Hi Mike, I just send you a news clip from the Spanish Newspaper El Mundo.es(Spain). They are saying that the Hispanics are growing very mad about Inmigration Reform because the Democrats are not bringing it to the table to be discuss! and that on October 12th(Dia de La Raza) there is going to be a huge demonstration in the US. Napolitano is in charged of this issue….as they say in Mejico…Orale!!!
@uri: Better tell the amnesty crowd to get ready for a major disappointment. They’re in the back of the bus along with half a dozen other liberal special interest groups and there’s no way Obie will be able to deliver on his promises after this health care debacle.

Another great story!…The Democrats are planning a rally in Washington D.C. on September 13th for a ‘Real Health Care Reform” organized by Robert Reich and Rep. Chaka Fattah. Well, like I said before, this is going to get dirty…
I doubt that many Democrats will show up because they will have to spend their own money and they are not used to that…they always like to spend other people’s monies.

Mike: Do you or anybody in our forum has any knowledge of LaRouche and as to why, if he is such a Marxist-Lenninst, is he so opposed to Obama now.
My take is that LaRouche has been advising Obama all along. However, Obama has decided to part with the more radicals and thus, creating the rift in the Democratic Party. I am convinced that Obama is not capable of governing unless “someone” is helping him…Six month ago nobody heard of the public option and then last Sunday, Sebellius came up saying it is not needed. I just don’t get it. His numbers are dropping not because of us but because his inner circle is broken.
PS: Is Obama invited to Chelsea Clinton’s wedding tomorrow?. That maybe a good time to talk to Baba about HR3200.
@uri: I don’t pay much attention to the LaRouche nuts. Though it is interesting to note that THEY are the ones with the posters of Obama with a Hitler mustache.

There are indeed rumors that Chelsea will be married tomorrow at Martha’s Vineyard, and that’s why BO is there. Lucky her, if true.
However, she was with her family on Bermuda beforee they vacated early because of the storm. Does seem unlikely they’d go to Bermuda before a million dollar wedding somewhere else.

It would be very interesting to see a major poll done and published on which version was preferred by voters, especially if the wording was kept neutral and accurate as to each bill’s effects. If honestly presented, I think, or at least hope, that congressional leaders would be forced to allow the Republican bill to be presented and debated.

President Obama, Speaker Pelosi, and Sen. Reed are expected to make this major announcement at a joint news conference later this week. I have obtained an advanced copy of the proposal which is named “CASH FOR CODGERS” and it works like this…
“Couples wishing to access health care funds in order to pay for the delivery of a child will be required to turn in one old person. The amount the government grants them will be fixed according to a sliding scale. Older and more prescription-dependent codgers will garner the highest amounts.
Special “Bonuses” will be paid for those submitting codgers in targeted groups, such as smokers, alcohol drinkers, persons 10 pounds over their government-prescribed weight, and any member of the Republican Party.
Smaller bonuses will be given for codgers who consume beef, soda, fried foods, potato chips, lattes, whole milk, dairy products, bacon, Brussels sprouts, or Girl Scout Cookies.
All codgers will be rendered totally useless via toxic injection. This will insure that they are not secretly resold or their body parts harvested to keep other codgers in repair.”

It appears that they are members of the worlds newest profession. I trust members of the worlds oldest because you know the agenda, who is paying them and the only debate is about the price.
I am referring to Career Politicians in the former and sporting ladies in the latter.
Although I frequently refer to Congress and the Senate as the Parliament of Whores, I can assure you that of the current members I am not joking. No offense meant to to sporting gals. They earn their money honestly.
Skye, on my last trip to Philly 5 years ago, at my Daughters request, We visited Constitution Hall and had a great day. I was TDY assigned to the Pentagon and Jana wanted nothing to do with DC. What I cannot understand is why Philadelphia is where the Constitution was written and signed, the home os the Continental Congress and so much treasure is there. How it can be so poorly represented in Congress and the Senate and Ed Rendel is the Governor quite frankly puzzles me. How did that happen? Specter and Murtha? You got a rogues gallery there.
My Daughter did not like DC, thought NYC was a dirty crowded place, Baltimore did not impress her either. She grew up on a Montana and at various Army posts and thought that riding the train from my condo in Virginia to DC was dangerous. At my last assignment in Atlanta she thought MARTA was dangerous. She felt more at home on the ranch or Ft. Bragg or Ft. Benning. Everyone there was on Federal Payroll and thoroughly Professional. Jana is a first year Cadet at USAFA now and wants to fly. Not Pelosi’s Bus but fighters. The F-22 that Obama will not fund.
Not the F-35 that is a compromise, She asked me if she would end up flying a Blimp since Obama wants a 1940 Defense force. I can’t answer that. I don’t know.
Professional Protesters. Professional signage. It must be Taxpayer funded or funded through some deal with Soros or some other America hating group.
I was at the Town Hall in Bozeman and it was polite but staged. How America got away from the values that a small band of determined men at Constitution Hall over 200 years ago put pen to paper and crafted carefully is beyond me. They knew about sporting ladies but Career Politicians were not on their minds and what they never intended to have leading the Nation.
