Our President: Bringing America to its Knees, Before the World

Is the Age of Obama the beginning of the end of America, the last best hope of earth?

President Obama’s curtsy to the Saudi king and his reverential bow before the Japanese Emperor was one of those “right-wing” criticisms that I thought, at the time, was mostly much ado about very little of substance. I now take that back. It was emblematic of what is taking place now.

While all hands on deck have been focused on the healthcare “debate” and Christmas family matters, President Obama last week quietly signed an amendment to Executive Order 12425 (signed by Reagan in 1983, but with restrictions in place to protect the Constitutional rights of our citizens), effectively eroding American sovereignty by immunizing INTERPOL activities within the U.S.

Andrew McCarthy:

for no apparent reason, President Obama issued an executive order removing the Reagan limitations. That is, Interpol’s property and assets are no longer subject to search and confiscation, and its archives are now considered inviolable. This international police force (whose U.S. headquarters is in the Justice Department in Washington) will be unrestrained by the U.S. Constitution and American law while it operates in the United States and affects both Americans and American interests outside the United States.

Interpol works closely with international tribunals (such as the International Criminal Court — which the United States has refused to join because of its sovereignty surrendering provisions, though top Obama officials want us in it). It also works closely with foreign courts and law-enforcement authorities (such as those in Europe that are investigating former Bush administration officials for purported war crimes — i.e., for actions taken in America’s defense).

Steve Schippert:

By removing language from President Reagan’s 1983 Executive Order 12425, this international law enforcement body now operates – now operates – on American soil beyond the reach of our own top law enforcement arm, the FBI, and is immune from Freedom Of Information Act (FOIA) requests.

Dennis Prager wrote a very good article on how President Obama regards “American exceptionalism”. Basically, he doesn’t put much regard into the concept, at all:

As the passage of the bill that will start the process of nationalizing health care in America becomes almost inevitable, so, too, the process of undoing America’s standing as The Last Best Hope of Earth will have begun.

That description of America was not, as more than a few Americans on the left believe, made by some right-wing chauvinist. It was made by President Abraham Lincoln in an address to Congress on Dec. 1, 1862.

The bigger the American government becomes, the more like other countries America becomes. Even a Democrat has to acknowledge the simple logic: America cannot at the same time be the last best hope of earth and increasingly similar to more and more countries.

Either America is unique, in which case it at least has the possibility of uniquely embodying hopes for mankind — or it is not unique, in which case it is by definition not capable of being the last best hope for humanity — certainly no more so than, let us say, Sweden or the Netherlands.

Indeed, President Obama acknowledged this in April, when asked by a European reporter if he believes in American exceptionalism. The president’s response: “I believe in American exceptionalism, just as I suspect that the Brits believe in British exceptionalism and the Greeks believe in Greek exceptionalism.”

The president was honest. In his view, as in the view of today’s Democratic party, America is special only in the same way we parents regard our children as “special.” We all say it and we all believe it, but we know that it is meaningless except as an emotional expression of our love for our children. If every is child is equally special, none can be special, in fact. If every country is exceptional, then no country is exceptional, or at least no more so than any other.

With the largest expansion of the American government and state since the New Deal, the Democratic party — alone — is ending a key factor in America’s uniqueness and greatness: individualism, which is made possible only when there is limited government.

Thus by signing his name, this insignificant pathetic little man, who without the aid of foreign money and Socialist connections couldn’t run a fast food joint, has forsaken our Constitutional protections: I suppose he will eventually arrange for Bush and our soldiers to tried for war crimes as he tightens his Marxist ligature around our necks, in his never ending desire to destroy the United States.

We may have to move to another country or found our own to know what it is to be free again. For founding our own nation we could just adopt the US Constitution since it seems to be out of vogue here.

Forgive me. I am at a complete loss. When BHO was sworn in, he swore to uphold the US Constitution to the best of his ability (that’s a laugh…what ability?)
Anyway, what I am getting at is he “swore to uphold”….and since that fateful day the US Constitution has been trampled and drug thru the mud. Cannot anyone bring suit against him since he is obviously NOT fulfilling the oath that he swore to. Maybe I am to simplistic in a complex world….but this is maddening.

This quiet deceptive signing of this change to Regan’s directive is but one more step on the road to one world government that this fool and his left wing allies have always wanted. The depth of the deception in the HCR bill will take months to discover and God knows how long to correct but the goal of the left is to take as much power away from the people as possible without getting caught. My friends, if we don’t rise up in the coming three years and over throw these villains our nation is lost. If George Washington could endure the hardships of Valley Forge and continued when times looked bleak, then surely we can do our best in the comfort of this modern world. Think about marching in snow with burlap rags wrapped around your feet and then think about an e-mail campaign or Tea Party march in the comfort of your home or town street. We owe those brave men our gratitude and commitment to keep what they sacrificed for.

Congress would have to start proceedings to do anything against a sitting president. This is the same Congress that couldn’t impeach Bill Clinton even after he admitted to lying to not only the American people but also a Federal Judge on two occasions and committed adultry in the White House while in office.

Basically they would have to grow a set of balls and most politicians are more concerned with keeping their seat than they are with doing their constitutional duty.

Executive orders are subject to judicial review, and can be declared unconstitutional.

So time is a wasting.

I am starting to understand this hatred of government expansion thing, and it has been a bad trend. Obama is just the latest on the scene but, we have to start someplace. Why not get government out of the way and let the free market do it’s thing? Government holds down prosperity and keeps folks from hiring more workers and that is bad for our Country.
Why does the government need so many consumer protectionist rules? If I buy food or toys for my small child, the free market will do a good job of alerting folks when food is contaminated, or toys could cause harm or death to small children. Let the private sector do it’s thing and get government out of the way. China is a good example, since all the lead paint and unsafe cribs sold a few years back from China, (Google Chinaa recall) they are doing better now.
Why do local governments require fences and barriers around swimming pools? To protect small children…from what? Drowning? Let the citizens have freedom, and it is not governments job to tell them what to do with their property.
Zoning laws too, if I can start a small business and make some needed money and employ more workers with a Pig farm in my area, who in the hell is government and those lousy anti American neighbors to keep me from my Constitutional rights?

Taxes are an abomination, why do they take my money? It’s mine! if the government needs money let them ask me for it. If it is worthy then I’ll chip in. do you know where most of the tax money really goes? Not to Obama but here:
http://www.armscontrolcenter.org/policy/securityspending/articles/fy09_dod_request_global/
That I can understand though, because I am stocking up on ammo and guns…big time. In fact, my house is filled with guns and ammo, I have cameras everywhere on my property too. My family thinks I am spending way too much on defending our home, but I tell them, ” why do you hate your family so much?” They say, well, we need more food, we have very little, the kids need shoes, and our living standard is so much lower than it used to be. I tell them “if you don’t like this family then get out and find a better one! This is how we preserve our freedom and you are just too lazy and too dependent and need to be thanking your Creator for all the blessings this family has given you”
I admit that when we get some money, I do spend most of it on more guns and ammo, but I do provide some food and essentials too. But I have to be a bit careful because I need to build some more storage buildings to keep all this ammo and guns safe and ready to defend us. It’s a bit of a tricky balance keeping the weapons we need and the food supply going. You can never have enough weapons to keep your family safe.
Our family is free and the family has the right to bring up any concerns, often they ask me what type of defensive weapons I am buying with all the money. I tell them if they have a need to know, then they would already know. Our budget for buying guns and ammo is sacred here in our family. If someone mentions that we have enough ammo to kill the whole neigborhood several times over already, trust me, that anti family member is told quick that if he hates his family that much then not only is he a fool but doesn’t deserve such a great family! Many have sacrificed and died for this family and how dare they dishonor them by asking such stupid questions. Then we as a family turn our backs on him and make him feel bad until he wises up from his foolishness. After that they shut up and continue to work hard and give me the money I need to buy more guns and ammo.
When America was founded, and two people had a disagreement, they settled it with a duel, and the winner was normally clear cut and that settled that.
http://www.history.com/this-day-in-history.do?action=article&id=544
Why does the government now have all these laws about murder and manslaughter? how could we have gotten so far from where America was at it’s founding? Jackson went on to become President because he stood for the American values that founded our country, and up until Obama I really didn’t notice how much trouble we were in. Up until the late 1800’s a real man could meet his enemy at high noon and settle his disputes WITHOUT GOVERNMENT INTERVENTION. What has happened to our founding principles?
The heavy hand of government regulates food safety, alcohol, drugs, trash pickup, you name it, they regulate it. They criminalize all kinds of behaviors too, and for what? To protect us? Governments job is to protect us from foreign enemies, they don’t need to be so involved in our everyday lives with all their rules and laws. I’m on the bandwagon fellow Tea Party Brothers, we don’t need no stinking government telling us how to live! I can run my own show from now on, and I will only vote for people who hate my county’s current government as much as we all do! I know that sounds bad, but our government system brought us Obama didn’t it? That tells you all you need to know.
I used to have more faith in my government, thinking that if a guy gets elected and folks don’t like what he is doing, then we can vote him out and get someone who will do a better job. But my fellow Tea Party Brothers and Sisters, we all now know that if someone gets elected by the majority of the people that we just KNOW is a bad guy, we need to reject him outright and never allow him to represent our country without a fight. We cannot allow ourselves to cooperate in any way, even if in the short term it hurts the country. Our American system of elected government cannot possibly withstand any office holders who are so clearly against what our founding fathers built and the Conservative principles that we love and treasure. This is not about people, this is about ideals and beliefs that we must uphold at all costs. Those of us in positions of trust need to spread as much fear as possible, and tear down the ones who hate America so that when folks get afraid enough, we can get back in charge and calm them down again, telling them that they are lucky to be in our American “family” and to shut up if they start asking questions they have no “need to know” clearance to be knowing. They can trust us, and I am sure that when we do get back in power, those who don’t agree with us will never try to use the same tactics that we are using now against us. Keep the faith and lets get the government off our backs and get back to every man for himself as our founders intended. Someday we will destroy the Godless heathen Liberals, all the Muslims and all haters of America, and when we finally work our way to getting all the Rino’s out of the system and only right thinking folks who love America prevail, then America can be great once again. This country is not big enough for us and Barack Obama.

Sarcastically yours,
Tea Party Brother Mooseburger

So Moose.

Let’s say your sister is in Paris, and is suspected of supporting the people who stole a painting from the Louve. She looks just like the driver seen leaving with the theives.

I take it you’re all for Interpol grabbing your sister off the street with no due-process, no court-warrant, and no opportunity to file habeas corpus.

I guess the Constitution is “flawed” in your eyes, as well.

Asshole.

Patvann:
That is what the Patriot act is all about. It keeps us safe, why do you have a problem with laws like that if it helps us to kill terrorists?
Anyone defined as an Enemy combatant becomes a non person with no rights to a lawyer or appeal to a judge to find out what the charges against him are. You can be sure it will not be used against you or any good law abiding American. The Bush administration thought it was very important. Although we hate Obama and know he is destroying America, we trust Bush and know all is well when his administration promotes laws like the Patriot Act. Bush would never have done anything against the Constitution, only Obama does that. I know because Conservatives supported the Patriot Act and there were no Tea Party protesters against it back then.
I don’t believe Interpol falls under the Constitution, but if they have laws like our Patriot Act, then they must be to keep the people safe. Except for the fact they are Socialists and not fit to breath the same air as our freedom loving Conservative Tea Party Brothers and Sisters. So being Socialists, they do not have the moral compass that freedom loving Patriot Act supporting Conservatives have and that my friend is the difference.

Troll clean up needed I see. So moose, are you against this executive order? Why or why not?

To the sane people here… Remember the CIA operatives tried and convicted in absentia by Italy? Imagine if interpol scum came here, kidnapped them, and took them back to Italy. We couldn’t do jack about it thanks to obama’s EO.

Hard Right:
I am for any Executive order if comes from a Conservative like Bush. Why? Because I know he loves America and Obama hates America. The Tea Party folks and the Conservatives didn’t hate the government until Obama did they?
If Interpol Socialists come here and try to grab our guys, that could be defined as Terrorism, and we should use the Patriot Act to keep America safe and lock them away.
If other countries want to do that then that is not the same thing is it? They should not be able to grab people up and hold them with no charges like we can with our Patriot Act. We are the ones who are exceptional, not those Socialists.

Lorraine #3 & JB #6

Yes, he “swore” to uphold the Constitution. So?

Who’s going to call him out for not doing so? Not the press. Not either body of the Legislature. Both of those are under thrall to this man and the ideas he represents.

It is barely possible that some State, acting through its Legislature, could accuse him of malfeasance. But– most states’ leadership has very liberal tendencies, even if they’re GOP. And for all we know, SCOTUS would rule a state doesn’t have standing.

In regard to the “birth certificate” thing, courts all around the US determined that NO individual citizen had standing to bring that complaint. I assume the same would be true if any citizen or citizen’s group tried to challenge the way this president (note I don’t use the capital letter in that title) is steering the nation.

In a way, this goes to illustrate my belief that IF the citizenry is well educated, well informed, and obeys the moral laws of our Judeo-Christian background, most of our civil & criminal laws are really superfluous. If people “do unto others as you would have them do unto you”, society works pretty well. However, if, as seems self-evidently true in 2009, our citizens are poorly educated, know only what the MSM publishes and promotes, and believe that morality is theoretical and has no practical application in “real life”, all the laws that 10million legislatures could write would not be sufficient to maintain the cooperation and assumption of goodwill and reciprocity that forms the basis of our American culture.

What we are seeing is the codification and legalization of “I’m gonna get mine; my GROUP is powerful and important and we’re gonna get OURS; … and the hell with you”. The downfall of our nation is, I’m afraid, inevitable.

========================

When next some group of oppressed people wants to establish a functioning, free, and independent country, and turns to our Declaration and our Constitution for inspiration, I would suggest that they specify in the new documents that public education MUST include lessons on morality, responsibility and justice in every grade of school. They should also teach kids that it’s OK to make judgments of people and beliefs (it’s NOT prejudice to think that certain tribal customs/practices are incompatible with freedom and justice; or that certain cultures –those that demean women, for example– are inferior to ours). They should be taught how to project from beliefs to actions to results, using other world cultures as an example. In addition, I would suggest that only people with property should be permitted to vote on any issue which would result in increased taxation. (Only those with a stake in the outcome should be able to commit themselves to new expenses. This would have the effect of preventing the indigent from “voting themselves largesse from the public treasury”.)

What else should go into a new Constitution, to prevent the devolution that we’ve seen in the last 20 years or so? (It’s not just the current crop of Democrats, although they seem to be very good at tearing apart what’s been built up over the last 200+ years. Most of the current GOP is so concerned with proving they have a “big tent” in which all ideas are welcome, that they’ve forgotten that they’re supposed to STAND for something. In trying to “attract more voters”, they’ve turned into the party of “Democrat-lite”. Feh. “If you stand for nothing, you’ll fall for anything” pretty much describes the American electorate right now in 2009.)

moose: I am starting to understand this hatred of government expansion thing, and it has been a bad trend.

Now that’s a nice Christmas present, Moose…. However you should have quit there before launching into hyper-hypotheticals of nonsense.

You know what Moose? Even though your were being a sarcastic jackass, everything you said was correct. Maybe you should be a sarcastic butt plug more often? It’s just a suggestion. Merry Christmas man.

I see that the moosehole is suffering from diarrhea again.

Ryan: Sadly sarcasm is one of my better skills, and I admit that. I can see both sides of most issues, I know many conservatives where I live and most are very decent folks who are honest, their word is their bond and are just very good people. They treat me very well, mostly because they see me as someone like them. I don’t get into too much politics with most folks around here, but I do notice that when people that are different than them are around, these good folk God fearing Conservatives here in Southern Indiana really don’t like them much, and they tell me that too. They don’t like this President either. I have lived here all my life and I understand where these folks are coming from.
There are alot of folks who are that way, and to whip up fear amongst them is not a hard thing to do. Liberals scare many of them, and having a President who is different really freaks most of them out. It is easy to hate or be afraid of those who are not like us. Many folks here are way smarter than that, but if you are smarter then you are also responsible to not use the lowest form of fear as an advantage if this will serve to turn people against their fellow man.
I have been in a position of leadership before, and I know first hand that the easiest and most cowardly thing to do to folks is to whip them up into a frenzy about issues by playing on their fears, that is not leadership that is chicken shit cowardice and using the mob mentality for your own self promotional purposes. Let me tell you something I think is very important, most people who are worked up and protesting at the Tea Parties are not radical warriors, they are good decent folks who are afraid. They look to their leaders and when told the President is a muslim America hating illegitimate President by people who they look to and trust they become afraid. When the Tea Party mob disperses and these folks go back to work, raise their kids and responsibly pay their bill and contribute to the good of the country, only a very small percentage of these folks will ever be radical warriors in a movement. They may vote a certain way but they were inclined to vote that way already.

While this soap opera goes on between both parties and their respective Fox and MSNBC mouthpieces, issues like the Supreme court ruling on Eminent Domain, wiretapping and internet spying of citizens, the Patriot act, unbelievable Military spending and a host of really important issues that many here understand better than I are going on in this country and around the world, both sides seem to be in agreement on those issues, and you never hear about them in the news ever.
Tell you what, those who really truly feel that our President is not legitimate, that he and the Liberals are out to destroy America and the election by the majority is not to be honored, then take to the streets, quit being crybabys and get out there, disrupt and demand your rights. Do like the early patriots did and declare independence, fight with your blood because you know this is the cause of freedom.
If you just continue talking the talk and are too chicken to walk the walk, then it will be apparent that you are only playing this for politics and power, not out of conviction that would require action other than manifesting your unhappiness by protesting. Liberals did that too, and Bush and company still did what they were going to do. It made no difference. We will continue to mostly ignore you, and while Conservatives continue to not participate in their elected leadership role in our government, abdicating their responsibilities for future political gain, we will shove our agenda right down your throat as much as possible. Just like Bush did. Short of outright revolt, Conservative and Tea Party whimperings amount to just being your turn in the barrel, you put your own selves there by the judgment of the people of your leadership in the Bush era. It’s your own doings that put you in the position you are in, out of the majority and with all the bluster you can muster, you didn’t stop the Democrats from passing Health care in the House and Senate did you? It is not the Liberals fault this is now happening in America, lousy leadership from the Bush Administration in the view of the majority of voters is the root cause. Take your medicine. Is that sarcastic enough?

Just out of curiousity…. what is the wording of the subsections that were stricken?

http://www.theheartlandusa.com/editorials/2009/ge_122409.htm

HERE YOU GO TEAPARTY FOLKS AND CONSERVATIVES. GET IT IN GEAR OR KEEP BUYING MORE KLEENEX.

moose, you can sometimes be so disassociated with reality that you simply embarrass yourself.

The Edwin Vieira fringe birther left has about as much clout with the conservative and fiscally concerned tea party attendees as William Ayers has in common with you. Or maybe I have you wrong and you are a straight from the heart, unapologetic socialist.

Your problem is you see a different voice, and you automatically lump us all as extremists. Conversely, I look at you and your party, and I automatically lump you all as gullible illiterates. Something you tend to confirm every time you post.

Keep it up… we just love watching you imitate your party’s mascot.

Mooseburger said; “unbelievable Military spending”

Military spending is around four percent of GDP, nothing close to an unbelievable amount. It was an amount that did not change much when the Democratic Party took control of Congress despite making the same preposterous assertion you are making now. I would hardly think that four percent would be much to throw a petulant two year olds temper tantrum over for your safety, which the military more than adequately maintains.

Take into account the research institute ITERATE which it states that terrorism is shrinking in the numbers of madrasas, recruitment, and support from the Middle Eastern and the North African general public. It cites heightened public, law enforcement/emergency worker, and military vigilance in the region as the main cause. The second cause is the madrasas are closing shop because of the lack of adequate recruits or being shut down because the military is discovering them. Madrasas are closing at a rate three times faster than they are getting built.

Other institutions that are finding similar results include the Lieu Institute for Research on Global Issues in the University of British Columbia (via the Human Security Report volume one 2005, part one changing face of violence), and the RAND corporation which tracks all of Al Quedas attacks from North Africa to the Persian Gulf and Black Sea. Researching whether terrorism is really getting stronger provides results that contradict all those who oppose the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan and claim terrorism is on the rise. To claim spending four percent of our GDP is excessive for what the military does is absurd.

As for health care bill that recently passed, it’s not what the democrats have envisioned and nothing close to a victory for them. For the most part, a public option and universal health care have been the meat and the potatoes of their campaign regarding health care reform. They wanted a public option and in the beginning it was a part of the original bill, but it was removed solely because of the concerns it generated from both major parties, moderates, and independents.

The current bill has more than 150 Republican amendments in it, and more negotiations are scheduled for January before the bill has to pass both legislative chambers again. It is often claimed that the only aim conservatives have is to delay the enactment of this bill, never to find any common ground. Well, why is it that the bill that had just passed didn’t include most of the finance committee versions proposals when they agreed a long time ago to include them before voting on the bill? The exclusion of these proposals when they were supposed to be common ground makes the claim that conservatives don’t care for negotiation look self-contradictory. Actions speak louder than words and the Democratic party is shouting to the roof tops “We Lied!”

I am “responsible for the position I am in?” I am in the same position that every American is in. No way am I responsible for the nearly tripled deficit Obama and the Democratic Congress has put us in because when they said that more spending was needed, I made it clear with many other Americans that we didn’t think so. I am not responsible for the current abysmal economy that is happening largely because of the damages from the “hide the debt scandals” (Grandfather Federal Economic Debt Report by Michael Hodges) that had taken place throughout more than three Congresses prior to the start of the previous presidents tenure.

According to Hodges, social spending reached new all-time highs each decade since the 1960s and is almost entirely responsible for the heightened debt and declining dollar, which lead to increases in cost for all services and goods in this country. It also caused a decline in the value of properties and the stock of the companies that helped finance them, giving it a slice of the responsibility for the popping of the recent housing bubble. 50 years of hazardous economic and spending habits from the United States Congress isn’t my responsibility. Especially since 38 years of it happened under the watch of the party that I do not support, the Democratic party.

What’s really funny is that I am not the one losing it in this thread, yet you’re telling me to take my medicine? The only medicine here is your own, and I am just giving you a taste of it. In fact, bringing up the whole Obama hates America notion in response to me when I have said nothing to imply that I felt Obama feels that way shows the lack of substance in your commentary.

I don’t hate Obama, nor do I feel he hates this country, but I feel I have valid reasons to disagree with him. You say that “I’ll get mine,” well I am way ahead of you because I already got it. Here’s how; having registered to vote the day I turned 18 years old 3 years ago makes it my duty and legitimate for me to be passionately vocal about my stances. Despite the fact that I don’t see eye to eye with our president doesn’t change the fact that I want to serve in the U.S. Navy one day and become a member of the SEAL teams. Being concerned that the battles I will win will be used by Obama and/or his followers as a weapon to bolster themselves on the topic of National Security doesn’t hinder me from holding on to this aspiration dearly because service is something that I honor and cherish. It is a blessing that I hope to give to my fellow countrymen and fellow man in general including yourself. Merry Christmas.

Mooseburger

Sarcasm is one of your better skills?!?! Dood. You suck at it. If you honestly think that, than every other thing you do must be as successful a man with no arms and no legs swimming across the English channel.

Get the f**k away from us.

Less than a week ago, you were all about supporting and defending everything Obama has ever done, or will ever do. Now all of a sudden you put on the veneer of militancy and are one degree away from advocating violence.

Get the f**k away from us.

The owner of this site is a police officer. No one but you are pushing for acts of violence, except in a theoretical, and rhetorical sense. If someone ever does, Curt will bust them, and I will inform my FBI friends. In less than half a heartbeat.

Get the f**k away from us.

The one thing assholes like you will never get about us “cons” is that we take our oaths, and our laws seriously. We will take back our country from neo-coms like you through the ballot, and through educating our neighbors.

Get the f**k away from us.

I want you to read this next sentence very carefully… The office of the president is not about the man who presently occupies it, and if I had the chance to take a bullet for Obama, I would not hesitate for one nanosecond. I do not fear the sheepdogs who wear the uniform, be it camo, or blue.

Get the f**k away from us.

If you think you can “bait” us into advocating violence, then you are sadly mistaken. If you continue spouting such crap, I am sure between Curt and myself, we can make you go away for a very long time. I ASSURE YOU.

Get the f**k away from us.

You are mentally ill, you are dangerous to yourself, and need help. FIND IT. Please.

I don’t support the Patriot Act, but I also don’t have a conspiracy theorists mindset in regards to those who think that it’s necessary. If the Patriot Act is such a bad law and Obama believes in a change from the old style government, then why is he pushing for a renewal of all the key parts of it after they expire this Thursday?

@Donald Bly, the Newsbusters hotlink above offers the original, the amended via Clinton, and italics for the further amendments via Obama. All strip access to the INTERPOL databases, files, property and assets. When Reagan granted INTERPOL int’l organization immunity status, he limited their immunities INRE that class. (explained in my O’s Executive Order: immunity for Obama? post)

@Ryan: an articulate comeback to the emotional tirades and empty promises from mooseface. You come back with data and facts, and all moose can muster is the schooyard taunt akin to “you’ll get yours”…. and “we just ignore you”. LOL!

But then, that’s about all that side has… long on emotions and taunts, and short on facts and knowledge of history. I swear, my favorite part of that hodgepodge of hormones from moose was:

I have been in a position of leadership before, and I know first hand that the easiest and most cowardly thing to do to folks is to whip them up into a frenzy about issues by playing on their fears, that is not leadership that is chicken shit cowardice and using the mob mentality for your own self promotional purposes.

uh ahem… like the entire “image” campaign of Obama, perhaps? The continual “pass this now or we’re in deep shit” spending bill after bill this year? The global warming scare?? Have to pass this health care bill NOW, but oh… BTW… you get to pay for the benefits for four years before you get them. Yeah… gonna save $132 bil on deficits.. but that’s because you’re paying four years that you’re not getting benefits for. aHEM?

Lawdy, people like moosemeat must think we all just fell off the turnip truck if he believes we buy BS like that.

Yeah, moose. I agree completely with what you said above… the fear mongering that this POTUS and his merry band of Congressional thieves have been engaging in sure ain’t leadership. You labeled it exactly right… a self-promotional mob mentality and chicken shit cowardice. Apparently you’re quite proud of your Congress leaders and POTUS doing just that. Excellent point. Again, thank you for your perfected impression of your party mascot…..

Nice post.

I’ve read every word of Mr. Hodges. I recommend it to everyone here. More importantly, I recommend sending his site-link to the Republican Party headquarters.

I joined the SeALs under Clinton in 1979. Young man, you have a good mind, a bright future, and I tip my hat to you. If there’s anything I can help you with, just ask. Now get out there and run holding barbells till you drop. Then do it again. Then again.

So according to moose, if we aren’t out there trying to violently overthrow the government we aren’t sincere about our beliefs. We are frauds.
Reminds me of the chickenhawk strawman.

@ MataHarley… thanks for the link and to all whom have handed Mooseballs a verbal tounge-lashing….. touche!

You guys are funny ! It is as if the last 30 yrs never existed and you just now woke up.
