Whheeee it’s fun too.

Why not get some of your own.

So I suppose we will see more Black Panther “security” workers at these Townhall meetings, like the charming three who adorned the Philly polling place last year? I CAN’T WAIT!!!

Mike, this is a great post. But what struck me about the way the White House is dealing with it is the comparison between class and crass. The Conservative.Com had some information about this. Notice the way adults handle dissent:

White House Press Secretary Ari Fleischer on Anti-war protesters:
I think the president welcomes the fact that we are a democracy and people in the United States, unlike Iraq, are free to protest and to make their case known,”

White House Press Secretary Trent Duffy on anti-war protests:
The American people have a right to protest, and the right of free speech is something that we’re fighting for in this war on terror, to preserve that right of free speech. So the President welcomes opinions from all Americans.

and the way the children handle it:

White House Press Secretary Robert Gibbs on health care protests:
“I hope people will take a jaundiced eye to what is clearly the Astroturf nature of grass-roots lobbying,” said White House press secretary Robert Gibbs during a morning off-camera session in his office with reporters.
“This is manufactured anger,” he said.

@Aqua: Thanks for sharing that contrast. It’s abundantly clear that the Obama White House views everything through a harsh partisan prism. That’s why I have said he is not President of the United States, he’s the President of the left.

“mobs of extremists”

Soulds like some terrorists to me! get DHS to ship them off to Gitmo!

I guess now when there’s any disagreement with O’s policies, it’ll be automatically labelled “astroturf” in nature. All manufactured. Just like the tea parties were all manufactured, eh? Right.

p.s. Mike, this is off topic, but wanted to say sorry I didn’t get my essay in soon enough. I was starting to work on it, but didn’t realize I would miss the deadline. I promised you I’d get one done, so maybe it’s yet to come.

@SoCal Chris: Email Curt and ask if it’s too late. I’ll have to flunk you in this course if you don’t get your homework done!

@Mike’s America:
🙂

p.s. But, I don’t have it done yet, though, “Teacher Mike”! Oh, sheesh, I hope I don’t flunk!

This White House reminds me of a cheating husband, because he cheats, he suspects that everyone does. How many left wing blogs are carrying the water(astroturfing) for this administration? What about the meetings Rahmbo conducts with Media Matters, Daily Kos, etc every morning?

Remember the posters that are paid per post to infiltrate conservative blog sites with their drival? I think some of them showed up here during the campaign and again during the run up to the auto bailout last spring.

What about the Code Pinkos showing up to intimidate Condi Rice during Congressional testimony with fake blood on their hands. Who gave the idiots their tickets to get in? Like they expected them to sit quietly and listen?

Hey Mike, apparently due to an “over zealous staffer” wink, wink, AARP was mistakenly included in Pelosi’s statement. I doubt it has anything to do with all the seniors dumping them due to AARP’s past support of Obamascare.
