What media bias?

These guys have no shame:(h/t The Weekly Standard)

But Mr. Obama kept his eyes on his Republican opponent, whereas Mr. Romney’s gaze kept straying over to the moderator, Candy Crowley of CNN, peevishly calling on her to give him more time and reverting to type as a man as passionate about rules and procedure as policy. He even asked her to intercede by calling her name three times, “Candy, Candy, Candy,” a recall of a much-mo

cked moment in a Republican primary debate when he repeatedly asked Anderson Cooper of CNN to referee a dispute.

Peevish…

And what the hell is wrong with being passionate about rules, procedures AND policy?

And Mr. Romney had more bad moments than the president, particularly when he challenged Mr. Obama’s claim that he early on called the attack on the American consulate in Benghazi, Libya, a terrorist attack, and Ms. Crowley backed Mr. Obama’s version of events. Mr. Romney stammered a bit after that, blinked as the president spoke and never quite got back on a steady, confident foot.

Stammered and blinked….yeah.

It didn't end there, the “unbiased” author brings up “Thurston Howell” and Romney's wealth as if it's a bad thing to have been a successful businessman.

Just the same ole' same ole' from the New York Times.

It is no wonder he blinked and stammered when the realization the “moderator” and the POTUS were in cahoots concerning the Benghazi lie sunk in.

The MSM has incessantly run, over the last few days, articles about Obama’s very silly remarks, a comment by Obama regarding Romnesia — a fictitious disease. Anyone can play that game.

I took the time to look up the world’s 10 most deadly diseases and among them I found two that were of particular interest (and these are real diseases very deadly to human-kind):

1. The biggest and baddest killer is “The Black Death”. No comment on the implication of the name.

and,

2. Ebola. Otherwise known as Barack Hussein Obola.

Stay clear. Nothing more.

You’d better brace yourselves for a lot more blinking, stammering, and backpedaling when the 3rd debate rolls around. Foreign policy doesn’t appear to be Mr. Romney’s strong suit. (Russia is our primary geopolitical enemy, remember?) His opponent has been effectively administering one for the past 4 years.

@Greg:

Ummm, let me see, Greg; hundreds of dead Mexicans, and four dead Americans assigned to the Middle East. I guess you think that Obama foreign policy is working, especially when Obama is so effective and persuasive that it only took him almost a month to convince the Libyans to give visas to the FBI so the FBI could investigate Benghazi.

I think somewhere along the line you damaged your brain with drugs because no one could be as absolutely stupid as you are.

I guess we’ll all find out how knowledgeable Mr. Romney is about foreign affairs this coming Monday. He had better do a lot better than he did the last time, or all the millions wealthy republicans have put out to get him elected will suddenly turn into a very poor investment.

@AdrianS, #2:

Romnesia seems to mainly afflict the republican candidate’s supporters, who for some odd reason don’t seem to remember that he’s done a complete reversal on nearly every position he’s ever taken. They can’t even seem to absorb this when the conflicting statements are presented back-to-back.

@Greg:As a die hard Obama supporter, what do you think he meant when he told the Russians to wait until after the election when he would have more ‘flexibility”?

@noway: Now, not so fast; I’m sure Romney will have a tough time naming the 57 Islamic States. Obamination – no problem.

@Greg:

Well, Greg, one thing is sure; if Romney knows anything about foreign policy he’s ahead of the game compared to where the community organizer was when he was elected. And of course, being the coward you are, you won’t address the fact that The Won couldn’t even convince the Libyans to grant visas to our FBI, even after four Americans were slaughtered there.

Seems to me that an effective leader, which that POS that you support is not, would have been able to negotiate visas immediatly. But not Obama. No, no, not Obama. Because the Middle East is laughting their asses off at him. They know he’s weak. They were thrilled when he was elected because they could not believe that the infidel Americans could be so totally stupid.

One thing about Romney; I bet he knows the difference between a terrorist attack and workplace violence. Bet it just gives you a thrill up your leg that this administration is denying those soldiers murdered at Fort Hood by a radical, scum bag Muslim the Purple Hearts they so deserve.

You are one sick puppy, Greg. Someone should lock you up before you hurt yourself.

@Greg: Thank you BOHICA man. To bad you were not in Benghazi to help Mr. Stevens with his BOHICA problem.

@Greg: Greg, America has just been exposed to 0-blama’s failed policies. To talk about Mitt’s to divert attention away from this failure won’t work. You are a lost cause but as you can see the undecideds and independents are realizing the fact that 0-blama is full of crap and his lies are coming back to haunt him.

@Greg: Greg, BTW when you discuss Romney supporters remember you are talking about the majority vs the minority. You can continue to be the idiot you always have been but America appears to be much smarter than you are.

@Greg: I guess we’ll all find out how knowledgeable Mr. Romney my messiah is about foreign affairs this coming Monday. He had better do a lot better than he did the last time, or all the millions wealthy republicans hollywoodites, foreign donors have put out to get him elected will suddenly turn into a very poor investment. …..Yeah, the SCOAMF can bring his wonderful foreign policy to the table, like Egypt, LibyiaFast and Furious, Bengazi, Iran, ok maybe not those, but at least his awesome “green energy” inititives,

Ok, maybe not so much…But at least he sends letters to the families of fallen service members, wait, no, that would be personally written letters to Jay-Z, scratch that…Oh I got it!…The multitude of “shovel ready” jobs, hmm, nope, not those…I can imagine there is quite a bit going on in your mind, and I’m sure it’s difficult to think straight with those big red shoes making honking noises each step….You are surely the epitomy of a tool, and not the good kind like Snap-On, more along the lines of the Chinese knock offs you can pick up at the Dollar Store….I can see why the mil didn’t want you, got enough issues with people shooting at them from the front, don’t need one shooting from the back…

@greg: like spielberg,springsteen,wienstien,jay z,maher etc?

@Greg:

Nah, Mitt does not have the same Foreign Affairs experience Mr. Obama had with all that community organizer stuff going on. You are so right. Humbled again…

Even if Obama brings his ”A-game” to Mon’s debate he can’t win.
His phony ”war on women,” has been seen through by all sides.
Just today Sandra Fluke was supposed to rouse the masses and only ten people showed up!

Apparently no one can mount an intelligent rebuttal to the observation made in post #7.

This is the GOP’s fundamental problem. It’s why all they’ve managed during the past 2 years is obstruction, and why their only campaign strategy involves negativity and personal attack. They’ve really got nothing to offer of their own that makes any sense.

Their foreign policy consists of simple-minded platitudes and a belligerent attitude–they essentially wave around the flag while making loud angry noises and demeaning a President who actually has foreign policy experience.

Their tax “plan” is for the main devoid of specific, critical details, and what few sketchy details there are simply don’t add up. It’s obviously nothing more than a thin cover for an intention to cut already historically low taxes for the wealthiest at the expense of everybody else.

They certainly can’t run on their own record, because that includes 2 unresolved wars paid for with a credit card, doubling the national debt in 8 years, and bringing the U.S. economy near to total, catastrophic collapse. At the end of their own recent tenure, the economy was going to hell in a handbag. The financial system was in danger of a cascading failure. The stock marked had crashed. Nearly 600,000 jobs were lost during the final month of Bush’s term alone. The worsening trends were all reversed and catastrophe was ultimately averted on someone else’s watch, through someone else’s policies, and the only thing they’ve had to say about that is that it hasn’t been done quickly enough.

I can’t think of a single valid reason why any intelligent person would want to vote for the same policies that got us into deep trouble in the first place. Nor can I understand how anyone who has openly targeted Medicare, Social Security, public education, food stamps, the fundamental right of women to control their own bodies, and the wider availability of health insurance–all in favor of the interests religious dogmatists and of those who are already in positions of the greatest advantage–could genuinely appeal to mainstream America.

@Greg: is creepy harry ried an obstructionist?

@Greg:

If by effectively you mean inciting the entire ME against Israel, why sure, the commie koranimal is doing a bang up job. Hell of a job inserting muslim brotherhood douchebags into every facet of the government. I know that’s the kind of bang up job I’m looking for in a president. I wonder what ovomit meant when he told putin (you know that geophysical enemy) he would have more flexibility after his last election. Do you ever wonder what he meant by that? Moron.

@sablegsd:

In case you hadn’t noticed, Israel was having some serious PR problems with most of the Middle East long before Obama was elected. Perhaps you’ve also forgotten that our troubles with Islamic extremists also began long before Obama was elected.

As to what his comment to Putin meant, I presume he was suggesting that he would have less trouble with political pressure from right-wing idiots and more freedom to act without worrying about reelection after the election is over. As with most comments, the obvious meaning is very frequently the correct one.

@Greg:

He’s been friends with Bibi for decades.
And he knows koranimals are dangerous, murderous spawn of satan.

Good enough for me to shit can the commie koranimal.

You get one vote, same as everyone else. Have at it.

Here’s hoping and praying that this is 1980 redux. Saw a couple of “experts” on O’Reilly last week, one who is no conservative from the University of Colorado who say this election is over…based on poll movement in the last two weeks. One guy said Romney would win by over a hundred votes in the E.C.

From their lips to God’s ear.

Trolls should not be fed. It just makes them more rambunctious.

@Greg: “Effectively?” Greg, are you kidding? Obola or Obummer could not “effectively” oversee chimps having fun.

@Greg
Yes those changing positions are so much a game changer for you. Lets see Obama against gay marriage before he was for it. Against keeping the Bush tax rate before extending all of them in 2010. You get the idea.

As for those two unpaid for wars, lets see Biden voted FOR BOTH OF THEM. The kicker is Biden was picked by Obama because of his foreign policy expertise. Yeah peace is breaking out all over the world.

I guess this is all lost on you.

Romney certainly isn’t perfect, but at least he has experience and real accomplishments to his credit. What did Obama have in 2008? Where were the details? Now it’s 2012 and now we know. Who wants 4 more years of this.

@Greg:
“I can’t think of a single valid reason why any intelligent person would want to vote for the same policies that got us into deep trouble in the first place. ”

Which is why so many of us are not voting for Obama.

@Tim:

The people now know the truth and now know the media would do anything for obama. I believe more people, those undecided and some democrats changed their vote that night.

For those who still believe in barry imagine the media ONLY printing and televising what they are told. Imagine the internet blocking all sites that want to tell the truth. Imagine having to watch everything you say because you could be arrested if someone is offended ( oops sorry that is already a law) Imagine .

If you think this is not possible read the history of russia and cuba ( you can read how they are today. Oppose castro. You are either incarcerated or eliminated) read about france, greece and eastern germany. It can happen.

The NY Slimes also changed Mitt Romney’s 2008 editorial from

“The Way Forward for the Auto Industry” to

“Let Detroit go bankrupt”

@Greg: Flip the Obstructionist Switch
See what happens to Obama supporters when they are asked what a Dem Senate ought to do to work with a new Romney Administration:

Revealing Politics decided to send Caleb Bonham to an Obama campaign event at Ohio State University to talk with voters. Caleb took the opportunity to reveal major hypocrisy among the left regarding the concept of political obstruction. Take a look!
http://revealingpolitics.com/blog/video/flip-the-obstructionist-switch/

Great video.

Ignore the troll. Has there been a logical explanation for why Candy had the CYA Rose Garden transcript and why obie knew she had it and blurted out “read the transcript Candy”?

@Greg: More freedom to act to do what? How would you rate Obama’s foreign policy experience in 2008? How about giving us a little resume for him from 2008 with some specifics. Also, how would you rate our strategic position in the world compared to what it was 4 years ago? For example, do you believe us or AQ and other anti-Western groups have increased their power and influence in such countries as Afghanistan (casualty figures), Pakistan, Iran (progress to getting nukes), Yemen (AQ presence growing), Iraq (AQ presence growing), Syria (AQ presence growing), Egypt (MB), Somolia, and Libya(terrorist attack on our embassy)? Do you believe China is in a stronger or weaker position when it comes to dealing with the U.S. as the result of us selling them all of that debt that has been run up? Coming up with words like Romnesia this late in the game is a sign of desperation.

My mother voted early, in Dallas. She sorta shitcanned your vote. Greg, your vote in Commiefornia won’t change anything there. I’ve read that Illinois, Oregon, and New Jersey, are swinging towards Romney. If Mitt can get some play from Bob Schieffer, its all over. Your messiah will be crucified.

oil guy, Oregon still has Obama 7 points up, 49% to 42% following the town hall debate. The lowest he’s been was back in May, when he was up 4 points.

Romney’s never been ahead in this State, altho Obama has had a larger lead… if you want to think “trends”. But Oregon’s a progressive and pacifist anti-war state. They will never go for Mittens. Get out of Portland, Salem, Medford or Eugene/Springfield, and Romney does fine. But the state is always decided by the few dense urban areas historically in every election. The Oregon as a swing state, or Romney coming out ahead is a pipedream… just won’t happen.

What slim chance he might have had on domestic or economic policies as the RINO (tho they will still think of him as favoring the wealthy) will be completely destroyed by his foreign policy and aggression towards Iran. They may be bummed with Obama’s out cowboy’ing Bush, but the POTUS manages to speaks with fork tongue and still fool the anti-war into their continued support.

ADDED: note in the latest poll breakdown.., it’s still voters pulling the lever (so to speak, tho we have a mail in ballot system) right down party lines. Only 9% of Dems/Indys will defect for Romney, and the same amount of Republics/Indys that will defect for Obama. Sample of the 600 some likely voters was 35% Republican, 41% Democrat, and 23% Independents. The Indy’s pretty much split in half on their support for either candidate. It will come down to voter turnout, and Republics would have to hope that the majority of voters in this State, Democrats, stayed home.

ANOTHER ADDED: A lot of people unfamiliar with Oregon are getting all excited about an open letter to Oregon voters from the Oregon Magazine. What you need to know is that is one of the few conservative leaning publications in the State. Now if the Oregonian had that in their editorials, then I’d say get excited….

GREG
geez, since when are we allied with RUSSIA?
is that what OBAMA THOUGHT, when he was saying secretly to the RUSSIAN PM
about his plan which is not known by AMERICANS, HE SAID GIVE ME TIME,
after I’m re-elected, I will be more flexible? is that why he promises this unknown secret to be fulfilled?
if he think RUSSIA IS OUR ALLIE HE BETTER THINK TWICE,
they now are against his policy supporting ALQUAEDA IN SYRIA , and they told him publicly,
as same as CHINA WHO CANNOT BE COUNTED AS ALLIE EITHER,
JUST CONTINUE TO SHOW WEAKNESS AND BOW, AND THEY ARE INCREASING THEIR WEAPONRY,
and got and allied themselves with RUSSIA TO PLAY WITH THE CURRENCY TO BE LOSING VALUE,
IN THE USA, and western world

Compare and contrast the Mullahs of Iran’s panicky response to a possible Romney win with that of the Lefty media:
http://www.powerlineblog.com/archives/2012/10/mullahs-panic-over-prospect-of-romney-victory.php
It is striking how closely Iranian state media parallel the fevered fantasies of American liberals.

@Mulligan22, #27:

Romney certainly isn’t perfect, but at least he has experience and real accomplishments to his credit.

One of his accomplishment was making himself a bundle as a financial speculator. Some people seem to confuse that activity with running a business.

A genuinely useful thing he did do was to set up the health insurance system that Obamacare was modeled on. I’ll certainly give the man credit for doing that.

GREG
THAT came on the subject BY OBAMA and like the same end of the comment , and fortunately
MITT ROMNEY answer that was fitted for a STATE ONLY ,
not on the federal stage, he said every STATE SHOULD IN CHARGE OF IT NOT THE FEDERAL

@Greg: Talking about ”making a bundle….”
According to the GAI (Government Accountability Institute) in September, the Obama campaign collected $2,199,204.38 in donations with non-existent or invalid ZIP codes.
The Romney campaign’s September total: just $29,620.
The GAI investigation also revealed that Obama.com is owned by an Obama bundler living in China with business ties to the Chinese government.

@Greg: Sadly you get one as well. Clearly no brain is required to vote. I even question if your legally eligible to vote, how can you be so stupid and register??

@Greg: He did more than 0-blama and you still voted for him!! How’s feel to vote for such a liar and failed President??

@Common Sense, #42:

Such taunts don’t register as you imagine on anyone not sharing your irrationally negative view of the President.

@Greg: Greg, when every comment you make starts out with your irrationally blaming all of 0-blama’s failures on some Republican? I agree though you are correct, no need for me to point out the obvious dillusional fantasies you have.

GREG
DID YOU GET YOUR FLAST OF VODKA YET FOR YOUR VOTE?
you look like you had a few fingers full of it when you come in to comment,
by the way, those half pints come from RUSSIA,
IS THAT PART OF THE DEAL WHICH OBAMA PROMISES
TO DO AFTER THE ELECTION.
HE SAID HE WOULD HAVE MORE FLEXIBILITY,
OF COURSE with vodka it give you flexibility
to forget what you where elected for, he flex it for LIBYA INSTEAD OF THE AMERICANS, THEY DIED
