I just watched CBS This Morning cover the Donald Sterling story. There was lots of harrumphing, there was Obama lamenting, there was just one thing missing.
Sterling’s political party affiliation. He’s a democrat.
For anyone who ever had a doubt, this is as concrete proof as there is that the mainstream media is nothing more than an arm of the DNC.
The NY Times fell all over itself telling us that Cliven Bundy is a Republican, as did pretty much everyone. So did WaPo.

At the American Power blog, Donald Douglas has an extended discussion of Sterling’s donations to liberal causes and the left-leaning commentators who have lauded him in the past. At the time TMZ released its recording, Sterling was scheduled to receive a lifetime achievement award from the NAACP.

Second, they’ll attempt to rehabilitate him in the same way that they rehabilitated Democratic KKK members Strom Thurmond and Robert Byrd. This may present a significant challenge considering that Sterling has a documented history of racial and sexual abuse.

The Collective wants to impose punitive action for all manner of speech. Look at how the drones on this blog label just about everything that is posted other than their own ramblings as hate speech. When you combine that notion, with their constant push for hate speech codes and legislation the intent is clear; to outlaw speech that runs contrary to the Collective’s will, and punish those who express it.
Also keep in mind, that the Collective doesn’t really believe in private property, so they don’t really recognize the concept of ownership. This facade always breaks down in drones whenever confronted with an issue regarding their own private property however.
My question since this whole soap-opera episode became public is: does this really matter a whole lot? It really doesn’t matter that much, if at all. TMZ and Deadspin are purveyors of gossip and innuendo that we ignore on a daily basis, but Obama thinks it important … which is typical of him.
David, it’s no more than a fart in a typhoon, but if Sterling was a Republican, an LA SWAT! team would be mobilized. The president and Liberals are in the hypocrisy up to their knees. My goodness is it now ok to ruin a mans whole life for something he said? Dont get me wrong, but why is it ok to ruin someone over thought , when those that actually hurt people by either stealing from them or killing them, is forgiven. Show me how this hurt anyone. I have noticed that sometimes, that the coding for responding to a specific post, like the one above this sentence, can sometimes trigger the Captcha machine.
Also today there seems to be something that prevents more than one link being posted without it being sent to spam, which is unfortunate because I like to back my arguments with citations so I don’t sound progressive.
Additionally, the Captcha machine seems to be hiccuping, for lack of a better term, when you enter in the code, even if you’re certain it’s correct, it will just refresh and cue you to enter in another code. It’s possible that I entered in the wrong code, but in one instance I tried 30 times and I’m pretty certain that I would have it it correctly once or twice.
Just some observations anyway.
