I agree with DaNang67, it seems to be the sop of this administration, they keep slinging stuff out there faster than we can keep up with. People are paying attention to health care and they aren't liking what the democrats are trying sell, time to redirect their focus.

I saw this over at AT this morning, nothing new, but even polling democrats 9-12% higher, they can't get their desired results. Also, polling adults vs likely voters and week end polling results are favorable to the left. They know all the tricks, they just aren't working anymore so they have to spin.

In reviewing three recent major polls (CNN-Opinion Research, Pew Research, AP-GFK) and to give their results even more benefit of the doubt, the three polling companies chosen use adults (not likely voters) and have normally averaged 9-12 percentage points' higher weighting for Democrats than Republicans.

Well, at least Eric Holder consulted with his wife and brother before he made this moronic decision.
For all those on the left that say this is about giving "terrorists a fair trial," The Daily Kos doesn't even believe that. They openly admit this is the best way to put, "Bushco" as they call it, on trial. Here is the Newsbuster link. If you haven't eaten lunch yet, you should click on the Daily Kos link and check out the comments. If you've already eaten lunch, you should probably wait 45 minutes or so.

I hear Khalid is planning on representing himself in court. That gives me an idea for a great movie title. "Sleaze and Sleazier".

Heh, I just made this comment on Tom Bowler's excellent site libertarianleanings.com:

The decision to try KSM seems so stupid I can only find a reason for the decision to do so by releasing my cynical side. It could be strategy.

Rahmbo, Axelrod and the gang have only one issue at the moment and that is the cornerstone of the collectivist future. The health care takeover is currently under assault as it worms its way through the senate. Call me crazy if you will, but I see this whole KSM circus as a possible distraction thrown up to divert conservative momentum in a different direction while Harry Reid musters his forces.

I don't know that it would work, but The conservative voices I heard over the weekend were not talking health care. If you can get Krauthammer, Limbaugh and Hannity off topic, you get less calls to senate offices from constituents.
