Dems Bus in City ACORN/Union mob to Rural PA Town Hall

I thought Townhall Meetings were local events, the Senator shows up to hear the views of local folk.
How can it be called a “TownHall Meeting” if the senator brings along his own supporters and local foks participation is rationed ?

Isn’t it something that some of the people from the town where the meeting was being held was not allowed into the meeting because the busloads of SEIU and ACORN supporters were pushing their way in front of the actual townspeople to stack the meeting. What does that say about our “supposed leader”. OK Dems, where is the outrage over this? If this kind of bullying is normal for the left, I refuse to give in to their tactics, and will fight them one-on-one, not the usual “gang thuggery” they have been using. I am old, but not yet beaten down by these criminals. OK Barry, show us what else you have up your thieven sleeves. I for one do not get a “tingle” running up my leg when I see him on TV, unlike Chris Matthews. What a sick set of rules there are for some and to hell with the majority. Barry says “I won”. NO YOU DIDN’T! YOU WERE BOUGHT! You will be owing a lot of people for many many years, and I am demanding you stop using the American Patriots as a scapegoat to get your way. You are a criminal, you are not an American, and you make me sick to my stomach.

Why would the left want to shut us up? Like Jerry Springer, talk loud and long (pure volume and sustained effort): a tactic used by those with nothing left to say. We aren’t talking brilliant people here.. just mob mentality. As that ladys sign said, “yelling is counter-productive.” Of course she says it while yelling, because the sign, “yelling is counter-productive” is not the issue, its a cause.

I was there.

ACORN & Union people sat in chairs under the open sided, roofed entryway into complex in Kittaning. They had it “made in the shade” although, not all fit under shaded entryway, but still used chairs sitting in line and moving their seats as live moved. All others, mostly senoir citizens, stood on black topped parking lot with nary a cloud in the sky.

ACORN cheered and taunted others. Some persons replied back, but felt it was best to ignore them.

When questions were asked, my head wanted to explode! I could not take another “whats in it for me” question. 25 out of 30 questioneers were pro-socialist medicine.

Two questioneers, both pre-med students had opposing views:

1st. berated the “big bad inurance companies” for killing people by refusing insurance.

2nd Asked Specter why he should continue his schooling? Stating , he is already 1/4 of a MILLION $$$’s in debt and gov’mt is not only going to cap his salary, tell him where to practice but also exposed the little known fact of gov’mnt taking over the education of all medical field studies and of doctors. Using “affirmative action” gov’mnt will be recuiting people to become doctors and will pay for cost of education.

Specters’ lame exuce for not reading the bill is “it is a congressional bill and by the time it goes through committees it will read way differently than it does now”. When it gets to the Senate, I will read it then.

More scary is he said he is for it without reading it.

Sorry for the long post, but a local group traveled over 6 hours to be at the Bozeman, MT event on Friday with Obama and company – I couldn’t go, but got this first hand report I recieved this morning -

I’m trying to formulate my thoughts on just what happened in Bozeman yesterday, for Obama’s visit. It was good and it was bad and I gather you deducted that just from your gleaning of hearing His Highness on the TV…It was soooo orchestrated and the Obama rally folks were bussed in on beautiful buses and were given SIGNs and were agressive folks overall. They shouted chants on bullhorns and got frenetic. We maintained our cool and didn’t back down and not nasty…They stole the spot that Bozeman Tea Party had CLEARED with the police department and airport way ahead of time. It was the better spot because it allowed more visibility..They (they the Obama side) showed up TWO hours BEFORE Obama’s visit. We all showed up, as planned, one hour before his visit. The police were all over the place but mostly near or at the Hangar. They could not at first control Obama’s crowd and actually asked our group to concede the spot to them. It wasn’t that the police were on their side, actually contrare, but they were overwhelmed and we conceded to keep the peace for all. Our group which was continually forming right next to them was growing and growing but we were disappointed that our group seemed less prepared and effective. We clearly were outnumbering them, but we had to wait for folks to arrive from all over with their own cars, their own $$ to get there and their own homemade signs.

At 11:40 a.m. VOILA the Calvary finally arrived and were they awesome! Bozeman Tea Party group mounted two giant speakers on top of a van decorated in banners of the American spirit. BTP team dispensed their great orators of their group and LOUDLY now, drowning out the smaller crowd with their pathetic ( now) bullhorns. What they had to say brought large cheers from the Anti Government Healthcare supporters…Then the sad reminder, endless lines of cars were now passing us going to the Hanger to be a part of the meeting that almost ALL conservatives were shunned from. As they passed and we were out there soaking wet from rain, holding our signs etc and our flags only to get cold stares and jeers from many of the cars passing by us to the hanger – we knew Obama’s Townhall was totally stacked against us. We even had his townhall meeting beeped out to us on our big speakers – many folks were so angry at the orchestrated bull that they ran to their cars and plugged their ears – however, it had to be broadcasted. So many times we were soaked to the bone not willing to give up our space and time to the Obama crowd – I was proud to stand with these wet and cold patriots of ALL ages. We had wonderful guest speakers and at least 3 from our group of 14 that caravaned up from Kalispell got to speak and we were applauded for driving up and joining them! After the rally ended, the busses took the Obama group home and many had left their “given signs” in a pile on the grass along with their trash….we were chilled but it wasn’t from the weather……..When I saw the TV shows my husband taped and saved for me of the event – nothing “nationally” was portrayed of the drama and true spirit going on outside the hanger from real Montanans and real Americans- only the orchestrated dribble from the left and their supreme Leader…. (hopefully local radio and T.V. gave it some coverage as they were there!) Linda J
