I think the next few months will be the most critical period in the history of the United States: if we don’t stop the Marxist, there will be no United States next year!
Yes, people will mention the Civil War and the World Wars, but we have never faced such an insidious enemy who just happens to reside in the White House and controls the Legislature and will likely soon control the SC. He also controls a massive Propaganda Machine and is on the verge of importing millions of new voters to swamp people who actually fuel this great country and its economy.

No, I don’t support Obama in any way shape or form politically, but this enemy of the state was elected by majority.
I have left behind several who refuse to even listen to what they have been willfully blind to see. Not family, but a few friends. Lot’s of my family voted for him, and they’re now madder than I am at the outcome. They feel betrayed, and foolish for trusting the media, and the Dem party.

Obviously, many people were sucked in by the propaganda and hype of the Obama/Soros promotion. The cards are on the table, no matter how you voted: if you are ready to watch the Constitution be ignored and our freedoms and the country be altered by this champion of Marxism and his sycophants who hope to be the Socialist Elites of the future, you are a part of the problem. This has become a desperate battle to save the beacon of freedom for the world, so far, it is a battle without weapons, except for these silly keyboards that can cut so deep. Hey Danny. I suspect a number of FA readers share in Skookum’s sentiments and the way he chooses to express them.
And as much as I respect and value Skookum and the writing he brings to FA, I don’t believe that in mainstream company, it helps our side to make statements like, “Obama is the enemy of the United States” or “Obama wants to destroy America”.
I think to moderate Americans, those in the mainstream center-left or center-right, that kind of language can be alienating and a turnoff.
When the KosKiddies and DUers and their ilk call Cheney Satan and Dubbya “Bushitler” and similar over-the-top beliefs and statements, I firmly believe that most normal Americans see these guys as fringies who have lost their mind.
I think such demonization only hurts the ones who are making the charge.
And yes, living in LA, most of the people I come across are still Obama supporters; still sporting their bumperstickers.
But then, I don’t think most of them are really paying close attention. I’d even place a bet that a number of those who voted for him only are vaguely aware of the healthcare bill showdown and its signing.
Wordsmith, I realize that the diplomatic approach will catch more bewildered people than the hard sharp edge of people like myself; yet we will never convert die hard Socialists. You are a voice I respect on this cyber page, and I regard your words with the utmost consideration. Although, I suspect that many who read these pages and write on these pages are reluctant to express their true feelings. If we would have expressed our feelings before the election, we would have been considered maniacs; now, it is obvious we would have been totally justified in expressing our opinions.
We were reluctant to question the fact that a man was running for the presidency without a history, a move that would have never been tolerated by a White Man; but because he was Black and because of this White guilt perpetuated by the Socialist media, we excused this fraud because of his race.
I believe the situation is going to get worse at a much faster rate. @Skookum…I completely agree with your stance on El Presidente. I call him that because he seems more like a Castro or a Chavez type “El Presidente” than a United States President. He carries himself in a petulant, childish manner and has no respect for the office he holds. His rigid ideology, while infuriating to the vast majority of the country, will prove to be his downfall.
Obama won the election because, in part, he portrayed himself as a pragmatic centrist. That’s the image sold to us. He won over the moderates and independents in the center.
Of course you won’t influence the entrenched liberals who share his ideological vision. It doesn’t matter what tone and tact you take. Essentially, for many of them, calling Obama a Marxist, they’d read that as a positive.
But when it comes to mainstream, ordinary Americans, many who get most of their information from mainstream news outlets, I just think that you stand a better chance to influence them by not “clubbing them over the head” with the kind of rhetoric that makes you out to appear to be a fringe radical. If you come across as an extremist in your views, I think a lot of middle-of-the-road folk simply “tune out”. But if you finesse your way in and gain a receptive ear, then they are more likely to arrive at the same conclusions as you have done.
I know a number of people who refuse to listen to someone like Rush, not just because he’s been trashed by the media that they listen to, but because his “delivery system” can indeed be off-putting to people in the center. They simply tune out without ever really hearing the substance of the message.
I want to get people to listen (people other than my own echo chamber and amen chorus of likemindeds); not to tune me out as a wingnut whackjob in the camp of birthers and troothers.

Antics, Word smith is correct, we must earn to channel our rage and be creative, lest we frighten away the fence walkers who could never accept the fact that we have a Socialist in the White House, even if he admitted it, they are from the see no evil, hear no evil, peak no evil crowd. Who among us would have believed we would ever have this enigma in the White House. I dare someone to argue that one. There were those who refused to believe that there were Soviet Spies in Washington for over fifty years and still refuse to believe the accusations despite the release of KGB files that document an army of spies within our government, from the twenties up until the end of Vietnam.
Although it is patently obvious that we are being undermined, we must put our creative energies to use to try and capture the hearts and minds of as many Americans as possible, so that we can win at the ballot box and thus avoid the final solution. Mark my word, we are engaged in battle, the Left has been engaged for decades; but truthfully, I think they are kind of dense or else they wouldn’t fall for such crap. That is where we have the advantage, even though the have a head start; we don’t have the personality disorders that allows the BS and I believe we have a greater cerebral ability.

Gaffa you think in very small terms as a consumer, I personally don’t care how the clerk at WalMart voted, but if one of the vendors I use for maintaining one of my businesses makes it known that he is an Obama fan, I will drop all future commerce with that business. It may not seem like a big deal to someone who doesn’t run a business, but the loss of a commercial customer can be enough to bankrupt many businesses. And if that seems funny or cute to you, I can see why you are a Progressive Socialist.
Few businesses have the nerve to advertise their Progressive Politics and most have turned away from Obama. Both of my hay suppliers, Hispanic Americans, have realized their mistake in voting for Obama and are anxious to see what Conservatism has to offer in these next two years. They have laid off most of their help and if it weren’t for living a country life style and doing most of the work themselves they would be bankrupt. I am lucky, my business is gaining momentum and is thriving, if either of these men lost my business because of their political orientation, it might be the end for them. It is no big deal to order a semi-load of hay, farmers will load a truck and have it on the road in the same day from several states away.
GM and Chrysler are feeling the economic pinch from people who refuse to buy from government owned auto companies, I keep several medium sized trucks on my farm and will never replace one with a GM or Chrysler product as long as they are controlled by Obama. Laugh all you want, we will see how these economic screws work, as they are tightened and as the economy continues to falter with the spend and tax ourselves into prosperity program of Obama. I have patience, and a sense of humor; although I rely on wit rather than senseless personal attacks.

But I don’t as habit boycott shops on their political beliefs. I don’t care what my local Woolworths or Coles manager paid personally to which party. Or whether the business as a whole paid money to a political party. That is whether it is Liberal or Labour here in Australia. If I found out it was far left or far right then I would.

I’m not a Progressive Socialist actually. I depise socailism & it’s even uglier sister, communism. I would say I’m an old style economic liberal. Not even a progressive liberal. Free trade is good. Less socially moralising (a trap the Conservatives fall into with they talk about inviduals freedoms and then do all they can to deny people freedoms). And less nanny state.
