And if you have cancer and lose your private insurance, you’ll have to wait six months under Obama Care!

Remember how Obama accused opponents of the government run health care scheme of telling lies about the plan? Remember how Dems promised abortions wouldn’t be paid for with your money? Guess who is lying?

From House Republican Leader John Boehner:

Health care reform should not be used as an opportunity to use federal funds to pay for elective abortions. Health reform should be an opportunity to protect human life – not end it.

Unfortunately, Speaker Pelosi’s 2,032-page government takeover of health care does just that. On line 17, p. 110, section 222 under “Abortions for which Public Funding is Allowed” the Health and Human Services Secretary is given the authority to determine when abortion is allowed under the government-run plan. The Speaker’s plan also requires that at least one insurance plan offered in the Exchange covers abortions.

What is even more alarming is that a monthly abortion premium will be charged of all enrollees in the government-run plan. It’s right there on line 16, page 96, section 213, under “Insurance Rating Rules.” The premium will be paid into a U.S. Treasury account – and these federal funds will be used to pay for the abortion services.
Section 213 describes the process in which the Health Benefits Commissioner is to assess the monthly premiums that will be used to pay for elective abortions under the government-run plan. The Commissioner must charge at a minimum $1 per enrollee per month.

A majority of Americans believe that health care plans should not be mandated to provide elective abortion coverage, and a majority of Americans do not believe government health care plans should include abortion coverage. Currently, federal appropriations bills include language known as the Hyde Amendment that prohibits the use of federal funds to pay for elective abortions under the Medicare and Medicaid programs, while another provision, known as the Smith Amendment, prohibits federal funding of abortion under the federal employees’ health benefits plan.

Speaker Pelosi’s 2,032-page health care monstrosity is an affront to the American people and drastically moves away from current policy. The American people deserve more from their government than being forced to pay for abortion.

Got Cancer? Wait Six Months Under Obama Care!

Remember too how Dems insisted their plan would cover the uninsurable? In his joint address to Congress Obama used this horror story to illustrate what was wrong with America’s health care system:

“One man from Illinois lost his coverage in the middle of chemotherapy because his insurer found that he hadn’t reported gallstones that he didn’t even know about. They delayed his treatment, and he died because of it.”

First of all, that story wasn’t true. Just another Obama fib. Big deal right?

No, it’s worse than that. In the Senate bill Harry Reid negotiated in secret, there is a six month waiting period before people whose private insurance is canceled can get benefits. “If you are a cancer patient and have cancer now, you can’t wait six months to go into a plan because your condition can go from bad to death,” said Stephen Finan, a policy expert with the American Cancer Society.

The outrage Obama stirred up with his phony horror story WOULD happen if the Democrat’s bill passes the Senate.

So again, who is lying about health care?

Just more Lies from the Most Ethical Congress Evah. Going their Merry Way, Spending US into an Abyss and Lying All the Way. If this travesty passes it will take a generation to make it go away.

It is Deliberate and not by accident. The same as Cap and Trade and ARRA, TARP bailouts that will never be repaid. The Tea Parties were Orderly and Polite but obviously akin to bring a knife to a gunfight in results. No one in Government listened.

The Prez, His Staffers, Baghdad Bob Gibbs, the House Majority and Senate Leaders Lied straight faced to the Nation. Betrayal of Public Trust. Period.

May be they’re listening to the tens of thousands of people who are camped out on the front steps of the U.S. Congress demanding that their representatives pay attention to their concerns. It’s happening even as I type this!

Would you dare to compare the Republican so called health care bill to the Democratic party’s bill? probably not.. it offers basically NOTHING!!! It doesn’t do anything for those with pre existing conditions.. They couldn’t offer to fix that. After all the insurance companies want to be able to continue that nonsense.

Follow the money MIKE!

Yeah, Mike’sA…. follow that hefty 2% profit, guy…. LOL

I see CRAP is still full of….

And speaking full of, I guess CRAP is filled with the Pelosi lies about pre’existing conditions. What this under educated duo can’t seem to absorb (or refuse to comment on in order to play the lie/spin game) is that any group plan is PROHIBITED (yes, I’m shouting) from excluding coverage to those with pre’existing conditions for any time frame more than a year. It’s called federal law, you bozos.

Since the GOP plan creates new “groups”, the individual plan is replaced, and the pre’existing condition BS goes away with the creation of group plans to which almost anyone can belong.

Voila.

Duh wuh

@Real American Patriot:

Ruh, Roh!

All is not well in the AMA. Only 17% of our nation’s doctors belong to the AMA and now we see even not all of that 17% are on board with this endorsement.

Opponents of the group’s endorsement are planning to introduce multiple resolutions to rescind or amend the AMA’s nod, according to an official whose doctor group opposes today’s endorsement.

“All is not happy in Denmark. There is a split within the ranks of the physician community,” the official said. “Clearly, the AMA does not represent the views of all physicians.”

In fact, the American Association of Neurological Surgeons and the Congress of
Neurological Surgeons announced their opposition to the House bill today.

“Sadly, in the ongoing health care reform debate, the more things change, the more they stay the same. We could not support H.R. 3200, the ‘America’s Affordable Health Choices Act of 2009,’ which was introduced in the House last July and unfortunately, we must now oppose this new House bill too. It contains no significant changes or improvements when it comes to the issues we believe are vital for true health care reform in this country,” said AANS president Troy Tippett.

Some AMA members are upset that the association plowed forward with an endorsement ahead of their meeting this weekend in Houston. Also grumbling about the AMA’s endorsement are state medical associations in Ohio, Illinois, Texas, Alabama, Georgia, South Carolina and Florida, the official said.

Former AMA president Stormy Johnson is preparing a resolution to rescind the endorsement, sources said. And the surgeons are introducing a resolution that would call on the AMA to actively oppose any legislation that includes a public option or a temporary doc fix or that doesn’t include medical malpractice reform.

About that AARP endorsement, stupid is as stupid does. Hubby and I have been shredding AARP crap for years and recently fellow seniors have been cutting up or sending their membership cards back. Why are they ridding themselves of their association with AARP you ask? Because we/they saw this endorsement coming. Expect more shredders going at full tilt and remnants of membership cards being sent back to AARP after this stupid endorsement.
