This shutdown thing could really work out great for us

Barack Obama has been described as dithering and vindictive by insiders and it takes no effort to believe that he is one mean, petty and vindictive SOB. It was reported that Obama wanted the sequester to be as painful as possible, rather than lessening the pain on the American people.

A leaked email from an Agriculture Department field officer adds fuel to claims President Obama’s political strategy is to make the billions in recent federal budget cuts as painful as possible to win the public opinion battle against Republicans.

The email, circulated around Capitol Hill, was sent Monday by Charles Brown, a director at the agency’s Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service office in Raleigh, N.C. He appears to tell his regional team about a response to his recent question on the amount of latitude he has in making cuts.

According to the partially redactedhttp://global.fncstatic.com/static/v/all/img/external-link.png email, the response came from the Agriculture Department’s budget office and in part states: “However you manage that reduction, you need to make sure you are not contradicting what we said the impact would be.”

So the shenanigans he and the democrats are pulling are no surprise and could work out wonderfully for Republicans. President Pettiness has ordered all US Parks closed- and barricaded. The WWII memorial and the Lincoln Memorial are open air parks near to major roadways. What’s the point of the barricades? And what does it cost to to barricade these memorials? Where’s that money coming from?

President Pettiness also specifically denied a permit for WWII vets to visit the WWII memorial. The vets would have none of Obama’s nonsense and stormed the gates.

Obama even threatened them with arrest if they tried to visit the memorials:

He says they are considering going ahead with the trip even if the government is still on shutdown, but when he called the parks service, he was told they would face arrest. “I said, are you kidding me? You’re going to arrest a 90/91-year-old veteran from seeing his memorial? If it wasn’t for them it wouldn’t be there. She said, ‘That’s correct sir.'”

And their response to that threat?

“It just goes to show you why we won World War II,” says Honor Flight of Northwest Ohio President Lee Armstrong.

Love it.

On top of that, House democrats killed an effort to fund Veterans’ Affairs and parks. That’s a gift from the left.

wheelchair vet

I can’t wait to see Barack Obama arrest a vet in a wheelchair. He should do it himself. Barack Obama is a pissy, mean and vindictive narcissist. Let him cement his legacy by arresting these men.

So go ahead, Barack…

Last night Jimmy Fallon had his Obama impersonator showing what Obama would now be up to since the shutdown.
It is in the 1st five minutes, here: http://www.latenightwithjimmyfallon.com/video/tuesday-october-1-2013/n41430/
Yes, it is worth watching.
Jimmy had ”Obama” wanting to see ”The Jersey Boys,” but settling for Jimmy’s show as the next, most gay thing he could get into. His next plan was to see Kinky Boots!
LOL!
Obama’s pettiness, his callousness, his being (as you wrote) pissy, mean and a vindictive narcissist all shine through in a short vignette.

Bully obomba. Defund obombacare.

Hold the line, Republicans.

This was never about doing the right thing, it has always been about power. Warren Bennis describes the difference between a leader and a manager as a manager:
The manager administers;
the leader innovates.

The manager is a copy;
the leader is an original.

The manager maintains;
the leader develops.

The manager focuses on systems and structure;
the leader focuses on people.

The manager relies on control;
the leader inspires trust.

The manager has a short-range view;
the leader has a long-range perspective.

The manager asks how and when;
the leader asks what and why.

Managers have their eyes on the bottom line;
leaders have their eyes on the horizon.

The manager imitates;
the leader originates.

The manager accepts the status quo;
the leader challenges it.

The manager is the classic good soldier;
the leader is his own person.

The manager does things right;
the leader does the right thing.

It appears our community organizer has always been a manager and has no idea how to lead!

Obama got caught!
SEIU workers actually really working at places like McDonalds were paid $15 to pretend to be out of work federal employees.
They admitted it on the video above.
Why would Obama double down against WWII veterans?
Even his own party members are manning the Barrycades to let the vets in!

Randy,
there was a time when the people hang those liars in a power position,
but this one is hangning himself, he has the noose already in place,
bye

@A.Men: Yes, please. Defund Obamcare. Let people who can’t afford it or get dropped just go away and die. Idiot.

Yikes!!

A small-minded community organizer, who’s formative years absorbed the policies of division and envy. A fraud supported by the non-informed and voted in by the dead.

hi,
absolutly correct now more than ever,

You seem to think that people are totally helpless, “This One” … by paying attention, most people can make sure they have adequate health care coverage, even when their present insurer fails them.

Right now, I can work (and have done so) with my employer to obtain better coverage … or change jobs to obtain better coverage.

Unemployed? We do have charitable care, from the law stating that you will be treated in the ER regardless of your ability to pay, to good hospitals like St. Jude’s (and they aren’t the only one who does what they do), and the hospitals run by Catholic charities … the only reasons they can’t seem to keep up with demand is because (1) a lot of money that could be donated to support them ends up in the hands of government at the insistence of people like you, and (2) this Administration is going out of their way to jam their socio-economic morality down the throats of these organizations, running roughshod over their freedom of conscience.

Pay cash? We sure could … prices have come down in health care areas where “cash is king”; like cosmetic surgery and LASIK. But the bulk of the health care system is subjected to the shell game of “managed care”, where providers are compelled to raise their cash prices in response to never-ending demands for ever-deeper percentage discounts. As a result, cash patients end up priced out of the market by this system … which is based, in large part, on the model of Medicare.

But all those work-arounds to the problems of health-care funding require something that is anathema to Progressives like you … the exercise of personal responsibility and personal initiative, to take care of yourself and be in a position to help your neighbors … Progressives prefer that we outsource both responsibility and initiative to them, because they believe they are sufficiently omniscient to make our decisions FOR us. That takes more BLIND faith to believe in, given the history of human governance, than anything coming out of Jerusalem, Rome, or even Mecca.

At best, Progressive hubris will end up amplifying our health care mess … at worst, it will push us into the trap of single-payer, possibly irrevocably (what investor in their right mind would put their money in a health care insurer, after this?) … where all the work-arounds noted above will be threatened with extinction as our Ruling Class, by their self-assured moral calculus, decides whether what YOU need is in the “public interest” to allow.

Where are even the poor going to go, when the Powers That Be rule against them in this manner?

You defend, the indefensible.

Dem strategy: Consolidate power, control the populace, and screw the middle class.

@This one: You know that feeling you get when someone says “Glenn Beck said . . . “, or “Rush Limbaugh said . . . “, the way you immediately dismiss the succeeding “statement” as partisan B.S. that means nothing?

That’s what happens with most people when the comedian John Stewart is invoked. An MTV-style advertising show aimed at 20-somethings who haven’t had a real job, real experience, but are full of anger easily stoked by advertisers and entertainers. But it forms public opinion.

John Stewart reminds me of “The Last Free American” in the Vonnegut classic, Mother Night (great book – I doubt you’ve read it). He can’t possibly believe anything he’s spewing out into the daily lives of the young and the ignorant . . . but it forms public opinion . . .

Like yours. Eventually you grow out of Stewart and start thinking for yourself. Hopefully.

Barack Obama has been described as dithering and vindictive by insiders

Some friends he has, eh?

Question–Why does everyone here keep feeding the Troll???

The Shutdown is going to work out great for you? Did you predict Romney’s victory as well?

As usual, the GOP is playing right into the hands of President Obama. When polls say over 70% of Americans think the Affordable Health Care Law should be upheld, that is an indication of how this mess will pan out.

Gary Miller
MITT ROMNEY WAS PREDICTED TO WIN,
BUT THE democrats digged out the deads and brought them to vote OBAMA,
THIS WAS NOT THOUGHT OF, YES YOU NEVER KNOW HOW FAR THEY WILL GO TO WIN,
JUST YESTERDAY, OBAMA ORDER A NATIONAL GUARD TO GET A COUPLE OF 70 YEARS OLD,
WHO HAS BEEN LIVING THERE FOR 50 YEARS, TO LEAVE THEIR HOUSE BECAUSE IT WAS FEDERAL LAND, THEY HAVE NO PLACE TO GO, THEY WILL RETURN ONLY AFTER THE SHUT DOWN,
IS IN IT SICKO?
