For those of us who depend on gasoline for our livelihood, Obama is a nightmare.

Bush allowed drilling in the Gulf of Mexico in June of 2008 and by that fall, prices had plummeted to less than $2.00 a gallon.

Now you might ask, “Why did gas prices plummet in the second half of 2008?” The answer is simple. President Bush lifted the offshore drilling ban in mid July. Without any new drilling, that act resonated with other oil producing countries, and our gas prices went down sharply. – Source

It’s amazing that more people are not connecting the dots. Of course, when Americans are too concerned with what dress a Hollywood starlet is wearing, or which gold-digger the Bachelor will choose, or which previously unknown musician or singer will become our next American Idol, their hands are full, time-wise, and they cannot be bothered to reason out why they are now putting $50-60 in their tanks a week, rather than the $30-40 of just a couple years ago.
