Decision-making is all about probabilities of outcomes. The people who want to do something about climate change believe that a reduction in carbon emissions will slow or reverse climate change; you folks say it is b.s. You may be right. Then again, you may be wrong. So what is your contingency plan in case you are wrong?

First of all, it’s not “what if you’re wrong?”. Because the AGW is what’s wrong here.
But let’s take this at face value. The UN, (per the warmmongers) claim that the temp will go up 4-6deg by 2100 if we do nothing…(3-5deg in 2100 if humans stopped emitting ALL CO2, because of that pesky fact that we contribute only 3% of .038% of 5 quadrillion tons.)
That means that in Siberia, instead of being -32deg in winter, it’s -29. It means that in Baghdad it will be 132deg in summer instead of 129. It means England might grow wine-grapes again, as they did 1000 years ago.
It means that there is more good weather to grow crops in. It means the crops are healthier because of the increase in CO2. It means more fresh water from the presumed increase in rain.
So you would have us give 30 trillion dollars to the UN over the next 25 years, loss of sovereignty, higher taxes and higher profits to oil companies for a presumed decrease of 1-2 degrees?
Nowhere in any documents I’ve ever read, nor in ANY legislation in any government on the planet is there a mechanism to REDUCE CO2 levels. There is no project to get nukes going, and solar/wind is a joke compared to the real-world’s needs. There is ONLY payments to corrupt organizations, through a corrupt organization. The trade-scheme was thought up by Ken Lay and friends, and is being pushed by Goldman Sachs and Soros in order to create another “bubble” of play money for the rich and well-connected to use until it’s gone away like our housing values did.
When are you going to accept the fact that the “green movement” has been hijacked by Big Oil, Big Business, Big Banks and Big Government?
