I almost had hopes he was telling Congress to shut up…….
I keep getting spam from the White House that is pushing the current plan for health care “reform”.
The stuff comes to me claiming to be from Barack Obama and says he believes we can treat more people with less money while reducing waiting times all without having to change anything we like about our present coverage, if we like it. I think that sounds like a fraud and a con scheme. Could be one of those Nigerian scams!
How DARE this F*ing ASS, who himself spent 4 years in a Democrat controlled Congress creating this mess, how DARE he tell the American People who pay his salary to SHUT UP about anything? How DARE he!

With Polosi accusing the doubters of being Nazis, with the White House setting up a snitch hotline, and with Obama denegrating the office of the President is such an awful way, I truly fear for my country. What have we done to ourselves??

The people who were a big part of creating this “mess” were the democratically controlled Congress (since 2006) that Mr Obama was most certainly part of! Perhaps “they” should shut-up. And perhaps they should “listen” to the outrage and concerns from their constituents instead of trying to stonewall them and ram a bill through that most of them apparently have not even read. (still haven’t gotten the taste of the “Porkulus” bill out of my mouth yet)
Further, what “Obama” wants this bill to be about is immaterial—this bill was not written by the President—nor is the President the legislative branch of gov. What DNC/Pelsoi/Reid controlled congress wants/does is what is going to end up being the bill on his desk to sign. And they have already shown they have no qualms going up against a sitting president to get what they want. Thats exactly why people are up in arms that their local reps, senators, etc., and trying to give them an earful and want them to know they aren’t going to accept Pelosi care from a Health Czar.

Extreme, radical left-leaning democrats have been laying down the ground work for their current crap health-care plans for years.
It’s not a stretch to say that abortion (allowing the killing of unborn children age 0 to 6 months or more), if not eventually STRONGLY opposed, will easily lead to the killing (euthanasia) of elderly ill (or not useful to society anymore) or dying.
Social security, a bureaucratic nightmare, functions on a day-to-day basis; paying out what it collects. Liberals refer to it as successful socialism in America – which represents a free-enterprise capitalistic society. But, keep in mind that this social experiment failed a long time ago. Interestingly, not because it is socialism, but rather because it has been guarded by unrestrained, greedy wolves in government who have drained what was supposed to be an safe-guarded fund. Employee payroll deductions are the highest they have ever been and the government free-bee hand-outs have never been more liberal. This can’t go on forever.
If the Social Security money pot is to remain for congressional tapping into, and since citizens are living much, much, much longer than ever before (many to age 100), in order to “SAVE” money, Congress via the health care pitch will have to trim the population, control health care, and trim-down health benefits. Denial of health benefits to the infirm elderly though “end of life counseling” seems like an ideal plan (the Obama health plan) for saving money.
By 2020, there will be more people taking from Social Security than paying in. Either you get more people paying in, or you do away with people taking benefits out. The Obama plan focuses on the latter.
Can the Obama’s socialized health plan be any clearer. Read it. Or, read about it from people who have read it. If it is not evil, it is at the very least sinister. If the government wasted away the idea of Social Security, what do you suppose will happen with health care. The post office is a good example of government’s inability to manage.
The U.S. Post Office will, before too long, have to close down perhaps 1,000 post offices across the U.S. Why? The post office is a monopoly. You can’t pay any other entity to deliver mail. And, why with it’s millions of dollars can’t the post office, using high paid consultants and high paid officials, determine and plot a course for at least break-even.
Is it no surprise to me that, once people learn what’s in the Obama plan they become violently against it and against Obama — thus the drop in Obama’s approval rating.
America’s societal heritage is free-enterprise and capitalism. These are the ideals that have lead to the U.S. becoming the greatest country on earth. Obama’s odd plan to put the square peg in a round hole will not work. Our entire system is structured and geared to work in a manner consistent with democratic principles; 180 degrees away from Obama’s plans.
