Dems Going Nuts W Anger After Mass Upset

Loading

White House talking heads are confused and disorganized:

“People are working harder,” White House senior adviser David Axelrod said Sunday on ABC’s “This Week,” referring to the economy. “If they have a job, they’re working harder for less. They’re falling behind. That’s been true for a decade. They look at a wave of irresponsibility from Wall Street to Washington that led to that. And those were the frustrations that got the president elected in the first place, and they were reflected again on Tuesday” in the Massachusetts election.

“Instead of fearing what may happen, let’s prove that we have more than just the brains to govern—that we have the guts to govern. Let’s fight like hell,” Mr. Plouffe wrote, striking the same chord Mr. Obama did at a town-hall meeting in Ohio Friday and likely will Wednesday in his first State of the Union address.

On “Meet the Press,” White House senior adviser Valerie Jarrett said, “What we learned from the Massachusetts victory is that people are sick and tired of Washington not delivering for them.”

NYT Frank “I’m a Moron” Rich took his shots at begging Obama to actually DO something with all this power the Dems have.

It’s too late to rewrite that history, but it may not be too late for White House decisiveness. Whatever happens now — good, bad or ugly — must happen fast. Each day Washington spends dickering over health care is another day lost while the election-year economy, stupid, remains intractable for Americans who are suffering.

MSNBC’s uber partisan cable TV talking head, Ed “Don’t Adjust Your Volume, It’s My Shrill” Schultz, got into it w Obama’s Press Sec, Robert Gibbs. They started calling each other names, dropping F-bombs on each other, and that’s what passes for political allies in the DNC circles these days!
Politico cites several examples of how the DNC’s run-to-mommy political crutch of the past 10 years is no longer useful, and claimed that Bush-bashing was a waste of time. Then the next day, James “Cryptkeeper” Carville writes in FT…that Dems haven’t learned to blame Bush enough (yeah, I know…I laughed too). Meanwhile, the gay community which thought Obama was O-fabulous during his years of campaigning (all the while ignoring his beauty contest position on Gay Marriage) is also getting pissed off-this time about his continuing to make homosexuality a crime in the military.

But my absolute, no holes barred, complete, total example of Dem on Dem bashing comes from a whiner over at Common[ist] Dreams. It’s a huge huge read filled with all the usual far leftwinger nutroots wackjob bullshit you’d expect (and…that is becoming more and more laughable), but this writer takes Obama to task like nothing I have ever seen before.

There’s only one political party in the entire world that is so inept, cowardly and bungling that it could manage to simultaneously lick the boots of Wall Street bankers and then get blamed by the voters for being flaming revolutionary socialists.

It’s the same party that has allowed the opposition to go on a thirty year scorched earth campaign, stealing everything in sight from middle and working class voters, and yet successfully claim to be protecting ‘real Americans’ from out-of-touch elites.

It’s the same party that could run a decorated combat hero against a war evader in 1972, only to be successfully labeled as national security wimps.

Just to be sure, it then did the exact same thing again in 2004.

It’s the same party that stood by silently while two presidential elections in a row were stolen away from them.

How ‘bout dem Dems, eh?

Boys and girls, ladies and gentlemen…there are 281 days left until the midterms. Since 2006 Democrats have been running out of promises, taking ownership of issues, using up their excuses, and now…the wheels are coming off the hippie bus. EVERYONE from one end of the spectrum on the far right to those on the far left, EVERYONE is saying it’s time to put up or shut up. It’s time to either make people’s lives better or go down hard.

No one is settling for excuses. “Bush’s fault” doesn’t cut it anymore ’cause whether or not true…it’s more true that it’s Dems’ responsibility now. Blaming all the world’s ills on Iraq doesn’t cut it since Dems ain’t pulling out now that they’re responsible for the after effects of premature evacuation. “We Inherited XYZ” doesn’t calm down the gay rights advocates who wonder why Don’t Ask/Don’t Tell is still a policy. “Give the man a chance” doesn’t wash in year 2 of a presidency. Republicans blocked this and that doesn’t work when the next question is, “How many votes does it take to have a filibuster?” Obama and the Dems are outta viable excuses.

They have 281 days to prove-no…TO EARN their jobs or they will be let go in exchange for people who can’t do any worse. Yes, that means President Obama too for he has 281 days until he either does something or becomes a lame duck.

Oh, and let’s not kid ourselves, if the real unemployment rate in the country is 15-18%…does anyone think those unemployed are gonna re-elect Dems? That 15-18% voting block is huge when considering most elections are already won and lost by far less than that percentage.

Again…White House senior adviser Valerie Jarrett said, “What we learned from the Massachusetts victory is that people are sick and tired of Washington not delivering for them.”

The leftards are unbalanced and unpredictable. Hopefully the democrat-machine will not be able to produce the fraud in the next two election cycles that they’ve produced up to now. Hopefully too, the great, unwashed, bitter-clinger-masses will rise up and vote anyone associated with this administration and this libtard- Congress out of office.

We need a reset button alright. Reset to constitutional government, limited Federal Government and tort reform.

“decorated combat hero” … wow, thats rich … decorated with 3 purple hearts and no scars to show for it … the only “man” to ever have used the 3 purple heart exemption to leave a combat zone early … who then “threw” someones medals (not his) over the White House fence while protesting the war … the only American to have ever been in Cambodia on xmas of 1968 while Nixon was President … John Kerry of the “magic hat” … John Kerry, the “run away, run away” SWIFT Boat captian who fled the ambush that got him his last Purple Heart (a bruise from being slammed into the cockpit when he directed his coxswain to bug out) …
Kerry is lucky he is still able to walk and eat solid food after what he did to slander his fellow servicemen from the ‘Nam. Its amazing nobody beat the tar out of him. (note to self, add to bucket list)

ED Schultz said:

So I told Robert Gibbs, I said and I’m sorry you’re swearing at me but, you know I’m just trying to help you out. I’m telling you you’re losing your base.

Do you understand that you’re losing your base?

I think we know and Obama knows that their base IS the problem.

old Ed is such a sharp tool …

independents got Obama elected, the base will still vote Obama in ’12 … lower turnout maybe but they’ll still pull the lever for the Won … if he goes hard left now and he could see a sweep of the House and the Senate in ’10 …

his guys can’t go moderate (Rahm and Axlerod), they owe too many people too much that can and would be used against them very publicaly to smear them and by extension Obama …

I only wish that people would quit referring to the Obamazoids as hippies. I was an original hippie in the mid sixties and we were definitely anarchists, not communists! Disorganization was the cultural value, not astroturfing and lock-step adoration, except possibly of the musicians, but there were so many good ones around that was impossible. 🙂
These guys are to hippies as orcs are to elves, they caused the pain and now it’s karma time.

PS
And I well remember the Weather Underground, the original BP, the Symbionese Liberation Party, Jim Jones, all those angry people. If they were hippies they were definitely the dirty ones–thought they took it too far then, too. They were deviant individuals then, they are the same kind of deviants now.

Jarret and Axelrod are not following the cadre’s phylosophy because they are too young, inexperiance….plus too much arrogance and they are not very smart.

In the book Stalin by Leon Trotsky, the author says:

“The lie is the fruit of contradictions, of struggle, of the clash of classes, of the supression of personality, of the social order” (pg. xiv) This is the lie that the Obama administration is trying to make Americans believe but it is not working out for them.

Trotsky believed that whomever tried to “achieve socialism by any other route than that of political democracy will inevitably arrive at the most absurd and reactionary results both politically and economically” (Lenin wanted to just leap over democracy!)It could be that this step is not working out too well for them either!

Conservatives need to act just like in MA to stop these marxists to reach full control of America with their lies. Too many good hard working families are paying for their Marxist ideologies.

Scott: The headline is misleading. It suggests Dems may still be angry with “W” Bush and be blaming him for all their troubles.

Oh wait… never mind!

I guess my first comments did not go throught. This is the second attempt.

If you read Stalin by Leon Trosky you can understand their state of mind and how these operators really work.
The author of the book says that “the lie is the friut of contradictions, of struggle, of the clash of classes, of the supression of personality, of the social order.” (page xiv) Moreover, Trotsky writes that he wanted to leap over democracy, but Lenin warned that whomever attempts to achieve socialism by any other route than that of political democracy will inevitably arrive at the most absurd and reactionary results, both politically and economically” This was the way that Lenin and Trosky were able to create the undemocratic machine to make an undemocratic revolution. (Introduction by Bertram D. Wolfe, 1967)Sounds familiar? There must be nice Democrats out there, but thi party has been hijacked by radicals that believe in a Marxist revolution that started in the 60’s.

These written lines in this book shows how Obama’s marxist revolution looses credibility because the party machine cannot operate as mandated by the laws. Thus, they have to try to make Americans believe in the lie, the fruit of contradictions. Or else: Bank fees, no more college loans if you are not a member of the party and more taxes!

Let’s get ready for very a very hard year. Get enough supplies and money.

Sooooo as I understand it, Americans are upset because the DC left is NOT destroying the nation and trampling on our rights FORCEFULLY enough!! Gee whiz….and here I thought it was something complicated!

Obama is our clueless paranoid obsessive Captain Queeg and we have just experienced the Brown Mutiny. He has been exposed sitting in the witness chair rolling those metal balls in his hand and the whole crew is jumping ship. Go to my post drawing out this analogy at http://mlajoie2.blogspot.com/2010/01/president-queeg-brown-mutiny.html

See the picture Wordsmith put in his Sunday Funnies of Captain Obama grounded on the reef with everyone jumping off. ! http://www.floppingaces.net/wp-content/uploads/lb0122cd20100121030753.jpg

Jeff – I think he meant McGovern. McGovern was a decorated veteran, but Nixon wasn’t a “war evader”. He was in the Navy in the pacific and rose to the ranks of Lieutenant Commander, although he wasn’t decorated.

The thing the author fails to recognize is that people actually look deeper than medals earned. George McGovern was advocating a withdrawal from Vietnam, and even if you believe that would have been a good idea, people were against it.

The same thing happened with John Kerry. It looks like his medals were fishy, but even if not, people look deeper than that. They saw what he was advocating and didn’t like it.

I think it is a reflection of the general contempt of people by leftists that they believe that the masses aren’t capable of thinking about issues. They always seem to believe that it’s a matter of marketing, and that people reject their ideas not because they are thinking about them but because the other side was better at swinging bobbles in front of their blank stares.

john, i believe he meant john kerry!

@John:

I believe the author meant both elections, as he uses the phrase twice. What he leaves out however are the Bush 41/Clinton, Clinton/Dole, and Obama/McCain elections where the GOP candidate had distinguished careers, and the Socialist candidate did not serve at all. Military service only matters to the left when it fits their purpose. I can even remember a statement by some campaigners for Obama where McCains service was denegrated because, “all he did was get shot down and captured.” Having read the above mentioned article in it entirety, I can tell you that the assertions made are, and I’m being generous here, assinine. Being President is a political distinction, as the founding fathers intended. We want out military to take their lead from our political leaders, and not deciding their own foreign policy. Consistency of any issue has never been a strong suit of the left. I wouldn’t expect consistency on how military service is viewed either.

stodgie and Flyovercountry:

I see your point, and I agree. I thought that was what he meant since he used the phrase in the sentence referring to 1972.

“Iceberg? Screw the iceberg! This is the Titanic, damnit. Ramming speed Rahm!”

I am confused, who said the Obama administration had the brains to blwo their nose with.

If they think we Americans are going to just roll over and fall into Obama’s Communism, I say Mr Axelrod, take that brain in for a checkup because it sems to have gone missing on you.

— It’s the same party that could run a decorated combat hero against a war evader in 1972, only to be successfully labeled as national security wimps. —

Talk about going off the deep end, both McGovern and Nixon served honorably during WWII. Although Nixon could have been given an exemption because of his religion (Quaker) and because he was a government worker, he accepted a commission in the USN and rose to the rank of Lt. Commander. I don’t call that being a war evader.

@Hard Right: Forget the icebergs. Who stole those strawberries!!!!!

Pat, I thought long and hard about using the phrase “hippie bus”, but the imagery was too colorful to pass up. I should have included a disclaimer to make it clear that today’s “progressives” and “liberals” are not at all anything like the Democrats of the 1960’s. The party is about power power and more power

period

mlajoie2, HA!

Well he did want to cut and run from battle just like the “Captain”!

Funny as hell to hear them complaining about “out-of-touch elites” in the wake of Martha Coakley’s “shaking hands at Fenway Park” comment.

http://michellemalkin.com/2010/01/14/martha-coakleys-marie-antoinettejon-corzine-moment/

Been following the Hillbuzz story a bit, it has gotten really, really serious, the Chicago way. The Hillbuzz boys generate heavy blog traffic, they supported Brown and the threats, ginned up by MoveOn and KOS, got much worse for them.

Excerpts from a lengthy open letter to their readers.

Without getting into the ugly details and specifics, because we’re trying to cling to some semblance of privacy and a personal life here, we were warned two weeks ago to discontinue our support for Republican candidate Scott Brown or suffer consequences for backing him, at the expense of Martha Coakley. We were told, point blank, by Democrats in Chicago that people on the Left had “had enough with (us), and were going to come after (us), in a big way” if we didn’t stop rallying the troops for Scott Brown’s win over Coakley. We were given the ultimatum….”

“….we thought the extent of the attacks would be more of the same thing these people usually do, which is to say bad things about this site, to fill our voicemails up with nasty messages, to send more hatemail to our email telling us how much they want us to get AIDS and die, or how they’re going to find us in Boystown and beat us up.

~~~
But, the Kossacks and Moveon.organisms have decided to attack us on the personal, not just the site, level. They are using some of our real names, urging their members to do us personal and physical harm in our real lives, and calling us racists over and over again in the hopes of making us unemployable in the future — because they’ve libeled us by calling us RAAACISTS! on that personal level.
And, you know what, this tactic does have an immediate psychological and financial impact. This weekend, after these attacks from the Kossacks and Moveon.organism began, we lost two freelance jobs because the nonprofits we were working with felt they can’t be associated with people who are being called racists, since these nonprofits work in the black community and here in Chicago there is a neverending turf war on the Southside, where anything is game when it comes to business or politics. People who’ve worked with us in the past decided their own jobs would be in jeopardy if they had us on upcoming projects, because if the black community was riled up against these organizations for having people called RAAACISTS! on the team, then their own jobs would be lost.
~~~~
Now, we were told by several good friends not to talk about any of this, and not to write a post like this taking this on directly. We were also advised to “just stop writing” and all of this would go away eventually. There was even one Democrat who advised us, “if you just stop, and close down the site, I’ll see to it that Kos and the others remove what they are saying, and we’ll help you clean things up on Google”. That sure felt like extortion to us.

This is really what Democrats have become at this point.

~~~~
There’s a good chance the Kossacks and Moveon.organisms will beat us. Maybe they’ll even make good on their threats and kill us. Believe us, we take every precaution we can, but these people are seriously mentally ill, and prove it by doing the things they did this weekend. There is a real and true chance that staying involved in politics, in the face of their threats, could cost us everything.
