Talk about “manufactured outrage!” These people could give the right lessons in how to do it!

Thanks “Missy” for passing this along:

Now is our chance to make health care work.

America’s health care system is broken. Health care costs are spiraling out of control, throwing families, businesses and government into financial crisis. Families are worried their health coverage won’t be there when they need it. Our country can’t afford to wait for health reform that keeps costs down and protects consumers.

We can’t wait for affordable, dependable health care.

We’re fighting for health care that will protect families’ financial health, lay out a clear path for all Americans to afford health care, and improve patient safety and quality care.

You can work for change this summer.
Join motivated staff around the country working to make change happen. You can make great friends and money along the way. Earn $4000-$6000 this summer.

Hmmm… And Democrats are accusing Republicans of ramping up phony, “manufactured outrage” to oppose their plan to take over health care? I don’t know about my readers but I haven’t gotten a check from the evil insurance companies or anyone else to pay me to oppose Obama’s plans.

The bright side of this is that the Dem’s money is largely wasted. As we saw with ACORN’s effort to register voters, they paid people who went out and copied names from the phone book. So, if you want to get your kid a summer job learning how to commit fraud, here’s your chance.

What I want to know is whether any of the groups supporting this effort are receiving federal grants from the taxpayers that might subsidize this effort?

Thanks also to Sweetness and Light!

My first thought was the question: I wonder if this is another “our tax dollars at work” project. It better not be, and if it is, it ought to be yet another reason to drum the current crowd out of Washington.

@ThomNJ: The dirty, but no so little secret is that many of these groups take money from government grants for specific projects. But that only allows them to spend more money on stuff like this. I saw this myself while working for the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency monitoring grants.

The problem for the Democrats they don’t have enough money, enough people, in enough places. Nor can they tell the truth about what they really want for America.

Toast.

They have this every year on campuses throughout the US. The ad I saw today states $50 / day to work for “social justice”. Aka, fake protesters and petition signers. It’s amazing how dumb college students are. No wonder Microsoft hires so many people from overseas. China spends more than half the amount on education per student, but they outwork and outperform students in the US who have the benefit of a well funded education program.

As usual, our elected officials are sh*tting on us again. We need to remind them that they work for us, not the other way around. The lies just keep coming. I am outraged that they are demanding we shut up and let them do what they want. Do they not understand it is OUR money they are messing around with? I am uneducated, but I do have some common sense, and I know when I am being lied to.

Thomas B hates American kids. As for “paying” these people their pay is based on how much they take in as contributions, they work on commission And sorry to tell you but the Dems are still doing very well in gathering contributions, it is MUCH easier when you are the party in power you hhave so much more to be able to offer. Of course this can all be offset by contributing heavily to the Republicans, I mean except to your RINOS

This is for John ryan – why are you being so hateful? Facts are facts, and your dismissing them is not going to change it. Have you not been understanding what has been going on around you? I am an old lady (well over 65) and new to blogging, but I can assure you, don’t turn a blind eye to what is happening. It will affect you and your children, your grandchildren, and more and more and more….get my point? We listened to Obama lie during his campaign, and because of it his only recourse was to call in favors from his chicago mob friends to buy the election for him. They did, and now we are all paying the price for it. Be more aware of what is going on around you. Don’t hang onto the democratic label because if you do not do EXACTLY what they want you to do, they will sell you out in a Tennessee heartbeat. Just so you know. I used to be a democrat, but changed when they decided they were the important ones, not us lowly peons.

It was predicted awhile back that Democrats would use funds from the constitutionally unauthorized Stimulus Package to fund pro-socialist propaganda. Pro-healthcare supporters are possibly one example of this abuse of our tax dollars.

@Madalyn: Don’t expect much of an intelligent response from John Ryan. He’s notorious for leaving his liberal droppings and running away. His comments have all the originality of the latest marching orders from the Democrat National Committee.
