The Presidential Paradox

The president was in California yesterday begging millions from Progressives who praise and worship the half white president for no other reason than he champions the progression toward Socialism.

With little to offer but a forlorn Hope in Obamanism, he throws in the hatred that Progressives have for Conservatism and the Constitution for which they stand. His platform, weak and poorly constructed, has no truth meant to reconcile polar opposites: indeed, he offers the premise that the country can only be saved through failure.

“Don’t give in to fear,” Obama said Monday in his latest ominous vision of a country led by the opposition party. “Let’s reach for hope.”

Obama has settled on his message for the pivotal midterm elections, which means what he said Monday in Milwaukee will sound like what he says Tuesday in Seattle and Wednesday in Miami. He is covering more than 8,000 freewheeling miles in three days, the kind of personal attention that gets donors to the door.

This week offers not just a window for Obama to campaign — Congress is gone, his summer vacation awaits — but also a window into his thinking about the fall campaign. Despite deep voter impatience over the sickly economy, the White House is betting people will stick with Democrats if the choice is framed as one between those who act and those who obstruct.

On Monday, he warned of reliving a dreadful past, saying Republicans want voters “to be afraid of the future.”
“The worst thing we could do is to go back to the very same policies that created this mess in the first place,” Obama said at a fundraiser in Wisconsin. “In November, you’re going to have that choice.”

In other words, he and the Euro-Socialists know the dimensions for America’s grave and the Republicans will only disturb the digging process.

In Milwaukee, the president spoke in a basketball arena to raise money for the state Democratic Party and for the mayor Tom Barret, who is in a tough race. Lunch tickets were $250 and you could get a photo with the president for $10,000.

In Los Angeles, the fundraiser was open to all Hollywood Lefties who could cough up $30,400 a couple, for that you rub elbows with the president, Nancy Pelosi, and Steven Spielberg and other Progressive Socialists.

Obama arrived in Los Angeles for a fundraiser at the home of “ER” and “The West Wing” executive producer John Wells and his wife, Marilyn.

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and Rep. Chris Van Hollen (D-Md.), chairman of the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee, also are expected to attend.

The Los Angeles Police Department said it had received a number of calls from people about the traffic but had not been given information on street closures from the Secret Service.

On Twitter, motorists reported that traffic was at a standstill in Hollywood and the Miracle Mile. Others reported that Olympic Boulevard was closed in Beverly Hills.

While Progressives are looking for a positive foundation to build a platform, Obama’s teleprompter writers can only come up with the bash and hate Bush line.

Unfortunately for President Obama, as he feigns or ignores the impotence and failures of his policies he only draws attention to them through a figurative method termed paralipsis. It is absurd to think that the country has not noticed the dismal failures and to not only ignore the failures when he begs for money from the Progressive sycophants, but to cast the blame of the failures on the previous administration only compounds the ongoing paradox that is Obama.

Paradoxically, if Obama can’t create a polemic of hatred or at least a major disagreement by blaming Bush, the public has no one to direct their frustration and anger towards besides Obama. Bush hatred is his only attention grabber, without it he runs on empty. Thus Obama, with limited ability and failed policies is trapped in a perpetual paradox; the paradox of a Socialist ideologue who has no chance because of the inherent failure of the ideology of Socialism.

Standing proud of the health Care Bill that few wanted and even fewer now want, now that the country is feeling the increases and realizes the lies told for its passage, maintaining the paradoxical nature of the Stimulus Bill that enriched bankers while enslaving America’s future generations to debt for nothing, for nationalizing a failing American auto Company and ripping off preferred stockholders to ensure Union Jobs and Pensions, a move that has further alienated Americans not to buy from Government Motors, for rewriting the rules for Wall Street without input from the Republicans, the paradox of bowing to foreign dictators and apologizing for the actions of heroic Americans throughout our history, for pandering and embracing our enemies while insulting our allies, the paradox of opening our borders to felons and calling them immigrants; yes, this is the paradox of a failed President with the Audacity to ask for “Hope” while begging for chump change from the Progressives of The Left Coast and offering only more of the same.
