That’s just too funny. I wonder if he says those things and thinks to himself “It seems like I’ve said that before.” He needs a new speech writer.

And polls also show that the American have even less faith in the Republican Party, and that Obama’s approval ratings are higher than Reagan’s, while facing a similar situation. It seems that if you are supposed to be reporting the facts, you’d at least report all of them.

Is Regan returning from the grave… is that why his “approval ratings” are relevant to the price of turds in turdmekistan?

@tadcf: The same Wash Post poll shows that Americans want the GOP to retake Congress.

So much for your clutching at straws.

It should also be pointed out to tadcf that they were clearly wrong about Reagan’s abilities.
It it obvious they are not when it comes to obama’s.

Mike, that link you provided is interesting. I especially love this little tidbit from Axelrod

AXELROD: But, Jake, we are still in the midst of a very difficult economic time. The fact that it’s much better than it was when we took over does not mean that it’s good. And we don’t accept it that way. We accept the challenge of moving this economy forward, and we’re going to keep launching initiatives, and they don’t all involve spending.

Really? I know more business that have gone under in the past 2 years alone. More strategies that don’t involve spending? Seriously? Can you really make that argument after spending over 1 trillion?

obama seems to think that being a president is the same as being a figurehead from another country……

Looking at that video, I had a sudden inspiration (for someone with cash). Billboards with continual revolving idiocy. Maybe, a running tally of his parties/date nights/golf games; or a mounting tally of his miles on AF 1 and the cost; a diary of what he did day by day on the oil spill until he noticed it. People get really turned off seeing the same thing over and over. Think how annoying it would be to be stuck in traffic and be reminded of govt. goofers. I think 0 on his own has managed to show himself too much, and it will not take many more “exposures” to cause a nation-wide gag reflex, it’s practically a patriotic duty to help him along.

RE: Obama’s approval ratings…it is simply called one thing… cult of personality. It has NOTHING to do with whether or not Obama is deserving of such approval ratings. He is a disaster, but sadly most people have been dumbed down on purpose by the radical left who has infiltrated our schools, institutions, every level of government, etc. They don’t know what he and his administration have actually been doing nor do they care. It has nothing to do with reality–it has to do with ignorance and a self-centered/self-absorbed society.

When you figure it from the angle I think it is, all Obama has to do is read the speech, so he has all the time between decisions or speeches to do whatever he wants. He doesn’t make any decisions on his own. Others are pulling the strings and writing TOTUS’s speeches. Remember the TOTUS speech he read clear through and didn’t know it wasn’t his, and that he goes blank when the TOTUS fails? He is The Great Reader.

If he has read the speeches ahead of time he would know when to emphasize certain words or phrases. The way he does it is like a computer voice.

@Smorgasbord:

I watched him yesterday, it reminded me of my third grade classroom. My teacher taught us that commas were slow down caution signs, periods were stop signs. When he spots the period, he constantly accents that last word. My teacher would have given him a “very good” for a third grade reading capability, she may have even patted him on the head. But, he’s an adult now, and it’s very annoying, he seems to be still waiting for that pat on the head. :roll:
