The Greatest Ecological Disaster In The History of The United States And Obama Tells Us We Need Windmills [Reader Post]

Loading

The Gulf Oil Spill has at least allowed Obama to make good on one of his campaign promises: he has managed to unite the country, the country is now more united than it has been in years; of course, we are united against the foolish Progressive Agenda of the Clown in Chief.  Even the most dedicated Socialists and the most fervent Obama ideologues are realizing that Obama has neither the ability nor the experience to guide a country through this disaster or any other emergency.  Rather than seeking solutions to our immediate problems, he is advancing the energy agenda that he has been behind since day one; an energy program that is detrimental to the integrity of our economy and our way of life.

The American people are now ready to rebel at the thought of conical straw hats and black pajamas that Obama  has envisioned for America.  Once he has crippled our economy and weakened our national energy program by replacing wicked oil with technologies that don’t exist on a practical scale, he will be within striking distance of declaring America a Third World Country.  Obama’s dreams of a supplicating American people begging from their bicycles for the essentials of life from the rest of the world, while he is portrayed as a great visionary who brought this great country to its knees.

Although Obama was raised in a Socialist sewer and mentored in the Socialist and Communist traditions throughout his life, he is oblivious to the fact that, despite the Socialist Indoctrination of our Public School Systems, the idea of International Socialism is abhorrent to most Americans and is not part of the American psyche.

Most Americans are not equipped to be humble and make suppliant entreaties to the Chavez and Castro type leaders of the world while asking forgiveness for being so bold as to be exceptional, rather than an outstanding mediocrity like our president.

While the rest of the world laughs at our impotent president pontificating about the environment and windmills, and his nonsensical handling of the Oil Spill, they are busy getting ready to tap those same reserves in international waters and make billions from one of the greatest reserves in the world.  While we have studies and ponder over the effect drilling has on minnows that no longer exist because of Obama’s dithering over the impact on the environment, countries like China, Cuba, and Vietnam will be drilling the Gulf all to Hell and they will care less about the silliness of Obama and his dreams of International Socialism.

November will be here soon, it is time to plan to place people in office who have had it with this enemy of the country ruining our way of life.  It is imperative that we elect people who are ready to at least  neutralize America’s greatest enemy and hopefully impeach him.  America has come too far to drop the ball by letting this empty headed dilettante continue on with his plan for destroying America.  Be committed or be prepared to watch your children and grandchildren live in a Socialist cesspool of poverty from which there will be no escape.

You do realize?? Obama is a MORON…

Not to worry, we found the dilithium crystals in Afghanistan. Once we send the out of work NASA scientists to Kabul, they will figure out (using their Nobel Laureate knowledge) how to generate energy in the warp core. Then we can disband all the armies in the world and create Star Fleet. As astute Trekkies know, there is abundant energy in the future, and they don’t use money anymore.

(I could never figure out how they paid for their vacations on planets they visited).

Interesting thought there, Skookum.

Is corruption a market-based concept? For all the tilting toward socialist ideology that Obama demonstrates, is he really just for sale to the highest bidder? Could we buy him back?

Obama is one of those people that most of us knew in college. They hang around the coffee shops, or the student center, or wherever, with their shirts unbuttoned inhaling cigarettes and analyzing the world. They dream of a world where they are in charge and those people with less brilliance (such as the waitress that just brought coffee) are doing as they are told, and thrilled that finally someone is in charge that really gets it.

These people are very arrogant and very ignorant, but usually the only damage they do is boring anyone within hearing distance, and of course creating ignorant student clones once they have tenure.

But if one of those clowns ever gets real power, they do so much more damage.

@John: I agree

I read on Mark Levin’s website that Jamie Gorelick will represent BP when the manure starts to fly. She has got to be one of the world’s worst lawyers. She did the misdirect on the FBI and CIA before the 911 attack, thus making them practically useless. Her legal office billed Fanny Mae over 20 million when Franklin Raines cooked the books for unwarrated bonuses from a busted mortgage insurance entity. She did the smokescreen, and should be in jail for fraud. What an epic scenario for the feds, having this synchophant representing BP? This should be world class corruption coming up.

Before placing those people in charge, don’t forget to ask them to explain in detail how they plan to correct each of the nation’s problems. A host of complex problems were catching up with us long before our current President arrived on the scene. Turning around three times while chanting “Begone Obama!” and clicking the heels of their magical ruby slippers together probably won’t prove to be quite enough to solve them.

OK Greg,

Real bad stuff = Obama = BUSH

I get it.

Without your cool headed approach, I might have got lost in my desire to get all the lousy scum Democrats out of office. I’m OK now. Thanks

But the point everyone (Left, Right and Mediocre) can agree upon without a conspiracy theory (convincing as it is) such as Obama being a Socialist, is OBAMA is INCOMPETENT. It’s called Hanlon’s Razor: Never attribute to malice that which can be adequately explained by stupidity.

Hanlon’s Razor

Wow…you douchebags are a hoot! The eevul socialist in the White House is ruining our country! Do you assholes have any idea how incredibly ignorant and just plain stupid you sound? Get rid of government and let the Free Market rule! What a pathetic group of know-nothing morons.

@Larry:
i disagree with your broad-stroking assessment of the right (and usually name calling is more indicative of the owner), but I think most of the people here are pointing out things that are readily observable. We have been saying from day one, that Obie has no leadership ability. Its just now having to be played (spelled) out, through a massive eco-disaster, to those who were overly blind.

I personally wouldn’t go so far as to say, that he wants us riding bicycles and would be happy to destroy our country. I think he is still an American, and I believe in the right to have differing opinions. However, either way you look at it: I would rather live in a free market, than die a slave to government.

At a basic level, the left embraces government, the right does not embrace government. The left wants the government to take care of the homeless, the right usually takes it upon themselves (research indicates that by far, the most generous people in the country are on the right – not the left). The left hates the military, but supports the troops – only the left could come up with something like that and think it makes sense. The right supports the military and the troops, and views them both as unfortunately necessary. Ever notice that most of the military personnel you run into, are mostly the same people that you bash (on the right) for not understanding how America should be run? Americans that actually know how much the price of freedom costs, because they have seen firsthand, the tags hanging from the body-bags of their friends.

@Greg: Before placing those people in charge, don’t forget to ask them to explain in detail how they plan to correct each of the nation’s problems.

Oh, I see how that works. The GOP need to detail it out, point by point, so you can find things to nitpick to death, but you prefer to elect inefficient, ideologues with catchy vague phrases… like “hope and change”, posturing in front of styrofoam columns with flashing lights and fireworks.

🙄

You’ll have to look to your peers to find those dumb enough to fall for that routine, Greg.

@Liam, so very kind of you to actually put together a cogent reply to such unmitigated hate and pointless commentary. Truly better than it deserves. And I doubt it will be grateful for your gracious acknowledgement of it’s pitiful existence and limited thought processes .

@Skookum:
Not sure it is worth trying to paint me (a hardcore capitalistic conservative) in equally broad strokes as larry above. Phrasing such as

Since that man is an enigma and a dilettante, why do you steadfastly believe…

isn’t going to work in favor of your rhetoric. To make the statement, “why do you steadfastly believe..” would indicate that I post here enough, and with enough ‘pro-obama’ content, to make the rest of your argument(s) valid. I’m not pro-obama, I post from time-to-time, and have been at FA for years.

Anyway on to your question/point, I do feel the primary problem is that that Obama is A) a majorly deluded Ideologue and B) filled with good intentions. Albert Einstein said, “The difference between stupidity and genius is that genius has its limits.” I think the limit of what Obama is capable of doing in his ignorance/arrogance is limitless, but to the outside world, we have to be careful and deliberate about how we use our words or express what we believe to help change minds.

Another old saying (that i pretty much live by in many ways) is that you get more bees with honey than vinegar. I don’t think we need to hide facts or dispute legitimate problems, like obies total incompetency with this disaster (and even comparisons to katrina), but it becomes problematic when you influence those in the middle of the road, that you are too extreme for them. The left is doing a good job of that currently, so let’s let them finish the job, and hang themselves with the rope they borrowed from the american public. It is my belief that we need to get back to the foundations: reduce government and let people make choices encapsulated by freedom. If we come across as the people/party that are paranoid that Obama is a communist alien that can read our thoughts, therefor everyone needs to triple layer their aluminum helmets to be safe, we can be sure that we will not gain favor in this country.

With that said, I am with you on 99.9% of your posts (and enjoy them quite a bit actually) ; the over-reaching posts just happen to not sit well with me, as I am of the opinion that we aren’t necessarily trying to convince conservatives of this stuff (we have been saying it from the beginning), we have to reach across to the lost and confused (a product of mtv’s vote or die drives), and make sense – not sound reminiscent of the crazies on the other side. I believe Mike tries to flame me from time-to-time in a similar fashion, but I know what I stand for and believe. I would rather convince someone of my rhetoric, than enforce their view that I exist on the plane of an extreme philosophy. The only extreme I exist at, is I am a hardcore Christian, I have no other savior (government or otherwise), and I am to treat other people the way God has indicated for me to treat them. My enemies I try my hardest to pray for, and those I dislike I give my possessions to, and to Cesar I give what is his. Politics will die, fuel will run out, our earth is finite, and the sun will eventually stop shining. At which point, we would have gotten a super close look as it engulfed us in fire on its way to becoming a red-giant 😉

“The difference between stupidity and genius is that genius has its limits.â

Dang, Albert was a smart guy. 💡 Obviously, the POTUS has a problem with limitations…

I have my moments 😈

@Skookum: Thank you very much for those kind words (especially over this medium, to someone you haven’t personally met). I totally understand what you are saying, and (as mentioned) think very highly of all your writings/responses. It is rare to read content like yours. I am especially outdoor-centric, so to hear tales about your life is really cool. I have this thing about surrounding myself with people smarter than i am, so please keep up the great work!

#14 “Oh, I see how that works. The GOP need to detail it out, point by point, so you can find things to nitpick to death, but you prefer to elect inefficient, ideologues with catchy vague phrases…”

Catchy phrases sometimes capture bits of very good advice. Don’t buy a pig in a poke might be one that all voters should think more about. Another is The devil is in the details. I tend to be suspicious in the absense of any details at all.

@Greg

Don’t buy a pig in a poke

You mean like the Democrats did in nominating Obama?

Before placing those people in charge, don’t forget to ask them to explain in detail how they plan to correct each of the nation’s problems.

You mean like the Democrats failed to do when they nominated Obama?

The devil is in the details. I tend to be suspicious in the absense of any details at all.

Yet, the Democrats weren’t suspicious when they Nominated Obama.

Holy crap, Skookum trolls here, too? You sure do get around.

SKOOKUM: I am always impress with your posts and your comments very intelligently put on
the screen, hopfully gatherd in a book, that will be” the run for it” by all of us and beyong.

LIAM: hi, I can understand the rules of reaching to the undecided, and YOU always put that cooling measure to show the inner core of conservatives, I myself was taken by thoses hidden vertues
but the undecideds will find it if they take the time to reflect and desire to be teach CONSERVATIVES VALUEs so they also can teach their children to carry the torch in the future.
