Another Democrat Surprise Fast Track on Cap and Trade

CAP AND TRADE BILL SCHEDULED FOR VOTE TODAY!!!!

If this bill passes it is 100% sure that electrical and fuel prices will go up. This is just what we don't need in a recession.

As usual with Congress there is no time to read the legislation, but it is available here http://thomas.loc.gov/cgi-bin/bdquery/z?d111:H.R.2454:
http://thomas.loc.gov/cgi-bin/query/D?c111:2:./temp/~c111oioiLP::

The House has scheduled a vote on the American Clean Energy and Security Act today! The biggest environmental bill ever, and the MSM doesn't report on it's content.

Republicans say this is tantamount to a national energy tax that will cost households thousands of dollars a year. (Talk about conservative projections,) Average consumers are likely to face higher prices for electricity and fuels as companies are made to spend more to reduce "global warming" which more and more scientists of the world are viewing with skepticism.

Call your House Representative and tell them to vote no on HR2454
House Switchboard 202-225-3121 or 202-224-3121
http://stubbornfacts1776.com/?tag=hr-2454

What I will tell them: I am desperately urging that you vote NO on HR2454. Your constituents here simply can not afford any higher energy costs in the midst of this recession. It is in fact a heartless thing to do to poor families. Those of us who have lost their jobs are hurting with this recession, and we are struggling to make ends meet like never before.

Increasing our energy costs at this time is the worst possible thing you can do to your voters, I think that the Democratic party is making a huge mistake to try to fast-track this legislation, and I can assure you that lower and middle class voters will remember when electricity rates rise, fuel oil prices increase, which will cause a domino effect, all while our wages continue to lie stagnate.

The first and most basic moral law is, "Do no harm." Because we can feel pain and suffering, we can imagine the pain and suffering of others, and we can act accordingly to minimize the harm we cause. Are our leaders in Washington DC not listening to the suffering this economy has caused?

The Supreme Court is so far off base on this that it isn't even funny. You absolutely must not fall for bad science and even more foolish political correctness. CO2 is far from being a pollutant and is, in fact, necessary for life.

Will you have the public wearing some kind of gas mask to "capture" their CO2 exhalations? Will you ban the use of CO2 in certain surgeries? In food freezing? In certain pH control for wastewater treatments? Will champagne, sparkling water, soft drinks and beer be outlawed? There are metal treatments and freeze grinding applications that utilize CO2. Do you have a replacement technology? How about the companies that PRODUCE CO2 for consumer and industrial consumption? Will you criminalize these companies?

CO2 has been and remains an integral part of life on planet Earth, and deciding to make it a pollutant in the name of greenhouse gas elimination is downright foolishness. Fundamental research has shown that CO2 ALWAYS lags a rise in temperature, and nothing that we do will affect the quantity of CO2 on the planet. It is a joke to think so. At about 0.038% of the atmosphere it is dwarfed by at least two other gases that arguably contribute to a greenhouse gas effect. The leading candidate is water in the form of clouds. Just recall what happens when clouds give way to the Sun. It gets warmer. The Sun warms this planet, not CO2. But wIll you declare water (clouds) a polllutant as well?

As An Academic Physician, scientific researcher, and engineer (EE) I find it appalling that you make the unsubstantiated statements about "global warming" being attributed to "man-made" causes and that you propose to regulate CO2 and save the human race. WHAT HYPOCRISY !! Lets see a list of publications from you people in PEER reviewed journals on "Climate Change". Bet it's a short list. It is evident that you have a political agenda that has as its end goal an ever-ending quest to control more of our lives and justify your existence, which without new crisis would favor the termination of the agency. I am against your regulating anything!
