It’s very clear now that the White House orchestrated the big lie about Benghazi- that the attacks were the result of a video. It’s the bullsh*t coming out of the mouth of Jay Carney that leaves you incredulous.
Yesterday the White House defended the Benghazi emails:
The Obama administration Wednesday said recently released emails on the 2012 Benghazi attacks reflected what officials “understood to be the facts at the time.”
“In the email [deputy national security adviser Ben] Rhodes makes clear that our primary goals included making sure our people in the field were protected and bringing those responsible for the attacks to justice,” Bernadette Meehan, National Security Council spokeswoman, said in a statement. “The content reflects what the administration was saying at the time and what we understood to be the facts at the time.”
No it’s not, but we’ll revisit that again soon.
And on the very same day Jay Carney said those emails that they had insisted were about Benghazi weren’t ever about Benghazi at all:
“The email and the talking points were not about Benghazi,” Carney said. “They were about the general situation in the Muslim world.”
Again- on the same day, Bernadette Meehan, National Security Council spokeswoman:

Carney lies, repeatedly. He says it was the “best information we had at the time” but that is an absolute, outright lie.

When MSNBC says “gee, you know, there is something to this Benghazi thing, you know the White House has a problem.
After months of denying any politicization of the Benghazi talking points, Wagner felt compelled to agree. “And isn’t there something to be said about just wearing the scarlet letter?” she said smilingly. “As Glenn points out, this was a few weeks before a presidential election.”
“Yes, there was a practical reality that this was happening six weeks before an election,” she noted, “and also any administration wants to convey control.”
Indeed. And within in that statement are the grounds for impeachment. The press knows it has been lied to and it’s on record. Let’s see if they pursue this properly.

2. Benghazi was a terrorist attack that resulted from pathetic Obama administration foreign policy. Despite months of requests by the US Ambassador for increased security – denied by SecState Clinton – the Obama Administration actually REDUCED the amount of security in the montbs prior to the attack. Despite the Obama admin knowing it was a terrorist attack, which lasted 8 hours and where the terrorist enemy used mortars and RPGs, no rescue or counterattack was ordered despite available US forces and while an unarmed drone was in the sky monitoring the situation. Obama was not in the situation room during this attack – per the testimony of the “Dude, that was like 2 years ago” guy – while our Ambassador, another state department civilian, and two special ops trained security personnel were murdered by islamic terrorists. Based on White House visitor logs, Obama appears to have been doing debate prep while a US diplomatic compound was under attack – for 8 hours. The email written by Rhodes the day after the terrorist attack, (he is the brother of the head of CBS news, btw) which was released last week, instructed administration spokesmen to say that the attack was due to a “spontaneous protest” over a video critical of islam, and not due to “a failure of policy”. As pointed out in a previous answer to you, Greg, of the 38 other protests over the video, at no other location were mortars and RPGs used to attack US diplomatic compounds, nor were US diplomatic personnel murdered. The scandal is that multiple members of the Obama administration lied in pushing this bogus protest over a video propaganda as political damage control less than 2 months before the 2012 election, and the dems have stonewalled all attempts at getting to the truth and holding the appropriate people responsible.
3. The IRS scandal: More disgusting democrat stonewalling to avoid investigating the political attack on conservative groups by the IRS, heavily involving Lois Lehrner, a democrat political hack with a long history of left wing chicanery. She has exercised her 5th Amendment right AGAINST SELF RECRIMINATION. If one has done nothing wrong, then why does one need to use the right not to self-incriminate, Greg? We know that over 200 conservative non profits were harassed by the IRS and hamstrung in their attempts to obtain tax exempt status, thus severely impairing their ability to accept donations prior to the 2012 elections. A review of the documents so far obtained shows that less than 10 leftist political groups applying for tax exempt status were evaluated for further investigation, and IIRC all of them were fast tracked for approval while conservative applications were delayed beyond the election. Furthermore, it appears that the ranking democrat on the committee trying to investigate this scandal illegally interacted with the IRS in harassing the woman heading the organization True the Vote. That claim is still under investigation.
4. Fast and Furious: What else in there to say when the Attorney General of the United States is declared in contempt of Congress because internal DOJ departmental emails prove Holder perjured himself when he claimed a false date of when he first learned of this highly dubious program? Add to that the murder of a US border guard by a mexican drug cartel thug who used one of the walked over weapons from the idiotic F&F program. Why does Holder still have that job?

I am no fan of Christie, but the juxtaposition of Christie firing his employee who seems to have initiated a highway lane closure versus the fact that Obama has held no one accountable for any of these obvious abuses of power and derelictions of duty – for which 2 of the above dem scandals led to the deaths of Americans – reveals with astounding clarity the vast difference in integrity and trustworthiness between republicans and democrats.

1. Fast and Furious. Supposedly, Obama had nothing to do with Fast and Furious. Personally, I think it was a scheme to make the gun problem originating in the United States appear far worse than it actually is, particularly since the administration and other anti-2nd Amendment liars had been grossly misrepresenting the amount of weapons in Mexico that were sold in the U.S., but it was Holder’s little party. That is, until Obama came to his hapless friend’s aid and declared the F & F documents demanded by Congress protected by executive privilege. Now, executive privilege protects things executive, not Justice, so why did Obama step off into that? Now, he IS involved… but he doesn’t care. He doesn’t care about rules or the law.
2. Deepwater Horizon. Why did Obama grant waivers to BP, absolving them of abiding by important safety features (which sure would have come in handy) and then blame Gulf exploration and production for the problem? The only drilling operations that blow out seem to be those that exchange campaign contributions for safety regulations.
3. IRS. Beyond any shadow of a doubt, the IRS specifically targeted conservative groups seeking tax free status. Now, Greg, what usually indicates a lie is when the excuses change repeatedly. Recall, at first, it WAS a scandal, so designated by Mr. Obama himself. Then, suddenly, it didn’t matter anymore. Then it was a couple of rouge Cincinnati IRS employees. Then, liberals got investigated, too (the ratio of liberal to conservative groups investigated was obscenely lopsided and of those audited, 100% was conservative. It turns out the acting director visited the White House about 150 times during these incidents of harassment, with many coordinating closely with specific audits and investigations. Personal information collected by the IRS was turned directly over to Democrat campaigns. Lerner has claimed the 5th while proclaiming she did nothing wrong (not wanting to self-incriminate herself with innocence). Again, if nothing wrong was done (obviously it was), then why stonewall and refuse documents? If Obama did not direct this harassment, he hinted he wanted it done or, failing that, it happened due to the atmosphere of disregard for the law and “the ends justifying the means” established by Obama, his attitude, his arrogance and his campaign style.
4. Obamacare. By any measure, the greatest travesty put over on the American people in history. It was lied about to achieve passage and lied about to roll it out to the public. It has failed at every turn, its head kept above water only by the disregard for the very law he had passed by Obama himself. It is a massive, expensive and destructive fraud perpetrated on the American people and a scandal by ANY measure.
5. Benghazi. Ah, Benghazi. While Hillary was doing… what, exactly?… Stevens was fretting over increasing signs of terror threats, asking for and being denied increased security and support. While Obama was bragging about wiping out al Qaeda, al Qaeda was preparing to attack on the insignificant day of September 11. What a shock. As the attack commenced, first things first, Obama and Hillary get their cover stories straight. Then, Obama goes to bed, to be rested up for another session of money-hauling and Hillary just went to bed. No thoughts of those fighting for their lives and, ultimately, giving them up for us. The only thing that mattered was getting reelected in order to complete the destruction already commenced. So, despite every knowledgeable intelligence officer in the loop proclaiming the attack to be a terrorist attack, Hillary, Obama and the White House decide to imagine up a tale of a protest over an obscure video the winner in the excuse lottery. Now, as I stated above, the mark of a good lie is how the excuses change rapidly, hoping to find the one that will stick. Documents now definitively reveal a coordinated conspiracy to replace the facts of a policy failure with the arbitrary act of silly, impetuous youth. Yeah, right. So, to cover up the ineptitude of an incompetent White House and State Department, a lie was perpetrated upon the American people to save a campaign teetering on a failing economy, sputtering Obamacare and multiple foreign policy failures. Further, they are now withholding evidence that has been legally demanded and illegally altering the evidence which it turned over. Why? In an effort to hid nothing?
If, Greg, you would watch the news instead of far left cheerleaders, you would be aware of some of this. You have no one but yourself to blame for your willful ignorance.

As far as your characterization of not being factual, it is hardly surprising a leftist would deny the facts, given the propensity for leftists to say – under oath no less – such deceitful things as: “Well it depends on what the definition of ‘is’ is”, and refusing to.admit the obvious truth of one’s actions until DNA obtained from a semen stain conclusively proved the leftist was lying.

The fact that evidence can’t be found isn’t evidence of a cover up. It might mean that there’s no evidence to be found. Regarding failure to cooperate, stonewalling, or whatever we prefer to call it, it’s apparent to any unbiased observer that republicans are out to get Obama and members of his administration by any means possible. Republican investigative committees are one of the mechanisms they’re using. They’re looking for anything and everything that can be used to that end, and making serious allegations whenever something can simply be construed as a possible indication of negligence or wrongdoing. It’s simply a replay of the tactics they used against Bill Clinton.
So, why should we expect any rational man to cheerfully cooperate with his own lynch mob? I’d frustrate them at every opportunity. I’d make them look like idiots as often as possible. They’re conducting endless fishing expeditions. They’re going to pull every loose thread, however trivial, hoping something eventually unravels, exactly as they did with Clinton. They’d be pawing through his sock drawer and reading his daughters’ private diaries if they could get away with it. Incriminating evidence or the proof the regime needs to redeem itself is written within the emails; apparently, if the regime is innocent, they prefer to waste time and fulfill the entire allotted period of Obama’s presidency with charges and accusations, rather than proving their innocence. If however, they are guilty, and the public is becoming more and more weary of the regimes obfuscation and stonewalling, and thus they becoming more skeptical of the regimes actions and intent, the same tactics can be used to run out the clock.
Oh. the possibility of an impotent and lame duck presidency in the next few months becomes more likely with each day as the president refuses to provide the documents in question. He can’t reveal the truth without having his presidency collapse.
The media and even members of the elite collectivists are asking, “When do I bail? Do I want to ride this ship to the bottom?” Media organizations without the support of one per centers are facing financial disaster if they are exposed as phony propagandists and little more than criminals for maintaining a false narrative under the banner of news.
Conservatives watch with mild interest as the media struggles to remain relevant by trying to support buffoons like Carney as he tries desperately to justify lies with more lies, and the president’s support dwindles with each absurd lie being spun. Oh, the opportunities will be there in the ashes for new media to arise like the Phoenix. Media that is committed to presenting an unbiased account, now that the old media has jumped the shark and exposed their bias and resultant perversion of the truth.

The email PROVES he was lying under oath regarding a government program that resulted in the murder of a US Border Patrol Officer. He has been charged with contempt of Congress – yet because people like you are so hyperpartisan and lacking any integrity whatsoever you refuse to demand actual justice. Why is Holder still the AG? Why does he still have a law license after being proven to have perjured himself? Notice the date on the Rhodes email….14 Sep 2012 – three full days after the attack. He explicitly says to push the spontaneous protest over a video, “not a failure of policy” meme. If you read through all the recently released emails that Judicial Watch finally received via the FOIA lawsuit, it was referred to as a terrorist attack by various officials on the 12th of September. Penetta even admitted on 27 September that it was known within 24 hours of the attack to have been a pre-meditated terrorist attack and not a spontaneous protest to a bogus video. So why, Greg, was Susan Rice sent out 5 days AFTER the attack to push the lying propaganda that this was all due to a bogus video when multiple different DEMOCRATS are on record admitting they knew the video had nothing to do with this less than 24 hours after the attack?

I like the term, “hildabeast”. It sounds so fitting. What she said was basically that since it has been over a year sine it happened, “…at this point….” what difference does it make why the people are dead? I guess it is one of those situations where you get to believe what you want to believe, and I get to believe what I want to believe. You get to believe EVERYTHING your propaganda media tells you to believe, but I even question what Fox News and the conservative blogs say, until I have enough FACTS to either believe them, or doubt them.
One good example is when Glenn Beck condemned Bundy for the racial things he said about blacks. When I first heard Glenn condemn Bundy, I wanted more FACTS before I decided whether to hate Bundy or not. I didn’t have enough FACTS yet.
Glenn had to apologize later for believing the new york times story on what Bundy said. As usual, it was found out that the new york times edited what Bundy had said to make it sound racist. If you listen to Bundy’s entire comment, you can tell it wasn’t racist. You can do, “a quick google search” to find the article, IF YOU WANT TO.
The prime minister took only 20 seconds to realize he wasn’t reading his speech. You are still defending a president that evidently doesn’t rehearse his speeches before he reads them off of his TOTUS, and doesn’t even know when he is reading someone else’s speech, not even when he thanks himself for being there.
KEEP IN MIND THAT HE HAD READ THE CORRECT SPEECH THAT MORNING, but he read the prime minister’s speech all the way through WITHOUT KNOWING IT.
I’m guessing that trolls like you are not supplying links to your stories so that we will spend unknown time looking for something that a lot of times isn’t there. As I have mentioned before, I am retired, and can spend as much time as I want on anything I want, and sometimes, when I search for links to stories you or others mentioned, I actually find more stories that show how obama is lying about more stuff.
If I do a fact check, aren’t I relying on others? The Internet can be used to find the truth, or to help spread a lie. This is why I say that I need a lot more FACTS on things I learn before I decide what I believe about them. Even if it comes from people I trust, I have found out that sometimes they are wrong.

If this is true, then the video couldn’t have had anything to do with the attack at Benghazi. Until we know how many hits there were BEFORE Benghazi, we can’t say either way if it had anything to do with the attack, except that ALL of the officials who were there, and the high ranking military officials said it was a terrorist attack, and did not spread from a demonstration. As I have said different times, I think our government has been infiltrated, with the purpose of destroying the USA as it is now. When you consider all of the federal agencies that are not acting like they should be, and actually encouraging the muslim religion, it is hard for me to believe that our government is trying to keep America the free country it is now. They have let him change the obamacare bill in any way that will HELP the democrats get elected, but laws can only be changed by congress.
Why did the republicans allow the government to take over General Motors and Chrysler, when it is illegal for the government to own any business? Why did the republicans allow obama to put a requirement on Chrysler to close ALL the dealerships who hadn’t donated to obama for them to get a loan? Why did the republicans allow obama to give more stock to the union than the ones who invested in the company, so that the union had more say than the ones who invested money in GM? FYI, Chrysler is now owned by Fiat. The government spent billions of dollars to save Chrysler so they could sell it to a FOREIGN company.
The way we have our campaign system set up allows the ones with the most money to donate the most money to candidates, who then rely on that money for their next election, and with each donation comes more changes the donor wants.

A long time ago, when the news media actually reported THE NEWS, they said that there is a law that says that whatever the IRS says you owe, you have to prove that you don’t owe it if you disagree on the amount. The IRS has told individuals who bought a business at a certain price, that the business SHOULD HAVE SOLD FOR A HIGHER PRICE, and the IRS taxes them on the amount the IRS said it should have sold for. Even if an honest person gets elected, the problem comes when they run for REELECTION, and their opponent has lots of money from wealthy people, organizations, and companies, who want that person to do certain things for them, and that person agrees to. The honest politician won’t get donations from any person, organization, or company that the honest politician won’t agree to the terms of the donations. Since they won’t have much money to campaign with, unless someone donates to them because they want an honest politician in office, that honest candidate can’t get their message out, and they will most likely not get reelected. That is one reason it is almost impossible to find an honest politician in any state or federal congress, or any other elected position.

It doesn’t have to be a foreign country that donates to politicians. Corporations, organizations, unions, and people who have enough money can buy politicians with their donations. If the politicians want the money, they have to agree to change existing laws, or introduce new laws that favor those who donated to the politician. For example, the reason it is so complicated and expensive to start a small business is because the big businesses bought off the politicians with campaign donations to make laws that make it harder for a business to start, and to keep going. Big corporations already have lots of lawyers to sort out the laws, but someone who wants to start a business will have to pay a lawyer just to go through all of the regulations.
Some corporations don’t pay ANY federal taxes, and some of those even get a tax REFUND, even though they did’t pay any federal taxes. The tobacco industry is exempted from any FDA regulations because they have enough money to buy off enough politicians. The pharmaceutical companies got a long extension on their patents by buying off the politicians who would introduce it. The pharmaceutical companies are even paying companies who make the generic brands of drugs at a much cheaper price not to make the generic brands. The generic manufacturers are paid more than they would make if they manufactured the generic brands.

When I ask them a question, I usually forget about it immediately, because, as you said, they can’t answer most of the conservative questions with straight answers. I look at it as a game. Sometimes I feel like playing with them, but most of the time I don’t. One thing I found out is that when I play with them, afterwards I feel better about myself, and I also get a greater thankfulness that I was born in the USA, and that I live in Idaho.
