox news, Koch brothers, etc. They simply cannot be honest about it.

One obvious solution to the main stream media problem is to discontinue subscribing to their papers, magazines, news programs, etc. They will die from lack of sponsorships. I stopped reading the liberal Charlotte rag years ago when the editor opined that they would start publishing homosexual unions, ‘as it was the right thing to do’! Wrong!

Where is BEES WAR ZONE when we really need her? She is missed.

One obvious solution to the main stream media problem is to discontinue subscribing to their papers, magazines, news programs, etc. They will die from lack of sponsorships.

I stopped using the MSM as a news source nearly 2 decades ago due to its endless liberalism and outright dishonesty (I occasionally pick-up the local newspaper for the classified vehicle sales section).

My wife and I also avoid businesses that openly support EBT public assistance patrons and/or the hiring of non-English speaking “workers” (we do our own yard work and the vast majority of our house repairs). We also avoid politically polluted Pro Sports and, when possible, the businesses that sponsor such “bread and circus” ghetto ball baloney.

Our greatest power is how we use our TV remotes, our computer mice, our feet, and (most importantly) how and where we use our wallets.

I wonder how long it is going to take for folks to wake up to how he is pushing us towards a global Caliphate, an Ummah ruled by Shariah/Islamic law?
Every politician in office and those running for office, no matter if it is for school board, mayor, town/city council, county supervisor, state/national House/Senate or for president need to answer this national security question: “Is the Muslim Brotherhood in North America (MB) (Ikhwan) our friend or foe? Please provide me with links to the source material that provides you with your view(s).”
The plan the Muslim Brotherhood wrote to destroy us was presented as evidence in the 2007 Holy Land Foundation trial and was uncontested by defense during trial and during the appeals process however, neither the House nor Senate will hold hearings on it! This is a gross violation of their Oath of Office, the Constitution, especially the preamble, along with Article I, Section 8, Clause 1 BOTH requiring them to “provide for common defense” of this nation. You can buy a copy of their plan to destroy America at Amazon for only $5.00 An Explanatory Memorandum: From the Archives of the Muslim Brotherhood in America or, you can read an online copy here at Center for Security Policy website.

@FMB42:

One obvious solution to the main stream media problem is to discontinue subscribing to their papers, magazines, news programs, etc.

While cancelling your subscription to a publication is a good idea, don’t buy it on the newsstand either. But subscriptions, and newsstand sales are just a small percentage of the media outlet’s income. Most income comes from advertising.

So there are steps to take and it goes like this:

1) call the advertiser and tell them you will no longer be shopping with them because of the liberal bias in the media outlet. If you have a credit card from that business, cancel it.
2) cancel your media outlet subscription and don’t buy any newsstand copies.

Advertising rates are based on circulation, both subscription and newsstand sales. When circulation goes down, the advertising space is not worth as much as it was because it doesn’t reach as large an audience and advertising prices will drop to compensate for lower reader/viewership. That means lower revenue for the media outlet. It is a double edged sword.

If every conservative in the U.S. refused to support newspapers like the NYSlimes, the Houston Chronicle, the Fort Worth Star Telegram, the Chicago Tribune, the Washington Post, and their advertisers suffered due to the bias of those publications the publications would have two choices; change their biased reporting practices or go out of business.

When I was in college, I saw the left was so easily led by those who told them so many lies. The SDS was comprised of those who are now considered low information voters. They were sold an idea which they embraced. What they never have understood to this day is that it is personal values that make ideas viable, not talk!

@Mully:

Soon the usual hard left suspects will be by to blame Fox news, Koch brothers, etc. They simply cannot be honest about it.

Usually they leave nothing to “suspect”

“The clip is generating significant attention in conservative media.”

No shit. The question is, why isn’t all of the media interested in this?

Answer? Because they are stupid. They are useful idiots.

Actually, the answer is that they knew this all along and, because liberal Obama did it, it was OK. The fact that a liberal lied is not exactly news and the fact that Obama lies needs to be covered up.

While much was made of the faulty predictions and projections in the 2012 election, the mistakes were understandable; no President should have been reelected with such a dismal record of failure. While I felt confident Romney would win, I also felt uneasy because the entirety of the MSM was covering for Obama and remaking his record to his specification. The unknown factor was, indeed, just how “stupid” the American public was. Voting for him once, in the midst of a horrific economic meltdown blamed on the administration in charge is somewhat understandable, with his lack of any record to hold against him and his “hope and change” rainbows and unicorns fantasies. However, with a record of utter failure and no positive accomplishments, how could he possibly win a second term? Why, with the aid and abetting of the MSM, of course.

Even in this midterm, I worried as to how little the public would be aware of the failure of the liberal agenda, but apparently this go-round, reality is too obvious and predominant for the MSM to overcome with rainbows and unicorns.

This media is just as responsible for all the harm done to the nation over the past 6 years as is Obama himself. He would not be without them. Too bad that cannot be declared a criminal act.

@Mully:
Not likely; Greg, This one, Larry, Dick Spinner, etc., tend to ignore hard stories like this one, while puking their intellectual bile all over soft, social issue posts.

Besides, their already entrenched positions regarding Obama prove the point of the article; they are all a bunch of idiots and fools. No-one like to admit being a fool.

@Ditto: Democracy sucks. Why should we trust black or brown skinned people. What the hell were we thinking when we allowed women to vote? Raise the minimum voting age back to at least 25–the youth know nothing. The poor are looking for free stuff–deny them the vote. God fearing Christians move to the front.
Working and self sufficient white males should be making the decisions on who should govern this great nation.

ObamaCare was put together by the Senate and pushed through the House without ANYONE reading it.
The ”stupid” American voter had nothing to do with it.
I can’t recall any poll that proved a vast majority of American VOTERS were ”for” ObamaCare.
I think it was pushed through by a Dem Pres, Senate and House when they could because, stupid or not, the voting public would never have agreed to it had it been on a ballot.
Who were the stupid ones?
Elected officials, but not every one of them…..
Not any Republicans.
Not ONE Republican in House or Senate voted for ObamaCare.
ObamaCare became law because Democrats passed a bill without debating it or even reading it.

@DrJohn: We certainly do.

@Rich Wheeler:

Care to explain why you linked that bull crap to my post?

You think the electorate that voted for the community organizer in chief is stupid, take a look at our Senator from AZ, McCain who just gave an interview to Salon. Solon the mag that has brilliant contributors like David Masciotra who slipped back into the 60s hatred of our servicemen/women.

@Ditto: You said “founders were against creating a Democracy.” Rabble rousers and such.

@Rich+Wheeler:

You said “founders were against creating a Democracy.”

Read your history on the creation of our Constitution. The founders were absolutely against the creation of a Democracy.

Rabble rousers and such.

So, is it now your opinion then that blacks and women are nothing but “rabble-rousers”? Are you reverting back to the past pro-KKK Democrat party beliefs and agenda?

You certainly can not be pointing your #14 post at anything I said, as I have never ever expressed any support of such statements. Take your Alinsky tactics to the Daily Kos or Huffington Post where they will be appreciated.

@Rich+Wheeler: You seem to have a low opinion of these groups of people. Otherwise, you would not have jumped to your conclusion based on what Ditto posted. Actually, any are capable of making wise decisions and quality leadership. We simply have to be on the lookout for those that are unscrupulous liars and incompetents.

Those who continually lie about their own achievements and goals and blame all their mistakes and failures on everyone else should be avoided at all costs. Obama was propped up as a candidate because he had no record (unlike the miserable records or Gore and Kerry) and, thus, nothing to use against him but for his lack of experience in practically every field required to lead our nation. That really should have been a dead give away. Then, his record of failure from 2009 till 2012 should have set off alarms throughout the electorate, but the MSM did an excellent job of redirecting all the attention to “racism” and the “war on women”, neither of which exists outside the DNC.

So, don’t write off all women or people of color; just liberal ones. They seem to cause all the problems.

If you really want to know why our Founders opted for a Representative Republic instead of a pure Democracy, then you should go ask Socrates.

@DrJohn: I never said they did.
It’s all the lamestream media’s fault, continuing to deluge the unwashed masses with lies. If only we could have left important decisions of state in the hands of principled white men like our founders.

HAPPY VETERANS DAY TO ALL WHO SERVED
To Curt, Skooks, Marine72—Semper Fi

@Rich+Wheeler:

left important decisions of state in the hands of principled white men like our founders

FIFY

Obamacare architect Jonathan Gruber has seen the outpouring of vitriol about his videotaped remarks.
So, he apologized……for those remarks being said while a camera was rolling.

@Rich+Wheeler:

I’m not a Marine, but with deepest respect, Semper Fi!

Plain and simple, if you supported o-blamacare the architect is telling you your stupid!! Greggie will love this one. Of course he will blame Republicans like Romney or Bush, count on it!!

@drjohn: Thank you Dr.John.
Coming from you that is deeply appreciated.
I think you and I share an appreciation for classic rock. I believe music is a way to bring folks together. Good health to you and your family.

Doc AKA Common Sense Keep fighting the good fight–I follow your posts–don’t agree with much lol

@Common+Sense: It was Bush’s fault that the demo-commies and the MSM had to go after him 24/7 for 8 years — after that who can blame most of the American voters for acting ‘stupidly’ ?

@common sense#29 – Haven’t noticed the ‘residents’ around…not that I have been looking….just haven’t noticed…

and you are probably right… they are so entrenched…they….must… blame…some… one…

SAD.

@Common+Sense: I never said that. I believe all citizens of voting age should have the right to an equal say in how our Democratic Republic is run. Don’t you?

@Richard+Wheeler: I am in total agreement. My point is that if you talk about one color as not being treated equal and blame another color for it, it’s biased. To me it’s like a pendulum, if you lean in one direction you lean away from the other. Race, color of skin (brown, black, green, or white), should NOT be a part of any discussion of equality. I may be white and old but I refuse to be blamed for the failure of anyone else to NOT exercise their right as a citizen to vote. If they are not a citizen or in our country illegally then I refuse to support their right to vote or even be in our country.

One more example of Gruber calling people stupid. The funny part about all of this is that the people he is referring to are those who supported Obamacare, i.e. Obama’s sheep, and it just doesn’t seem to have sunk in to them. Could it be that they are too stupid to realize it? A match made in heaven.

http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2014/11/12/another-tape-surfaces-obamacare-architect-calling-american-people-stupid/

@Richard+Wheeler:

I believe all citizens of voting age should have the right to an equal say in how our Democratic Republic is run.

We are not a Democratic Republic. We are a Representative Republic. Learn the difference.

@retire05: Semantics and interpretation are involved. We are a Republic because power is held by the people and their elected representatives–and we have an elected or nominated Prez. rather than a monarch.
We are a Democracy in that The House and Senate are elected directly by the people.
We are a Democratic Republic or a Representative Democratic Republic.
There is no claim here that we are a pure Democracy–we are not.

de·moc·ra·cy noun A system of government by the whole population or all the eligible members of a state, typically through elected representatives.

That definition is applicable to the United States. The terms republic and democracy are not opposite in meaning, nor mutually exclusive. The government of the United States was specifically designed by its founders to embody both concepts, despite what some self-proclaimed experts on the far right might claim. Our republican government is democratic in nature. That’s not a contradiction. It’s how things are supposed to be.

@Greg: Concur
I always find it strange how the radical right recoil from the word Democracy like it was a carrier of the plague.

@Richard Wheeler:

We are a Democratic Republic or a Representative Democratic Republic.

Maybe you would like to show where some of the Founders used those terms? Madison? Jefferson? Adams?

By definition, a republic is a representative form of government that is ruled according to a charter, or constitution, and a democracy is a government that is ruled according to the will of the majority. Although these forms of government are often confused, they are quite different. The main difference between a republic and a democracy is the charter or constitution that limits power in a republic, often to protect the individual’s rights against the desires of the majority. In a true democracy, the majority rules in all cases, regardless of any consequences for individuals or for those who are not in the majority on an issue.

We have a bicameral legislature with both Houses elected directly by the voters–not originally the case with the Senate direct election coming with passage of the 17th Amendment—Democracy
An Executive Branch—electoral college
Judicial Branch Nominated and Confirmed
Checks and balances to keep any one from being to powerful
Democratic Republic is what it is and what the Founders intended it to be though they did not anticipate passage of the 17th Amendment providing direct Democratic election of U.S. Senators

@Richard+Wheeler:

We are a Democratic Republic or a Representative Democratic Republic.

Again, show where those terms were ever used by the Founders.

@retire05: We are currently a Democratic Republic or a Representative Democratic Republic. Ratification of the 17th Amendment solidified this definition.

@Richard+Wheeler:

You’re dodging again, RW.

Show me where the Founders used those terms.

@retire05: It matters not what terms the founders used. Ratification of the 17TH Amendment–the direct election of Senators– solidified Democratic Republic. Thought by now you would have at least shown their use of “Representative Republic.”

@Richard+Wheeler:

Still dodging, I see.

@retire05: My answer is crystal clear in #47. You’re dodging.

@Richard+Wheeler:

It matters not what terms the founders used.

You only say that because you don’t have an answer,

I understand you are trying to twist out of answering, but I am not one of your brain dead stoner liberals from California. Nice try, bad dodge.
