First and foremost, I want the American people to know that our experts, here at the CDC and across our government, agree that the chances of an Ebola outbreak here in the United States are extremely low.
It’s hard to believe what has gone down since.
Ebola is a Biosafety Level Four Pathogen. That’s as dangerous as it gets. The use of positive pressure suits is highly recommended when handling the Ebola virus, Ebola victims or any wrappings with which they come into contact, including bed sheets and refuse. What most don’t know is that specific protocols are required not only for contact with Ebola victims but in the removal of the biohazard suits as well.
Despite being assured by Obama and Tom Frieden, the Obama appointed hack who runs the CDC, all is not well.

The hospital that treated Ebola victim Thomas Eric Duncan had to learn on the fly how to control the deadly virus, adding new layers of protective gear for workers in what became a losing battle to keep the contagion from spreading, a top official with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention said Tuesday.
“They kept adding more protective equipment as the patient Duncan deteriorated. They had masks first, then face shields, then the positive-pressure respirator. They added a second pair of gloves,” said Pierre Rollin, a CDC epidemiologist.
The nurses at Texas Health Presbyterian have complained that they were not adequately trained or equipped to handle Ebola.
And they are right. This is not something you learn to deal with on the fly.
The second it was apparent that Duncan had Ebola the CDC should have immediately flown to Dallas, quarantined the patient and isolated everyone around him AND properly outfitted the health care workers. Instead, the feckless Frieden and the uber-feckless Obama continued to reassure the country that this was just another day on the links. They should have been aggressive right from the beginning. They should have had the “SWAT team” ready immediately.
This horse is out of the barn. Let’s hope it can be caught. Obama says:

I am not, especially since Obama said it. Obama has already seeded the country with Enterovirus D 68 in his illegal alien wards. CDC Gave Latest US Ebola Patient OK to Fly With Slight Fever
Vinson, the second nurse to contract Ebola in the United States, was flown to Atlanta for treatment on Wednesday. She was diagnosed with Ebola late Tuesday and had been monitoring her health and reporting her temperature to CDC epidemiology teams routinely, according to Dallas NBC affiliate NBCDFW-TV5.
In fact, she called the CDC several times before boarding the plane concerned about her fever, according to a report from CBS News Medical Correspondent Dr. John LaPook.
“This nurse, Nurse Vinson, did in fact call the CDC several times before taking that flight and said she has a temperature, a fever of 99.5 — and the person at the CDC looked at a chart and because her temperature wasn’t 100.4 or higher, she didn’t officially fall into the category of high risk,” he said.
Vinson was among as many as 70 medical practitioners treating Thomas Eric Duncan at Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital in Dallas.

Actually the CDC is not the expert in communicable diseases. There is more expertise at Fort Detrick, MD. They study how to defeat bioweapons. I have actually been through their facilities evaluating the ventilation systems and personal protective clothing and equipment they use during experiments with communicable diseases with the potential for use in war. These people have their stuff together. This administration has failed to tap the most proficient expertise in the government because the president has appointed so many individuals to cabinet and other critical positions that do not know what they are doing. The sign of a good leader is how he reacts during crisis. This president has failed every test!

The nurses and doctors took the normal procedures for run of the mill infectious diseases which we now know is not sufficient when dealing with Ebola. Nor would the hospital staff have psychic powers to have known or even suspected that this patient out of so many had been exposed to Ebola.
Stop blaming the nurse for not being a doctor, and put the blame and responsibility where it belongs, which is the doctors over the case for not warning their staff of what symptoms to watch for to determine if they might have been affected, the ignorant and now dead patient for getting on a plane in the first place, and the Obama administration and CDC who were warned about the dangers of continuing flights to America from people coming from a medical outbreak region.

Folks, I read your comments avidly and only rarely post, as I do not have the political acument of any of you. I do however, have a bit of a medical background and a degree of common sense. So I put this out to you.
What if Barry really is the Manchurian president? How does a non entity like him- with what, 143 votes of “present” in his limited tenure as senator, get to be president? I do recognize the sheer stupidity of many of our illustrious young, who voted for ” the black guy” and those who did a strike suit against the GOP after W. But what I really, truly, don’t get is how the hell this community organizer was able to beat the Clinton Machine and get elected. Who was grooming him for so long? Who is his guru? Who is giving him his marching orders- because an emptier suit could rarely be found. Yes, he is smart and eloquent with a TelePrompTer, but seriously, who is really behind this guy??
