When I first read the header I mistakenly thought it said “Obama Not a “Crappy” President?” and was going to have to take issue with it.

What is a liberal to do if no one wishes to be coddled?

The President should take the lame duck prose and just keep his head down for the next three years…we’d all be better off for it.

future generations will no longer call it the Peter Principle … it will be know as the Obama Principle … I actually think he maxed out his leadership skills as a State Senator …

Boo freakin’ hoo.
He was going to lead us all to sweetness and light.
He was the One.
He was the O.
He is the big zero.
I never imagined that a President would know so little about holding office, be so utterly unable to either understand the government or faithfully execute his office. He cannot even distinguish between the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution.
In fact, he resembles George III if one considers carefully the documented instances of oppression which make up the Declaration.
Now we are to have a Health bill which will not even be voted on, merely imposed on us by a Speaker who promises to kick down the door.
He has never created a job. He has no ally left whom he has not offended. He has no enemy left to whom he has not apologized.
No wonder Marxism never succeeded. Marxists are all subnormal.
I eagerly await the 3,000% decrease in my health insurance premium.

Pffft. I’m not even seeing how he’s “working so hard.” Everyone around him is doing all the real work. He’s just the cardboard cutout* they prop up, then turn the big key in his back, when they think he might be useful.

Van Jones and company had a 2000 page/trillion dollar “Porkulus “Bill already in Pelosi’s hand the day he was elected. Pre-done for him. It paid off those who took their workers money to pay for Obama’s election, and what remains unspent, will be used this next election, and the one after that. Even Keynes would have blanched at the miss-use of money that could have doubled our nuke-power percentage. Thus adding efficiencies to the free-market, as the freeway system did in the late 50’s, and airport expansion in the 60’s.

Whatever. Woulda coulda shoulda.

The CapnTax.
He had no input. Couldn’t tell you what DiHydrogen Oxide is, let alone how the carbon cycle works. And Copenhagen was a clown show.

Healthcare.
He does not have a clue what’s really in there. In his defense, neither does any one else in our government.

Afghanistan/Iraq.
We all know what kind of “Big-Boy” decision skills he showed there. He was handed a plan that Bush and Obama’s transition teams co-developed, and it was ready to be implemented in the spring of 09…In the end, after dithering for 6 months, his “GREAT DECISION SKILZ” came to the fore and he cut 10,000 of the total troops requested, and told the enemy how long to wait and re-group.
In Iraq, he’s re-named it to something that reminds the locals of a horrible battle, and has suddenly told the Generals, and Iraqi government to be ready to have that TREATY modified so as to complete the pullout 6 months earlier than agreed apon…BY TREATY.

Diplomacy.
Umm. Where to start, let alone end… He has pissed off EVERY friend, and is being walked on, or at best ignored, by both our non-threatening competitors, and hardened foes alike. He has never come out and emphasized human rights, nor freedom. I give you Iran’s Green movement. Trade partners are pissed, and more and more countries are putting up restrictions because of him.

Banks/economy
Nothing but fake outrage, and a useful target to divert the anger. He has handed them trillions of dollars, and the same time as slapping them for the camera’s in the room. No changes or corrections have been done to reverse the laws and policies, and regulations, and loopholes that made all this happen. NADA. In fact, Barney Frank wants to promise them another 4 trillion dollars. BTW, Social Security has run out of cash this month. 8 years earlier than “forecasted” by the government “experts”. There’s too much more to list…Continues to blame Bush for it all, 14 months later.

It is my contention that the Progressives (NeoFasict’s) destroyed the economy in a purposeful manner in an attempt to control not only public land, education, regulation, media, and the elections, but industry, banking, finance, trade, communications, and healthcare. If they can get 60% of the voting public to either be dependent on government or working for government, they have built their “Candy-Striped House in the Glade in the Forest.”..complete with wild but tame unicorns.

Their motto, as it were:

Work from within. If we can destroy it by overwhelming it, then we can rebuild it in our image.

Barack Obama’s amazingly consistent smile from Eric Spiegelman on Vimeo.

I wish I could give him something to cry about. Old Apache torture tales come to mind.

patvann lists his listlessness. It’s the actions of someone with no talent except to pass the blame to others. Voting “present” for eight years tells it all, this is a man with no convictions. And sneaky enough to know that taking a stand always comes back later and interferes with playing both sides against the middle. Must be hard for him now that everyone has video and keeps bringing up what he said. I think he’s deranged, we know the narcissistic part, but if he doesn’t connect with people one way he won’t in others. Like listening to “no.” It’s like the rapist who is convinced “she wanted it.” Personality disorders’ response to frustration is to fight, whine, withdraw, anything but change.

Poor widdle baby.

Obie has been “tired” and “overwhelmed” since way back in March 2009…when he had been President for only two months.

Running for President is easy….being President, not so much.

I would encourage him to get off the TV. Get off the campaign trail. I would tell him to take his wife, his children, the dog, and Marine One over to Camp David and stay there for the next two years or so.

I’d even be willing for the American People to offer him a cash buyout on his contract so that he can go into early retirement.

He’ll feel much better…and so will the rest of us.

“Formulating rational solutions to complex problems, for sure.”

WT???

This imaginary Obama really exists in the imagination of his sycophants.

But on the bright side, at last, there is something we both agree on. Neither of us want him to be president.

The problem for the Zero, quite simply is that this job he has now requires that he actually do something for which he is going to be held accountable. Little Barry has never faced that before in his life. He can’t have his D’s changed to B’s for him while he is the POTUS.

0bama’s lifelong dream was to be President of a “Banana Republic”.

It isn’t that he is unhappy with being President, it is he is unhappy with how long it is taking to make America into that “Banana Republic”

File this under WHO REALLY GIVES A FLYinG FIG! He’s got a job for the next 3 years (insert heavy sigh here), health care, ugly wife (oh, wait, that’s not a bonus), his every wish is granted, got his own private fleet of planes to dash off to wherethehellistan and we’re supposed to feel sorry for this poor excuse of a world leader?

GIVE ME A BREAK! He could always quit!

Thanks, Mike for the chuckle.

Hussein thought he could move right in as DICTATOR! The American people had a somewhat different idea, robbing him of his 60 vote senate and electing a few republicans after finally realizing they had placed a thug and fascist in the White House. Things will only get worse for Hussein until November makes his last two years a REAL “challenge.”

@ Jeff

Very astute observation.

My life lately has not be a barrel of laughs either, so I guess he can just share the wealth, or lack there of.

Disingenuous words out of context alert!

Mike,

The White House posted on its web site the MD’s report about Obama’s health following the physical. You can read it yourself, but please pay strict attention to this excerpt:

The MD recommended that Obama continue (which means he’s already doing these things) the following:
Continue smoking cessation efforts, daily exercise, healthy diet, moderation in alcohol, periodic dental care, remain up to date with recommended immunizations.

I’ll confess I briefly considered voting republican in 2008, having a pretty good idea of the full extent of what was about to hit the fan, and how that likely would be played against anyone whose job it would be to deal with it. That part is working out about as I expected.

@rockybutte: So what you are saying is that in addition to his doctor’s warning about smoking and drinking Obama has bad teeth and is out of date on his immunizations?

I don’t ever recall a report from Bush’s doctor recommending he continue with his sobriety.

But maybe you can dig that one up for me.

Bu… bu…. but! Poor baby… I still have pictures in my mind of the BO on a bicycle, hanging curtains and fluffling the first pitch in his mommy jeans… Then, I remember Bush in his flight suit and Reagan with a chain saw. Wait! Chain saw… that gives me an idea…

Obama Not a “Happy” President?

Welcome to the club, Barry!

@FedUp: You forgot Bush with a chain saw:

And let’s put up Obie hanging curtains! What a man!

What’s he doing hanging curtains over an exit anyway?

Someone mentioned Mom Jeans?

What’s instantly deemed pathetic to a man with a contractors license, as well as being a 22-year husband who has hung his fair share of curtains, are the following:

DUDE! You’re doin it wrong! You need to hold it at the 90deg bend (yes sir, that elbowee part. ) so that you can tip it up, to have the hole in the top of the curtain rod end, go over the little hook on the top of the mount. Nice that you’re keeping it level, though.

And who the hell painted while drunk?! Does the word MASKING TAPE sound familiar to you? How about a nifty little too called a “cutter”?

Jeebus, even a first grader can color in the lines. Must of been union work.

And yes it is against code to obstruct any and all defined exits, with anything that projects into the defined space. If he was attaching it to the door* itself (like the blinds are ) it would be OK.

*But the best part, is the fact that the WINDOW his putting the pretty curtains over, is not an authorized exit. (It ain’t a door at all.) It could be modified into a fire-exit, but it ain’t one yet.

Further proof that the sign was put there as a prop, is because code requires an indoor exit sign to be illuminated, with battery back-up.

At least Reagan and Bush actually spent several hours doing real work, and not a 30-sec pose for the camera holding his rod wrong.

Reagan at least might have been wielding an American-made chain saw, and apparently knew how to keep the business end out of the mud…

@Greg:

Ohhhh, sorry Greg.

Wrong answer times two.

Stihl chainsaws are manufactured in Virginia Beach, VA…since 1974.

The “mud” you see in the picture is actually where the paint has worn off of the bar.

Thanks for playing though.

How about a point for trying?

My neighbor told me a while back that Stihl chainsaws are made in China now. That sounded so probable I took it as true.

The 70’s era McCulloch Reagan is expertly weilding, was an American company at the time of the picture. (Italy in 1999, now Taiwan.)

It’s Bush with the Stihl

You know, this should come as no surprise. We all knew that lil Barry was an empty suit. It was brought up during the primaries repeatedly and during the main election. He had no qualification and had little political experience.

Sure he wanted it. How many of us arm-chair presidents thing we could do it better? I am sure he thought the same too with the experience he did have.

Then he gets elected and starts his agenda and reality sits in. OH WAIT! You mean I have to actually work to get people to agree with me? I can’t just smile and say “Hope and Change” and they fall in line?
What do you mean Bi-Partisan? I thought that was just a word.

I am sure somewhere in all of this Barry thought the following:
“It seriously can’t be that hard! Look how easily that idiot George Bush did it!”

World leaders view him as weak (as is often the case with democrats), and now those friendly foreign leaders don’t think so highly of poor Barry.

And now, he is asking every democrat to fall on the sword and they are fighting.

Lets face it, his EGO is taking a pounding right now. Suddenly, being the POTUS is a really tough gig. One that he is not qualified for and it shows.

The economy continues to suck and all Barry, Harry & Scary(Nancy) want to do, is ram legislation down our throats. Barry fiddles while the U.S. burns.

What scares me are those over at Huff-n-Puff (huff-po) and Move-on think he is doing a fine job.

@Greg said: “That sounded so probable I took it as true. ”

Seems to me libs do that far too often. You’d think they would learn.

@Patvann: Let’s not correct Obama on his curtain hanging technique. If those shades fall down it might be the only glimpse we get into what is really going on (in a metaphorical sense).

Never send a boy to do a man’s job.

@Mike

Speaking of metaphorical…That exit sign he’s facing speaks to me.

Leave O’Dumbo alone, he’s new at trying to be a man of the house. He took that over from MO and she’s plenty manful. Wonder if she pulls the plow in the WH garden.

BHO never seems happy. . . As a State Senator . . .
Critical stories written (Chicago, Illinois papers) about his lack of attentiveness to his job, seemed quite busy strategizing his run for US Senator, and was critiqued for letting his political ambitions drive his voting decisions (including voting Present at record levels). He actually seemed to be laying out his Presidential platforms in columns he wrote for two Chicago neighborhood papers.
—————————————-
(Nothing wrong with ambition — but BHO’s columns were very telling to how he IS
operating as President — The Weekly Standard wrote an in-depth, LENGTHY review of
BHO’s State Senate Years using the words from his columns. This article actually sheds
light on some WH manuevers going on right now. Maybe Obama has planned and
schemed for so long to get where he is at, he is melting down because he cannot get his
way. . .yet? This is well worth the read if you did not catch it in 2008 and TWS should
perhaps be re-publish.)

As a US Senator. . .
Harry Reid wrote in his recent book that he knew Nobama wasn’t exactly happy in his role as a US Senator and he encouraged him to run for President. Here is a critical article about then US Senator Obama. . .2005 critic surmised a lot of the way O voted was to launch a Presidential career.
http://www.davidsirota.com/2005/05/whats-happened-to-barack-obama.html

As President. . .
Is he already bored, not happy because all his planning has not made him more popular, or Constitutionally effective? Did he promise too much to get to his current position? Is he again angling his actions for some future role? Maybe international? Might he end up being a thorn in some future President’s side ala Jimmy Carter or worse?

Pretending to be a President may be far more challenging than being a Community Organizer or a Pretend Professor of Constitutional Law without ever publishing a peer reviewed paper or even a grocery list. He has met these challenges in the past with a lackluster flair, I think he has managed to meet the challenges of the Presidency with an even greater commitment to unchallenged mediocrity. Give the man a break, it is difficult managing a country without the benefit of Affirmative Action paving the way.

But the plane is nice and a real blast to fly around in.

Transforming the country into a bankrupt socialist state is tough work.

Aye– Thanks, you made my day.

Gag me with a Smurf! I think he tried to hold his breath until he turned blue & that didn’t work either. Somehow that adoration he became addicted to hasn’t translated into the spoiled brat getting everything he whined for. So Boo freaking Hoo. “Meanwhile, in other news, popcorn sales have gone up while the world watches the left implode.” (Not my quote, it came from some other witty pundit on the web! Can’t remember who it was but I loved it!)
