Washington Post ombudsman Patrick Pexton touted the Post’s Romney-haircut “scoop” as a “deeply reported story” that “holds up to scrutiny.” But the family of the haircut victims told ABC it was “factually inaccurate” and it shouldn’t be used as a political football. Pexton said nonsense: the Post has received “no specific complaint of inaccuracy.”
Perhaps more shocking is that the Post shamelessly admits they timed this story precisely to echo on the day after President Obama’s big pro-gay announcement. They actually waited a day longer than planned to let Obama have the front page to himself when he was being “historic.” Pexton’s only nod to the right: he panned the sneaky update that’s still not a “correction”:
Stu White was portrayed in the original story as being “disturbed” by the alleged haircut incident for decades, and then it was amended to a couple of weeks. That’s embarrassing, but not to the shameless Post

Romney address at Liberty Univ. sparks controversy
Mitt Romney is to deliver the commencement address Saturday at Virginia’s Liberty University, the largest evangelical college in the country.
His visit has stirred debate in the conservative Christian community, because some believe his Mormon faith is a cult.
Protestants are the nation’s largest religious group, and evangelicals are the largest group within that group. Since when is it controversial for a presidential candidate to speak to such a large and mainstream group?
But bring up the fact that Obama borrowed language from prior Communist dictators as his campaign slogan and the MSM goes silent.
But to the same MSM, it’s not controversial — it’s not even worth a follow-up report — that President Obama is using the power of the presidency to bully private citizens right now.
The same media that praises Obama for “evolving,” makes controversy anytime Mitt Romney even appears to think about changing his mind on anything.
The Tea Party — controversial. Occupy, with its rapes and other crimes — darlings.
The Koch brothers — controversial. George Soros — philanthropist.

…In her distributed remarks, Maya Wiley of the Center for Social Inclusion criticized “conservative messages [that are] racially ‘coded’ and had images of people of color that we commonly see used” and proposed tactics for countering the Republicans’ (presumably) racially-coded rhetoric.

Until we all throw away the pretense in our language, in our thoughts and in our approach this notion that these animals are “biased”, they’re in control. The edifice of “news” is what allows these assholes to parade around as though they’re in the news business. They’re in the democrat business. They have been for forty years.
They aren’t “biased”. Their blocking and tackling for their team.
So, if “Conservative messages” include “people of color” the messages are racist. I imagine that if the “Conservative messages” did not include “people of color”, it would also be racisim.
Democrats have watered down the meaning of “racism” to such a ridiculous extreme, that “racism” has essentially become the modern day variation of “The Boy Who Called Wolf.” Anyone who has ever actually been victimized by true racism should take note.

So…okay…the WaPo has opened a door. Now, I would like the following questions about Mr. Obama answered:
1. If as Obama says…he “staggered” through high school drunk and high…how did he get into Occidental, Columbia, and Havard?
2. He reportedly attended a public school in Indonesia…the rule in that country then was that only citizens could attend. Was he ever an Indonesian citizen?
3. Tim Adams…a former bureaucrat in Hawaii’s official forms office said that four years ago employees looked for Obama’s hard copy birth certificate…he says it did not exist. Adams now lives on the mainland, is there not one “reporter” interested enough to interview him?
4. Obama’s draft registration card dated “80”…is the ONLY one found from that era that does not have 19 in front of the rest of the year. I have read that it was compared to hundreds from that time…it is the ONLY one with this type of year desigination. Why is that?
5. On what passport did Obama travel to Pakistan in the early 80s when he visited his best friend’s family?
6. If Obama was born in Hawaii…why did his grandmother’s neighbors tell reporters early in the last campaign that he was born in Mombassa, Kenya….were they wrong?
7. What role did Tony Rezko’s wife play in the purchase of Obama’s home…she was his real estate agent…how was the bank loan handled?
8. How does Obama come to have a social security number issued in Connecticut in 1977…a state he’d never beeen to up to that time?
9. How did Michelle come to have a six figure job at a hospital as a PR person…while her husband was on a state senate committee that oversaw hospital funding?
The press seems to be able to dig into Romney’s high school career…can we have a little fairness?
