Things Looking Bad For Democrats? Use Bush Lied People Died Story Line

Loading

As Obama’s poll numbers continue to slide

As the country gets that palpable sense that we are heading in the wrong direction.

The Democrats decide to pull out their oft used tactic…..blame Bush for everything:

Democrats on the House Intelligence Committee decided to reveal CIA Director Leon Panetta’s admission that the agency misled Congress after waiting weeks with no response from Panetta, sources familiar with the matter tell POLITICO.

The Democrats, in a letter released Wednesday night, said “top CIA officials have concealed significant actions… and misled” members of Congress since 2001.

Notice the time period? Yeah…

In a June 26 letter to Mr. Panetta discussing his testimony, Democrats said that the agency had “misled members” of Congress for eight years about the classified matters, which the letter did not disclose. “This is similar to other deceptions of which we are aware from other recent periods,” said the letter, made public late Wednesday by Representative Rush D. Holt, Democrat of New Jersey, one of the signers.

In an interview, Mr. Holt declined to reveal the nature of the C.I.A.’s alleged deceptions,. But he said, “We wouldn’t be doing this over a trivial matter.”

Just can’t make this stuff up. Panetta said there was no such deceiving in past discussions with Congress but now that the numbers are tanking and Obama is getting resistence, all of sudden, Bush lied people died reappears…..oh, you bet its coming. This is the ground work.

Meanwhile Pelosi has come out with the latest Democrat talking point. “Driving Republicans To Distraction,” and this nugget is delicious:

In a related development, President Obama threatened to veto the pending Intelligence Authorization Bill if it included a provision that would allow information about covert actions to be given to the entire House and Senate Intelligence Committees, rather than the so-called Gang of Eight — the Democratic and Republican leaders of both houses of Congress and the two Intelligence Committees.

The view from the oval office changes quite dramatically eh?

WOW. When in doubt, throw the agents under the bus. You know their morale is bad already, but kick em while they are down??

This is all about Pelosi bitch-slapping Panetta. If any of this is true, and I have grave doubts that it is, they need to prove it. If they can’t, they need to go to jail.

Meanwhile the unemployment time bomb is still ticking under the lying Pelosi’s chair.

It’s the economy stupid .. And Colonel Obama and TOTUS making promising everyone knew he couldn’t keep is going to get the blame.

The part the libtards never get, it’s their equity, savings and job too that goes in the shitter,

The economy was not Bush’s fault nor is it the Democrats fault. You all know this. Settle down.

Strangely missing from this discussion is exactly what topic the intelligence briefings lied about. For all we know, it may have been the size of Saddam Hussien’s pen*s.

Should be interesting to find out what Panetta may know about Pelosi

One day I hope to wake up and find that Piglosi and Ried, and Obama, was just a bad nightmare. This can’t be happening in real life can it?

There is speculation that this is what the issue is about regarding the CIA and the misleading charges being leveled:

Some don’t think it is about Pelosi at all, because Panetta purportedly found out about the big “Undisclosed Secret” and went straight to Congress to report to them on it, saying he had only heard about it the day before. This had to be his way of distancing himself from it as best he can.

It has to be something pretty big, everyone already has talked the Waterboarding/Torture issue to death, so it’s probably not about that…..

I wonder if the story is soon going to break big and wide, and folks are trying to get ahead of it.

On December 4, 1981, President Ronald Reagan issued Executive Order 12333 on
“United States Intelligence Activities.” Section 2.11 of the order provides: “Prohibition on
Assassination. No person employed by or acting on behalf of the United States Government
shall engage in, or conspire to engage in, assassination.” Section 2.12 of the order prohibits
indirect participation in activities prohibited by the order, stating: “Indirect participation.
No agency of the Intelligence Community shall participate in or request any person to
undertake activities forbidden by this Order.” E.O. 12333 is still in force.”

Ugh. This is getting ever so tiresome.

When will this petulant whining child and his mindless lackeys lay off the “Bush ate my homework” lame arsed excuses?

Obviously, the public is buying this shite less and less.

The CIA has not been effective since the end of the last Reagan Admin.
