While I like Allan West quite a bit, he stands inside an elitist party, the Republican Party.
I doubt this elitist party will allow non-elitists to run at the national level.
Maybe the party might allow a few to run on state levels, but that’s not going to be enough.
The Liberal Elite is just as bad as the Republican Elite.
We’ve seen the Republican Elite hold Republican Party funding back from non-elites in their party.
So, maybe it’s time for a non-elite party at the national level.

@Nanny G: Completely agree. I’ve been saying for years that America’s two biggest problems are our one party system with two wings, and a media that protects them. Honestly, if the choice is between Jeb and Hillary next time I either will not vote or will vote third party. This insanity has to stop.

The origin of the GOP was A. Lincoln separating it from the original Democrat-Republican party. Apparently, the now corrupted GOP has subsequently re-fused with the unprincipled Democrat party, to yield the GOP of today. The two parties are now back to the way they were just before the Civil War: Two horns on the head of the same goat. I hope that it won’t take yet another civil war to return this nation to the principles of its founding. For sure, it’s going to take a man with the principles of Col. West to return her back to greatness. If Colonel ‘I-would-carry-a-gasoline-can-through-hell-for-my-men’ West would only run, he would win. Colonel West, you now have a much higher calling. Please run, and restore our country to what it was meant to be. As you pledged to your men, good men shall likewise rise, and do for you.

If UKIP beats all the elitists (Conservative Party, Labor Party and Green Party) it will be historic.
