The truth is offensive. It’s the new liberal dementia.

The above have one thing in common, and it is indisputable.

For the purpose of promoting his new book, Bill O’Reilly appeared on The View recently. Predictably, the visit got heated, especially as regards the Ground Zero Mosque. When O’Reilly made the statement “Muslims killed us On 9/11” the two biggest idiots on the show walked out.

“That is such bullsh*t,” Goldberg exclaimed in the midst of a cacophony of back-and-forth yelling.

As though O’Reilly told a lie.

Goldberg immediately resorted to usual braindead liberal canard:

Goldberg shouted “What religion was Mr. McVeigh? [referring to Timothy McVeigh, the convicted American-born terrorist who blew up the Oklahoma City Building in 1995] Mr. McVeigh was an Extremist as well and he killed people,” before she and Behar walked off the set in protest.

McVeigh was really more like Obama mentor Bill Ayers and his Weathermen than anything else, and he did not kill anyone in the name of God or Allah, as did the 9-11 participants. Those subtleties are lost on Behar and Goldberg, but then that is often the case. In fact, the bottom line of Osama Bin Laden’s letter to the American people as to why he masterminded the 9-11 attacks is simple-

“Allah made me do it.”

Everybody’s favorite Ground Zero Imam Faisal Rauf took advantage of the opportunity to insist that water isn’t wet.

“Bill O’Reilly’s remarks about Islam on The View were not helpful to the cause of mutual trust and understanding and only served to further fuel an irrational fear of Islam,” says Rauf. “We all have a right to express our opinions. But we also have a responsibility to do so in a civil and respectful fashion.”

So we’re all entitled to our freedom of speech, except when it offends Muslims. Or Whoopi Goldberg.

Rauf goes on to make things even more clear:

He adds, “If future generations are to live in a safe and peaceful world, we must break the cycle of misunderstanding and mistrust that encourages extremism here and around the world. Mr. O’Reilly’s uninformed comments were offensive, not only to his interviewers, but also to millions of American Muslims.”

So there it is. We must choose between the truth and peace. If truth offends, then it must be sacrificed. And we here in the US must avoid doing anything that pisses off Islam and leads to “extremism.” Even if it means sacrificing our freedoms.

There’s a word to describe that. Dhimmitude.

There is some other mistrust and misunderstanding that I’d like to see Rauf address:

Islamists say the Koran is destined to rule America. In fact, the Muslim takeover of the White House is not just an unfolding action plan but a directive from Muhammad himself.

In an interview Sunday on ABC’s “This Week,” British radical Muslim activist Anjem Choudary made clear what he and his Islamist brothers have planned for the West. “We do believe, as Muslims, the East and the West will one day be governed by the Shariah,” he said. “Indeed, we believe that one day, the flag of Islam will fly over the White House.” He then quoted a hadith, or saying of Muhammad, as related by 10th-century Muslim scholar Al-Tabarani, that “the final hour will not come until Muslims conquer the White House.” Another version of the saying goes, “A small portion of Muslims will rise and conquer the White House.”

And of course

“You can’t say that Islam is a religion of peace,” Choudary told CBN News. “Because Islam does not mean peace. Islam means submission. So the Muslim is one who submits. There is a place for violence in Islam. There is a place for jihad in Islam.”

Rauf never seems to have time to call on Choudary and those of his ilk for that man-to-man talk about fostering mistrust and misunderstanding.

So AliGail, were you overcome with the beauty of the religion of peace and its respect for women or did you fall for a Muslim man?

You need to keep looking if you can’t find it right away.
It is there:

“The Final Hour will not come until the Muslims Counquer the White House” [Tabarani]

“A small portion of Muslims will rise and conquer the White House.” [Musnad al-Imaam Ahmad]

“The Islamic religion will continue until the Hour has been established, or you have been ruled over by 12 Caliphs, all of them being from the Quraysh. also heard him say: A small force of the Muslims will capture the White Palace (Bayt al-Abyar – lit: ‘white house’); the police of the Persian Emperor or his descendants. I also heard him say: Before the Day of Judgment there will appear (a number of) impostors.” [Sahih Muslim]

Oh, and Timothy McV went to his death an agnostic, just as he lived his life.
He allowed ”last rites” to be given him ”just in case,” but that certainly doesn’t make it likely he was motivated by a religious belief.

WHAT IS NEEDED IS MORE THAN VIGILANCE: IT IS ALREADY TOO FAR TO LET IT HAPPEN,
WITH SMOOD TALKS, FOR THE LOVE OF GOD, AND AMERICA
