Okay, I feel better now. Rush truly is an icon. Whether people love or loathe what he says, the man is walking business model, a living brand, and a self-made genius.

Thanks LORD for answered prayer, we need every Conservative warrior right now! I like the fact that he felt well enough to take a jab at Obama care, well done as usual.

Limbaugh lives on to fight for his and America’s survival another year!

Speaking of healthcare. . .Is this what oBOWma had in mind? This must be BUSH’s fault. . .NOT!

ObamaCare Trend: This Summer Obama Praised Mayo Clinic As Poster Child For Efficency…Today They Stopped Accepting Medicare Patients In Arizona Because Gov’t Pays So Little They Are Losing Money

http://www.bloomberg.com/apps/news?pid=newsarchive&sid=aHoYSI84VdL0

What now Libtards? Just let the older citizens die out? Will you feel the same way as YOU age?

Rush is released from the Hospital with no apparent heart disease. Millions of Wingnuts heads explode in 3……2……1…..

And to think reports of his death were indeed greatly exaggerated. Welcome home Rush.

Awww, the LIBTARDS that were wishing for Rush’s demise are again going to be disappointed…

Rush –

Have them check your gallbladder. Then check on any stomach side-effects with the strong anti-inflammatory you’re taking for your back.

Everyone who was jumping for joy that Rush had died or wishing his death are very shallow and evil people. I am not going to act innoccent, there have been some very evil people such as Hugo Chavez and Saddam Hussien that I have personaly desired to see die but this is not healthy nor sane.

Be careful when you fight the monsters, lest you become one.
Friedrich Nietzsche
German philosopher (1844 – 1900)

I do not want to be a monster, and by wishing the death of another or cheering on the death of another feeds such a monster. I felt miserable for months and finaly had to confess to a priest.

@Mr. Irons. Interesting quote, do you know Mr. Limbaugh? My parents have a close friend that knows him very well, and he’s well-versed in Nietzsche. Of course, I also think he’s mocked the philosopher on his show, but then again, isn’t that his genius?

Ironically, both Nietzsche and Limbaugh have come to be wrongfully associated with Right-wing fascism.

I understand that Rush is not the vitrol spewing hater that Leftist groups attack him for. He is firs and foremost an Entertainer who uses personal points of views as a base for his show.

And as for mocking, Rush didn’t mock the Nietzsche but used his quotes to mock the aggressive attitudes of certain leftist attackers. Rush knows full and well he is the, “Monster” the Left have to fight with each step towards their agendas.

As for Right-Wing Facism, that’s pretty hard to paint on the group of people who orginaly backed abolisment of Slavery and supporters of low taxation and a free market. Last I checked, Rush doesn’t back Corporatism taking hold in this nation, which is considered a Right-wing verison of Facism were Business controls Government.

Yep, he took a jab at the healthcare bill. He said his experience proved there is nothing wrong with our health care system.. Yep, Millionaires can get healthcare.

What an ass!

Now if he was not wealthy and had no insurance would he have gotten the same level of care?

ahhh NOPE…

CRAP, again you point out your lunacy. Any uninsured walks into an ER and gets the care needed. Otherwise why are you bozos whining about the ER costs for the uninsured?

duh wuh….

Now, perhaps you can tell us personally how you believe Rush’s health insurance policy is so superior to an employee’s group or union provided insurance. I suspect you can’t… and this omnipotent claim you make emits from your blind hatred of Rush, and all that mandated “community support” you like to claim you possess. Or I guess you only believe in “community support” for those you like. That would, of course, make it “charity” of choice, and not government mandated charity… which you espouse.

If you cannot relocate the rock from which you emerged, I’m quite sure there’s another one close by to provide a new home.

Real American Patriot comments as if you or I or some poor Hawaiian citizen in the same emergency condition would NOT have been treated the same as Limbaugh had been … and in the Hawaiian hospital? The hospital would have either turned away the patient, or refused to treat and test said patient? The patient would have died in the Hawaiian street?

As I recall, Hawaii (as did Mass.) tried a form of ‘socialized’ healthcare, it failed badly, and they dropped it:

http://tinyurl.com/69xnsj

So the answer is to trash our healthcare in this nation and replace it with what? Something that has failed in Hawaii and RomneyCare in Mass. ( http://tinyurl.com/lx8nqk ) already, and is hitting the big skids in Canada and Eurabia?

No thanks.

Limbaugh’s comments on our healthcare were just that … comments on actual healthcare. The cost is another matter. The ObamaCare Bill does NOT address key issues with our current problems with the cost of healthcare. Instead it piles taxes upon taxes upon taxes to supposedly pay for the bill’s intended ‘clunkering’ of the best healthcare in the world just to control it as an industry run by the government. THEN you’ll see people turned away … and a black market pop up for those who do have money in pocket to pay.

The impression the democrats are allowing to seep into the American mind is that our actual healthcare is bad. As someone with direct family ties to several within the American healthcare system I am insulted and frankly pissed-off to no end of the covert trashing of our healthcare workers (doctors, nurses, etc). Obama himself has in front of cameras and the American people said as much when talking about surgeries and such. These are good and dedicated people (just like or military troops) who deserve a hell of a lot better.

@Real American Patriot: Rush doesn’t have health insurance. He pays CASH!

Get your facts straight!

The only “ass” here is you!

Maggie is right on. When you lose a lot of weight rapidly, your system is on a “high fat” diet… your own fat. This causes the gall bladder to overproduce bile. The result is often gallstones. The pain of gallstones is excruciating and feels like chest pain. That’s my amateur diagnosis… gallstones.

DaNang67 –

Spot-on.

Although, my experience wasn’t stones but the gallbladder’s inability to secrete enough stored bile during digestion after eating. It’s supposed to empty a certain percentage at that time because the liver is then producing more to replace it … but now it ain’t going anywhere and more is coming into the gallbladder.

It REALLY does feel as though you’re having a heart attack. A massive spike through the chest and out the back below the shoulder blade, and a terrible strangling sensation around your neck as if someone were tightening a rope around it.

Certain foods/drink and even smoking will set off a gallbladder attack. I could pretty much time mine. Was sooooo happy when I finally had it removed.

The surgery is quite the best these days. The laparoscopic gallbladder surgery, of which my surgeon was in on the ground floor of, was outstanding. It was outpatient, and I barely had ANY post-op pain to speak of.

Limbaugh’s consistent up and down in weight loss would have an effect, as you stated.

Mike,

Maybe you should read what I wrote before you respond!!!

I did NOT I say he paid with health insurance. I said he is Millionaire that got healthcare.

DUMB ASS

@Real American Patriot: Maybe you should read your own stuff before you call me a dumbass. You said above:

“Now if he was not wealthy and had no insurance “

DUMBASS!

I have a friend from Thailand who needed rabies shots awhile back, and who doesn’t have any local Insurance policies in Wichita, got treatment by a local Hospital with little problem. He had to pay for the treatment with cash and didn’t go broke, but it’s no where near the astronomical nightmare crisis of price the Liberal left wanting Communism are making it to be.

Mike, how do you know that Rush doesn’t have a health insurance plan?

Rush has stated on his radio show that he doesn’t carry any health insurance.

Oh… musta missed that one, Aye. But in response to @Mr. Irons comment, I had a chance to do the cash for medical just this past week. Had a cat bite that got infected, and needed tetanus shot and anti-biotics. $282 total for the nonsense, and would have been $447 if I blindly accepted their demand I buy a $165 splint for my wrist to immobilize it.

The break down… *cash* price (couldn’t get a discount unless I paid, then when thru appeal type process for a discount….).

$50 – tetanus shot
$50 – for the nurse’s assistant to give me a shot …. about 5 seconds, or about $600 per hour services
$13 – a squirt of Hepiclens in warm water to soak my hand/wrist. The Hepiclens costs $5 a bottle at Walmart
$98 – office visit
$70 – generic penicillin that wasn’t on the $4 generic Walmart list

Recommended but refused? $165 for a splint. While waiting for my expensive, rare, newly discovered penicillin drug script to be filled, I got a friend who works at Walmart to walk around as a “personal shopper”. I told her I needed something that was firm, preferably plastic, about 2-3″ wide and about 5-7″ long. We found the perfect thing in the “gadgets” aisle… a pair of plastic salad forks squared off with three tines that costs $5.97 for two. Even “ergonomic” with the curve of the tines. LOL

That plus a $5 ACE bandage, and I was $150 ahead, plus can use them for salads now. heh Gotta love multitasking.

What was very interesting was I made the nurse’s aids and nurse’s practioner price out everything before I agree. They had no clue they charged $50 to administer a shot, thought the price on the splint was outrageous, and understood completely why I refused their offer to sell the splint and a bottle of Hepiclens for 4x the cost it should have been.

Oh yes… they wanted me back for a “follow up” visit two days later. I said “how about I come back if I don’t see improvement and save you time, and me $100?”

Now most people don’t bother to ask what things cost because “someone else”, so to speak, pays for it.

Is there any reason why tetanus and penicillin should be so expensive? Does not the office charge cover the nurse’s aid’s salaries, so why a $50 “labor” charge for giving a shot? And for heavens sake… a squirt of fluid out of a $5 bottle of Hepiclens, plus warm water, is $13????

Yes… costs for medical *are* too high. I never disputed that. What I dispute is what Obama/Pelosi/Reid have planned doesn’t do sheeeeeet to reduce that cost.

BTW, I am healing just fine, and the neighborhood cat still lives…. LOL

@MataHarley: I was tempted to make a “Mrs. Slocum” remark about your recent cat bite, but thought better of it.

Glad Aye clued you in on Rush’s health plan.

You weren’t sticking up for C.R.A.P. were you?

Just didn’t know, Mike. Never heard him comment about his own insurance status before. But then, I can’t always catch a complete show every day.

As far as CRAP… I believe he was insinuating Rush got special treatment… insured or not… simply because of his wealth. I’m rather confused on how he is privvy to Rush’s particular medical treatment to base his opinion of superior care. Last I looked, there are still privacy laws to individual’s medical history. Therefore, CRAP is either admitting he broke laws, or is spouting BS based on personal hatred of Rush.

I must say then that the hospital you went to is grossly over pricing services. Due to private hospitals in my city, the main public ones are forced to compete. Galica E.R. and other private suburban E.R.’s and standard clinics could very well bankrupt Public Hospitals due to just how budgets are handled between private and public firms. My friend’s shot and treatment didn’t cost over 200 dollars, but he didn’t need a split or stiches.

However, I will point out that my father’s heart surgery was going to end up costing 100,000 dollars due to the multiple specialist nurses and staff that are redundant to standard staff. There is a lot of parasites lodged deep within Public Hospital budgets across the nation, which screws the people needing treatment who can pay for treatments.

Not a hospital, Mr. Irons. A rural “urgent care” clinic. The regular clinic was booked up for days. But with an infection, I couldn’t wait days for an appointment… unless, of course, I preferred it traveled to my heart! No stitches needed. The splint I took care of myself. The $282 was merely for an office visit, a shot, soaking my hand, writing a prescription for penicillin, and buying the penicillin. That’s it…. outrageous.

So I didn’t mind the $98 office visit. It was the rest of the stuff…. But then, welcome to the rural world, where the pickin’s are slim. I do agree with our Larry W that we could use a lot of 24/7 clinics for this smaller stuff that needs immediate attention but isn’t life threatening… and take the load off of ERs or urgent care facilities. Darned embarrassing to walk in with an infected cat bite. But stuff like penicillin and shots for these little mishaps should not cost this amount.

No, it shouldn’t cost that much. Hell I wouldn’t be surprised if there was mispending going on within that Clinic’s budget. What greatly sickens me is how large group of medical care providers treat their careers as a form of monoply and their clients are at the mercy of their prices. Some doctors have attempted in recent months to re-start home visits and price their services to what the client can afford, but no thanks to bloatsome lawsuits by special intrests groups and “professional” suers such as Erik Estavillo (famous in the Gaming world for his circus show of lawsuits) posing a challenge to these doctors.

“Don’t like gettin’ bit?

Keep your hand outta my mouth!”

I can not stop laughing at that picture, especialy with the story on how my friend got bit related to a pet.

LOL, Aye!

Was just trying to do the neighborhood tough guy a favor by brushing off all the snow and muck he rolled in. He was patient… until I got closer to his head. Then I just didn’t get out of the way fast enough. gasp…. First not-so-much-a-love-bite that ever got infected. I guess the powers that be wanted me to do a bit of medical costs research first hand! :0)

Real American Patriot… don’t know about YOUR state, but in EVERY ER in Missouri… sign on the wall says EVERYONE coming in gets treated, REGARDLESS of ability to pay…… so, at least in Missouri, you are DEAD wrong, if he WAS poor and uninsured, he would have been treated!!!! Sorry.. now the question is, is this a Missouri deal, or is it NATIONAL policy..I don’t know, does anyone here know??

Hankster58, it’s not just Missouri that does that, and although I am not sure, I think it’s a federal law that hospitals may not turn down a patient from any help regardless whether they have money or not. That is why even veterans affairs hospitals take civilians during emergencies if the hospital is the closest one, regardless if the incoming patient has any prior or current military service.

The reason why I think that refusing to give health services to someone in need of it is against federal law is because of a newspaper article that I came across a while back. It was about a Cuban boy who died because a Miami hospital turned him down service despite having severe gun shot wounds. As a result, the doctor responsible for this boys death got his practicing license taken away, and was incarcerated in a federal prison.

By the way, I’m glad that Rush is doing okay. I hope that his kidneys get better too.

@Ryan: It appears his kidneys are doing just fine despite what that witch Wanda Sykes had to say about them.

I’ll never watch her again. I just change the channel when she comes on.

Thanks, wasn’t sure, and hadn’t researched it yet….. Healthcare IS available, it’s the COST that’s at issue, and it’s LAUGHABLE for anyone to suggest that GOVERNMENT is the best at Fiscal responsibility!! LOL!!! There are a whole truckload of ways and suggestions for how to cut costs, etc, IF the LEFT would pull it’s single minded head out of its posterial region…. and get a breath if fresh air!! Then MAYBE… some fresh IDEAS might pop into their pointy lil heads!!
