The Benghazi Charlie Foxtrot Continues

By 12 Comments 457 views

We, the media complex of Obama, swear to put the president’s welfare foremost on our agenda. If this means we must sacrifice our honor and integrity, it is but a small price to pay, to insure the best image for the party and the Liberal/Progressive goals of the future.

The Benghazi episode has become an awkward situation for our leader; consequently, it has become imperative, for the state directed media to lead interference, until this inconvenient bump in the road disappears from the public’s consciousness. The Obama bootlickers have sworn allegiance to the Myth of Obama and it has never been more obvious to the semi-literate objective public.

Three Senators from a noble group of one hundred seek the truth: Lindsey Graham, Kelly Ayotte, and John McCain are demanding Watergate style hearings into the Benghazi murders and the Leftist state directed punditry Dana Bash, Matt Lauer, Soledad Obrien, Anderson Cooper, Wolf Blitzer, Chuck Todd, and Dave Weigel have directed their efforts in a journolist type crusade to cast McCain as a Captain Ahab, the mad whaling captain who sought vengeance against a mythical albino whale he considered a numb beast. It is ironic to have McCain as Captain Ahab and Obama as the white whale Moby Dick.

Hell is an idea first born on an undigested apple-dumpling; and since then perpetuated through the hereditary dyspepsias nurtured by Ramadans.

Melville, “Moby Dick” Chapter XVII

Supposedly, because of McCain’s loss in 2008, he is obsessed with the ascendancy of Obama and is no longer capable of rational thought, but for all the madness of Captain Ahab, his character is one of America’s most elegant and profound philosophers.

I have no objection to any person’s religion, be it what it may, so long as that person does not kill or insult any other person, because that other person don’t believe it also. But when a man’s religion becomes really frantic; when it is a positive torment to him; and, in fine, makes this earth of ours an uncomfortable inn to lodge in; then I think it high time to take that individual aside and argue the point with him.

Melville, “Moby Dick” Chapter XVII

I will surely have fun with their clumsy and amateurish references to Melville’s Ahab if they continue in this direction.

The need for truth is not mentioned in their condemnation of McCain, and they have neglected the other two Senators. Graham and the president have had an exchange, where the president criticized Graham for attacking a poor defenseless minority woman and bravely offered himself to be attacked. A strategy that aligns with the Left's claim of a GOP undeclared and indecipherable war on women. A claim that seems weak, since Senator Kelly Ayotte is an attractive, intelligent, rising star in the GOP and one of the senators seeking the truth on Benghazi.

The senators, like many Americans, want to know why the White House failed to protect American personnel in Benghazi and if whether the failure is a result of incompetence or a reluctance to admit the failure administration policy. Americans are questioning the handling of security at the Benghazi Consulate: why requests for added security were denied and why a local militia was entrusted with the lives of Americans, why reinforcements were kept from protecting the lives of Americans, why the administration falsely blamed an obscure video for two weeks, and w

hy Ambassador Rice was expected to lie to the American people and the world about the nature of the attack by indicating it was the result of a spontaneous demonstration that grew out of control.

Because the media and the administration have failed repeatedly to construct a plausible story line, the Senators Lindsey Graham, Kelly Ayotte, McCain are calling for Watergate-style hearings into the White House's dishonest and/or incompetent handling of everything surrounding Libya: the lack and pulling of security in the wake of growing threats, the failure to send reinforcements during the seven-hour attack, and a false two-week narrative spun and sharpened over time by an administration that without any evidence whatsoever blamed the attack on a spontaneous protest.

Rumors are circulting that U.N. Ambassador Rice is now qualified to be the next Secretary of State, since she has successfully lied repeatedly to the American people and the world and has thus proven her loyalty to Obama; unfortunately, an ability to lie to the public with a straight face may be a prerequisite for a position of power in the Obama Administration, but some Americans are reluctant to accept this dubious ability as a qualifying factor for the position of Secretary of State.

The three Senators have stated they will filibuster her nomination because of this particular qualification, at least until the Benghazi Debacle has been investigated and explained through public hearings. Consequently, righteous indignation has been unleashed throuout the media and the minority legislators against McCain.

The pundits have been paraphrasing the same script, but no one can come up with the answers to Benghazi and the White House seems to believe it is best to offer a variety of lies and hope the public will be content to pick their favorite.

President Obama managed to show his thuggish Chicago persona in response to the three Senators stating they will filibuster any attempt to nominate Ambassador Rice to Secretary of State, with cavalier gallantry, he told Lindsey Graham to come after him instead. Thus he indirectly indicates his responsibility for Rice’s lies. Lindsey Graham assured the president, with his own measure of chivalry, he fully intends to come after him, a move that will be considered racist by nearly all Obama supporters and apologists.

Unbeknown to the public, Obama has elevated Rice’s Ambassador position to the level of a cabinet member. Thus she receives the same cabinet briefings as the rest of the cabinet members and for the five days before she made her melodramatic and equivocating appearance on five TV shows and in front of the U.N. General Assembly, she was receiving information beyond the level of the CIA talking points Obama is claiming as the basis for her addresses to the public.

Of course, our vigilant media swears the CIA talking points are all she had to base her opinions on; which begs the question, why did Obama send someone to address the public who was ill-prepared or does he employ a covert method to his apparent and overt incompetence.

McCain waited until after the election to press for the truth; whether it was from a sense of fair play or old RINO instincts is immaterial, for his efforts at “fairness” he is now being branded a sore loser for having the audacity to insist on knowing the truth.

Unfortunately, the truth is always difficult for Obama and his state directed media. Thus the Benghazi episode has become an awkward situation for our leader; but it is imperative for dear leader to persevere, at least until this inconvenient bump in the road disappears from the public’s consciousness like the Fast and Furious scandal.

However, if we continue to press for the truth and badger our legislators to demand investigations, we just might learn the truth before the end of Obama’s second term.

How did obie get re-elected if the American people are so reluctant to accept dubious abilities?? — looks to me like they really like suckking up sh—t.

    @Budvarakbar:

Sometimes in the editing process, an intent to change the delivery and thrust of a sentence is forgotten in the final stages. This sentence:

but Americans are reluctant to accept this dubious ability as a qualifying factor for the position of Secretary of State.

It was meant to read: but some Americans are reluctant. The loss of one word can be critical, but I made the mistake. I am improving, but trying to write well is a journey for me, not a destination. Thank you for pointing out this glaring error.

“The pundits have been paraphrasing the same script, but no one can come up with the answers to Benghazi and the White House seems to believe it is best to offer a variety of lies and hope the public will be content to pick their favorite.”

I’ve also read the ‘tweets’ by Josh Marshall, you know, about now that “they” won… and the election is ‘over’….. why are we still on this ‘issue’ because you know…the Right has been ‘politicizing’ this and well, says Marshall – isn’t this now a ‘MOOT’ issue??

No, Marshall man this is not about politicizing anything this is about MURDERED AMERICANS a DEAD US AMBASSADOR…MURDERED!!!

Gee, I wonder how the families of these brave dead AMERICANS feel when they hear an ASS HAT like this guy claiming this should now be a ‘MOOT’ issue…??!!?

    CINDY SHEEHAN anyone??

I just don’t get how these same people who speak openly like this have the balls [excuse me] to claim the Right is insensitive and hateful….oh and racist… I keep praying for the day when the American people truly see the Left for the Ass hats that many, many are…

..Sadly, so long as the people of America remain ignorant of what is actually happening around them, the ‘danger’ their Government puts them in… and they have the Obamaclause ‘gifts’ to shut them up…. and like good little children with sponge for brains who continue to tow OFrauds Pied Pipers Liberal dream….of socialism…and misery….it will remain so very sad…

Let’s see, . . . . Obama, along with Hillary run off to the other side of the world to a country so important to the Nation’s taxpayers that most have no idea where that country is or what it’s really called, and neither does he. That’s confirmed by the fact that the uninquisitive mind of the President really doesn’t know the name of the country, nor the name of his host, nor the name of the world’s most renown human rights activist.

But who cares about Burma, or Myanmar, or whatever it’s called, after all this trip is just another good place to hide from questions on Benghazi. Next stop, umm, who knows, who cares, it’s just one of those, . . . well, it’s just the centre of Obama’s new universe until the MSM back home smothers the uncomfortable bump in the road story.

JR, you get the star for humor today; well, I cracked up when I read your commentary, whether it was meant to be humor or not. All humor has an aspect of tragedy involved in the storyline, and this little vignette of the Obama story is no exception. As a business man of much higher stakes than me, I know you would consider such errors in international protocol to be beyond believability. Even for me, a small time single person business, such errors are unacceptable.

We might ask what our president is doing on those long flights to the other side of the world; surely he can squeeze in a few minutes to review the relevant facts concerning his next official visit.

    HI,
that is kind of weird to see him advise the ISRAELI AND HAMAS
while he is visiting another part of the UNITED STATES,

    @Skook: #7,

. . . . surely he can squeeze in a few minutes to review the relevant facts concerning his next official visit.

You raise a point here that seems to escape this President with way too much regularity. From my very first meetings as a greenhorn after university I always took at least 5 minutes to mentally prepare – even to rehearsing what specific words and phrases I would use in the initial encounter. After each meeting I would alocate 5 minutes to debriefing myself. That was one of my processes for advancing my skill-set, and I’ll bet you’ve used a similar process particularly when dealing with situations of import.

Over time, we build that skill-set through the variety and depth of experiences.

Leadership isn’t being a glad-hander with a teleprompter. Effective leadership requires work and effort. It also necessitates ‘experience’.
