Operation Roundhammer has begun and one of the first objectives is to retake the airstrip on the planet Demios. The 58th Squadron along with thousands of other troops are deployed to accomplish this mission.
When it’s learned that the majority of the Chig fleet is currently in the area to defend Demios, leaving the strategically important planet Ixion virtually defenseless, Earth Forces pull out. The Earth Forces troops, including the Wildcards, are left stranded without air support or ground reinforcements. Will they survive until McQueen and the Saratoga can return to rescue them?
