Senator McCain’s chivalrous defense of Huma Abedin, intimate confidant of Hillary Clinton, is not only inappropriate, but it borders on gross negligence and incompetence. We have come to expect the release of classified information that puts our servicemen and ultimately the Republic at risk from the present administration, but it is disconcerting to hear Republicans defending possible terrorist moles with the bravado of latter-day Chamberlains, promising peace in our lifetimes.
We should all do well to read Whitaker Chambers’ “Witness” and “Body of Secrets” a review of the Venona Cables and of declassified information from the NSA. Chambers’ book was the book that convinced a New Deal Democrat Ronald Reagan to become a Republican and the Venona Cables confirmed that not only was Alger Hiss, the main confidant of FDR and his advisor at the Yalta Conference where Eastern Europe was given to Stalin, a spy for Stalin, but that the US government was infested with Soviet spies. But now that we have a virtually illiterate public, the propaganda bureaus are still maintaining that McCarthy was a crank and Hiss was innocent. Thus history is being allowed to repeat itself, with the help of our state-sponsored media and our public education system.
Ms Abedin has a problem with immediate family members being embedded in the political leadership of a movement that is an avowed enemy of the US. Normally, these family connections would preclude a top-secret clearance and access to extremely sensitive classified material within the State Department. However, the Obama Administration is extremely lax with security and for that reason the presence of Abedin as a close confidante of Hillary Clinton is circumspect and being scrutinized by more and more people.
Ms Abedin, the ambivalent wife of disgraced former congressman Weiner, has three intimate family members: her late father, her mother, and her brother involved with the Muslim Brotherhood and its multi-tentacled allied organizations. However Abedin’s connections to the Brotherhood are even more direct; she is directly involved with Abdullah Omar Naseef, a major Brotherhood figure responsible for funding al-Qaeda. Abedin worked for several years at the Institute for Muslim Minority Affairs as the assistant editor of the IMMA’s journal. Naseef founded the IMMA and was active for years in its activities; years that overlapped with Abedin’s tenure there. Naseef has also been the secretary general of the Muslim World League in Saudi Arabia, possibly the most significant Muslim Brotherhood organization in the world. Within this connection, he founded the Rabita Trust, an organization designated as a foreign terrorist organization
The most common reasons that security clearances for high-ranking government positions are denied: associations, allegiances, or connections that establish a potential of conflict of interest. 
Government jobs with access to our nations secrets are not rights, they are privileged positions. The potential for conflict from hostile nations need not necessarily arise from direct actions, personal connections, or vicarious associations; the applicant’s immediate relatives and their connections can preclude them from obtaining certain positions
Government jobs and access to the nation’s secrets are privileges, not rights. That is why the potential conflict needn’t stem from one’s own associations with hostile foreign countries, organizations, or persons. Vicarious associations, such as one’s parents’ connections to troublesome persons and organizations, are sufficient to create a potential conflict and preclude certain positions.
Now that the government is becoming aware of Abedin’s troubling connections to Islamic Terror, the question must be asked why she was approved for such a high ranking position within the State Department. We will excuse incompetent fools like McCain, but has our national security reached such a point of malfunction, that terrorist organizations can plant a potential mole with impunity.
Ms Abedin was the assistant editor of the Journal of Muslim Minority Affairs between 1996 and 2008; during the Clinton presidency, she was an intern and in 2008 she took her current position as deputy chief of staff “under” Hillary Clinton.
Naseef founded the IMMA in the late 70’s, while he was the vice president of the prestigious King Abdulaziz University; its main product was to be the journal. Naseef recruited a fellow academic Zyed Abedin for the managing editor position. The two men became friends while Abedin was a visiting professor at the university in the early 70’s.
Dr. Abedin moved his family from Kalamazoo Michigan to Ssaudi Arabia. Zyed’s wife, Saleha Mahmood Abedin, an academic as well, worked for the journal from the beginning. Upon her husband’s death, in 93, she took over the position of editor and remains the journal’s editor.
Huma’s brother Hassan, works as an associate editor at the journal.
Soon after the journal started, Naseef became the secretary of the Muslim World League; the Saudi financed global propagation program designed to spread the Muslim Brotherhood’s radical anti-Western Islamist ideology throughout the world.
This is not some radical Imam, in the Islamic hierarchy there are few positions more critical or important than the office of secretary of the Muslim World League. The Muslim World League directs the “civilization jihad;” the Brotherhood’s commitment to destroy the West from within, and to conquer or overwhelm Western Civilization by proselytizing with the imposition of Sharia or dawa.
The Muslim World League has been involved with violent jihad as well.
Naseef founded the Rabita Trust, considered a charity, under the auspices of the Muslim World League. Naseef selected Wael Hamza Jaladan to direct the trust; Jaladan had already formed an alliance with Osama Bin Laden.
In 2011, John McCain proclaimed to the country that he was “unilaterally opposed” to the Muslim Brotherhood; again we have an example of incompetence or intellectual laziness.
Sharia as interpreted by the Muslim Brotherhood in Reliance of the Traveler: A Classic Manual of Islamic Sacred Law, insists all Muslims must donate a portion of their income. The obligation is known as zakat, and referred to as charity by Islam and their Western apologists; but it is not charity, it is to support ummah, the notional global community of Muslims. Reliance demands that the charity can only support Muslims and one eighth must be forwarded to “those fighting for Allah, meaning those engaged in Islamic military operations for whom no salary has been allotted in the army roster.” It is essential to keep in mind that Muslim charities who are accused of funneling money to terrorist organizations are not fronts for radical Jihad; they are required to donate specific amounts to radical Jihad, under sharia. We have already given millions to the Muslim Brotherhood and other organizations who dutifully donate to groups seeking to kill Americans.
In October of 2001, Naseef’s Rabitah trust was formally declared a foreign terrorist organization by a US government who took the threats to America mote seriously. Eventually the al-Haramain Islamic Foundation and International Islamic Relief Organization and other “charities” connected to the MWL were designated as terrorist organizations.
During a 2001 terrorism prosecution in Chicago, the Justice Department revealed that Osama had told an aide, Jamal al-Fadl that the Muslim World League was one of al-Qaeda’s top three funding source. (Fadl turned states evidence and cooperated with prosecutors)
Naseef maintained a hand in the IMMA during the time he ran the Rabita Trust and the MWL, until 2003; in 2004, he was named as a defendant in the civil case brought to court by victims of the 9/11 terrorist atrocities. In 2010 a judge dropped him from the suit because a judge ruled the US had no jurisdiction over him, yea right!
Huma Abedin worked for the IMMA Journal for twelve years. She worked with the founder for at least seven years; it would possibly be more except for Naseef being dropped from the mast head after the onset of his legal problems.
The absolute absurdity of Abedin’s suitability for a high-level position “next” to Hillary Clinton becomes even more patently offensive when her family’s ties to terror are pointed out to the public and dithering fools like Boehner and McCain are exposed as hopeless incompetents who rush to the defense of the attractive woman who is deeply embedded with Islamic terror.

I read some interesting posts about this woman on PJ when her husband’s indiscretions made the news. One commenter, from Israel, I believe, pointed out a few interesting things about her.
She supposedly came back to the US after growing up in Saudi to attend college. Yet, before two years were up (pretty much the minimum to get even an associates I think) she was working for Hildabeast in the White House. Additionally, her salary was on the order of $25K or so a year, not enough to live in DC, let alone afford designer clothing (which she famously hardly ever wears twice).
So where did the money come from? Does her mother make that much teaching? Did she come from old money? Or was a very attractive woman, bankrolled like a female James Bond, placed in easy reach of the most sexually despotic regime in recent American history by an entity seeking access to the levers of government? It may have surprised them which of the Clintons took the bait I suppose, but either way they really couldn’t miss.
And why is it, since the islamofacists are so ready to condemn any who don’t adhere to their version of the death cult, that there are no public death threats against her from them? Or against “O” who left the cult he was born into for that matter?
When anything can be “forgiven” in the name of advancing islamofacism, what better cover than a foppish, Jewish husband? And what better placement than the office . . . or other rooms. . . of the first lady/sec. of state?
Skook, when you look at the “business” actions of Slick Willy since he left the Oval Office, you have to know that money is involved here somewhere. When Hillary was running in the Democrat primaries in 2008, there were a number of articles, and questions, about Hillary’s “mystery woman”, Huma Abedin. It was reported four years ago that there were “questionable” connections to the woman who seemed to act more of a body guard to Hillary Clinton and who seemed to be at Clinton’s side 24/7, even answering the phone of Hillarys’ apartment in the wee hours of the night from campaign staff who urgently needed to talk to Hillary.
As the rumors flew about this woman that few, if any, knew anything about, including Hillary’s own staff, up pops Anthony Weiner announcing his engagement to Huma Abedin. The odd part of that announcement was that their relationship seemed to have been D.C.’s most guarded secret as no one could report having seen Weiner and Abedin together at any social functions that were not connected to Hillary.
Other questions about Abedin swirled around D.C. How did this beautiful young woman manage to work her way into Hillary’s First Lady circles and where did she get her money? It was obvious that Abedin was not paying for a tony apartment in the safest neighborhood in D.C., the Marc Jacob designer totes that she was famous for carrying around or her expensive designer clothes (she seems to favor Prada originals) that were beyond the reach of almost all of White House support staff out of her taxpayer funded salary. How many aides can afford a wedding dress personally designed by Oscar de la Renta, a one of a kind that would have cost well into the five digits? Certainly her future husband, who never had a job that was not taxpayer funded, could not afford that. Little Ms. Huma is such a snappy dresser, she even got her own Vogue spread.
There have been many questions about this woman that no one in D.C. (at least on the Dem side) seem to want answers to. Her connections to the Muslim Brotherhood has been known for over four years, yet it seemed to have been placed on the taboo list of subjects Democrats are willing to talk about.
Boehner and McCain’s defense of her is unjustified. If there are questions about a woman who described herself as “devoutly Muslim” and how she has managed to reach a position to be in-the-know of all of our nations security secretes, those questions must be answered. She was sold to the American public as just a George Washington U student who went to work for Hillary at age 20 (in 1996). How did a “student” land such a job as an aide to the First Lady?
Just Al, I’ve been watching this woman over the years as well, and wondering what type of dispensation she received to marry Weiner the Pervert. She thought his indiscretions were insignificant and that may play into the subservient role of women in Muslim society, but a Muslim woman marrying a Jew doesn’t, especially a woman deeply embedded in the most radical of all Islamo Fascists. Not one radical Muslim in all the US has wanted to issue a fatwa against her for soiling the honor of Islam by marrying a Jew; they may need to kill their daughters for taking on Western cultural traits, but Huma’s indiscretions, sins, and blaspheme are just peachy. There’s something rotten going on, and fools like Boehner and McCain are more than willing to come to the aid of a beautiful woman, who cares if she is a spy; unfortunately, there is no fool like an old senile fool.
05, in the horse business, I often see indications of women committing to each other, but it usually isn’t until they both have their names on the checks that it becomes official and common knowledge. By that time no one cares besides a forlorn husband, but I doubt Weiner is lamenting those lonely nights with all the teenage dating opportunities available. His marriage is a marriage of convenience meant to deflect rumors for the silverware thieves, the Clinton duo. I am sure he is being richly rewarded with money and flesh for his charade.
It is America’s wealth that is supplying Huma’s wardrobe; every time we fill-up our tanks, the extra thirty or fort dollars goes to those who support her lavish lifestyle that she and the beast enjoy.

I read about Clinton selling his influence to get the uranium deal back when it happened. I wrote about it, but I may have just as well started a motorboat in the bathtub for all the traction I received. Even Republicans seem to think this teflonman is infallible. I don’t think any woman who describes herself as a “devout” Muslim would be very interested in marrying a Jew, especially one who claims to be a “devout” Jew, as Weiner has done.
The engagement was announced after prying eyes started questioning the relationship between Hillary and Huma. It came up out of the blue, and no one in D.C. had any inkling that Huma was going to marry the Big Mouth of Congress. For the next two years, Abedin and Weiner were rarely seen together, and oddly enough, when they did marry, did not have a honeymoon as Weiner said they were both “too busy” with their jobs to take time off (not even a weekend. Odd? You betcha. Seems the Weiner could find time for other things, though.)
Again, this woman needs to be looked into and looked into deeply. I am glad Michele Bachmann has the cajones to do it.
And just like a clock will strike 12, the New York Post reported that little Ms. Huma now has state, and federal protection due to a [claimed] threat from a New Jersey Muslim. But even though this Muslim supposedly threatened a high ranking federal employee, there has been no arrest. Makes you want to scratch your head and go “ummmm?????”. Death threats are the perfected excuse of every Democrat learned from the Just-Us Brothers.

Skook, I read your piece with great interest, wondering to myself, what exactly has Huma Abedin done to warrant Skook’s fury? I find myself still wondering. Are you making these serious accusations based solely on guilt by association? Can you also comment on what you perceive to be the reasons that the requisite security clearance was inadequate in this case? Do you have information you’re not sharing that would account for why you feel it was insufficient or flawed? Or perhaps were those involved in vetting Ms. Abedin also part of the plot? Thanks.
Tom, when I was a young man, during the 60’s, you could not become an officer in the armed services if you had a relative behind the Iron Curtain, nor could you get a top secret clearance for many jobs in the armed forces if you had unscrupulous associates or relatives involved with groups aligned against the US. I haven’t been involved since those days, but I doubt if the requirements for top secret clearances have changed that much. If you had a clearance you were considered trustworthy with top secret documents. To put it bluntly, there is no way that Abedin could qualify for a low level clearance; yet she is privy to most if not all of the operations of our Secretary of State, and should have a top secret clearance to be in that position.

There is a leak problem with the Obama Administration, initially they denied the problem, but it has apparently been traced back to the administration, but nothing is being done to find the traitors to stop the leaking of classified information. Thus a major problem exists and an inconsistency with basic security is being ignored; I refuse to ignore the situation and I refuse to let dough heads like Boehner and McCain try to act like the problem doesn’t exist. Leaking of State Secrets can and will cost the lives of American service men and will jeopardize our missions in sensitive areas around the world. If we no longer offer security to our service men so that dithering old fools can act chivalrous towards beautiful spies, we should at least warn them that their welfare is no longer a priority.
Obviously, when it comes to the welfare of our service personnel, all pretenses of partisanship are over. These people put their lives on the line, not their golf games and vacations. They deserve the best in security and loyalty from our government and right now we are like children playing with grenades.

I was hoping to actually comment on that yesterday, but as you noticed, I had a rather short comment due to the fact that I pretty much lost my communication network here at work. In turn our clients couldn’t place their wagers and you for sure can appreciate an irate horse player who couldn’t get his wager in on the stone cold winner he tells everyone he would have had after the race is over.
Let’s look at this from 2 slants. first a bit of history. My Grandmother was a hard core almost orthodox Jew. She despised everything there was about the Muslim world as a whole and one could not hold a cognizant conversation with her as for instance the fact that many Arabs could in fact be human. She didn’t want to and wouldn’t listen to it. Yet this is the same woman who was friend with and knew David Ben Gurian who as we all know was a warrior yet a peace loving and gentle man. I only wish that when I got to meet him as a boy, I had understood the significance of the great man and what he really stood for.
Having said all that, the area of Chicago I grew up in with it’s Jewish slant would have been against any such marriage. We all know the cultures in the Mideast are something that is so close yet so far apart. As people are in close proximity, people fall in love and marry in spite of the pitfalls they will encounter.
And I do think there are far more of these marriages than some would admit too. Many Jews will pretty much disown or shun, just as my Grandmother did to me for years when I married my beautiful wife of 37 years (this Monday coming). I also think the majority of Jews would really look askance as to Wiener marrying someone with such obvious ties to the very groups and culture that advocates the elimination of his race.
So let’s look at both people. Huma first and foremost is guilty by her past associations just as Obama is with his Ayres and other associations. She has been mentored as a hard core Muslim and one would expect her to work from that slant. She appears to be someone that would use anyone and everything to get ahead and advance her agenda. Again, nothing wrong with this per say, but one has to wonder why she was not vetted anymore than the Little O was. As we saw just the other day, some Muslim track athletes demand (and got by the IOC) a wall to be erected between them and some Jewish athletes because “the sight of Jews offended them”. As such, one must assume the Muslim world in general (especially when we see so many Honor Killings lately) would be fit to be tied and want to fry this woman. Yet silence. Very strange. Personally from what I’ve seen and read, I wouldn’t want her in the position she is in.
One point as to Huma though. This is a beautiful woman. If Wiener married her for love (and/or just for the body as some are wont to do) one cannot blame him there. Also at the risk of being a bad boy, JC, don’t blame Hillary (Skook’s right, I guess we should try to be tactful) if that is the reason she has Huma around. Beauty is beauty. The woman is flat out good looking!
Now as to our boy Wiener. One can make the argument this was a marriage of convenience with both Huma and Wiener needing it for there rise to power. Huma needed to look like she wasn’t hard core Muslim. Wiener being not only a slimy politician but in fact a classic New York Liberal Jew needed it to advance his political career. Nothing new on that front. Many in the Jewish community (Stereotype coming up here, but unfortunately it is true in some cases) would look at this as good business (you know, kind of like the Feringi in Star Trek. business and profit first) and applaud his marriage for that reason. One of my uncles was like that. Personally, I think that’s what this was, but the self loathing Jews of today are every bit as pathetic as the Jews of the past who as shown in Germany for example were passive in their reactions and chose to accept until it was to late.

When I sit there and watch this President preaching to the millions out there who cannot see what he really is, I get scary chills. One only had to listen to the crowd on the day he came up with his “you didn’t build it” small business remark. The reaction of the crowd that in effect was applauding the confiscation of everything I and all hard working Americans have achieved was the telling indication of how bad things really are now. Millions believe this and worse, they don’t understand that once they give up everything to “Government Benevolence” , they have in fact allowed a dictatorship to be established. Like it or not, that is the fact.
Always remember. This predates Obama! I’m not calling the Red scare per say, but the tactics are the same in any pre-socialist country or dictatorship through history. The seeds for this were actually sown well be fore Kruschev’s famous we will bury you tirade. And if memory serves one of his (or another one of his cronies) also said we would be destroyed from within. False promises, telling the same lie over and over, open contempt for our laws and principles and open spite for our allies combined with open arms for this countries enemies are all evidence in this President’s actions. However, he is not the first! Political correctness, an unwillingness to speak or live by the truth, open violence as prescribed by the left wing radicals and so on. Ayres and his bunch from the sixties now have their proxy in place. A co-opted media willingly promotes the lie just as it was in the USSR and Germany. And on and on!
Either way, never forget this goes so much deeper and farther back and in the end it is still the PEOPLE that have allowed this to happen. The founding fathers have got to be turning over in their graves right now because this is an affront to everything they stood for. This is a cancer of the worse kind. Brainwashed, mind dead lemmings blindly voting as their masters desire. This isn’t a joke. I wish it were, but it is fact!
