Imagine if a male Republican had said “send the ladies home.” Like Harry Reid’s “Negro” comment, no one will bat an eye at this!

From The Hill: Rep. Carol Shea-Porter (D-N.H.) said that both Republican and Democratic women members of Congress understand how to care for relatives and thus want the healthcare system to change.

“We go to the ladies room and the Republican women and the Democratic women and we just roll our eyes,” she said. “And the Republican women said when we were fighting over the healthcare bill, if we sent the men home…” at which point she was interrupted by loud applause.

The rule for Democrats: you can say whatever you want and still feel free to be outraged if a Republican says anything remotely similar!

I saw this too, but my take is a little different. Shea-Porter would have us believe that the GOP women actually agree with the socialist agenda, if only it weren’t for those evil conservative men who somehow won’t let them vote their collective minds. She was able to ascertain this knowledge from an eye roll, and a piece of fictitous dialogue. This clueless dolt should take a look at her own caucus to watch the stampede away from this POS. I will agree with one point though, it should be finished by the end of a weekend. Once these congress critters sober up, they should drop the whole bad idea, and never bother the American People with it again.

Has she talked to Michelle Bauchman, Lisa Murkowski, Sue Myrick, Jo Ann Emerson, Judy Biggert, Shelley Moore Capito, Marsha Blackburn, or Virginia Foxx. Obviously not.

Interesting concept, making a fool of yourself as a congresswoman and blaming it on someone else. A cheap trick learned from trolls, throw out divisive statements while feigning innocence. Casting guilt with an indirect and dubious attack, thus trying to rally independent and Republican Lite women by instilling doubt, nice try; but hardly original or effective.

In my view most budget minded women who are used to running a household and living within their means would understand what a “Trojan Horse” this health care bill is and that we simply cannot afford it in its current form. The woman who never manage their own checkbooks or who cannot concieve that you can’t just run up debt and have to pay for it will not understand and will not worry about the cost.

I am sure that many many women want affordable health care, but the key is affordable, not one that will kill our jobs and make our children pay for it.

I really believe that before we elect people to any position within government, the public should see a copy of their credit report. I believe if they can’t live within their own means, and they run up debt and run out on it, expecting others to pick it up for them, they shouldn’t be elected to office. I am personally thinking of that congresswoman or is it a senator from California who has seven foreclosures and thinks that there is nothing wrong with sticking others with her bills.

That is my personal opinion.

Ho-hum. Another tempest in a tea-pot (or tea-party?) stirred up by the GOP. Although many a truth is said in jest, the apoplexy from the right is curious.

I’m getting so tired of listening to the Republicans whine about how misunderstood they are. They got us into the mess we currently find ourselves in and pretend they had nothing to do with it.

It’s time for the party to put on it’s grown-up clothes, acknowledge they lost and everything they did while they were in power is now backfiring on them.

Yes there are many conservative women who have problems with the bills, but it would be easier to negotiate with them than the old white men went home and kept their respective mouths shut.

BTW – Michelle Bauchman and Virginia Foxx are raving lunatics.
