Does anyone really believe Michelle Obama did not have a huge hand in the firing of Inspector General Walpin last week, especially seeing as how large a role she plays in the organizations involved? Michelle Malkin:
Guess where the First Lady will be on Monday?
Why, she’ll be delivering the keynote address at the 2009 National Conference on Volunteering and Service in San Francisco.
And who is co-sponsoring the conference?
Why, the Corporation for National and Community Service (CNCS)!
Yes, that’s the same CNCS that is the parent organization of AmeriCorps.
It’s the same CNCS that last year suspended Sacramento mayor/Obama crony Kevin Johnson from receiving federal funds after then-inspector general Gerald Walpin blew the whistle on massive fraud and abuse of AmeriCorps dollars for personal and political gain.
It’s the same CNCS that then sat by and meekly watched Team Obama and the U.S. Attorney in Sacramento railroad Walpin after the November 2008 election for doing his damned job.
And now, there is no honest, independent watchdog to raise questions on behalf of taxpayers as the Obama political machine takes over the national service juggernaut. How…convenient.
And we’re not only talking about a few speeches to the organizations, we’re talking about the First Lady being waaaay to involved in them:
Mrs. Obama’s interest is more than passing. She ran the AmeriCorps-funded non-profit Public Allies in Chicago from 1993-1996 and served on its national board until 2001. Like so many of the AmeriCorps recipients investigated by the inspector general’s office over the years, Public Allies was found to have violated basic eligibility and compliance rules. A January 2007 audit reported that the group lacked internal controls verifying that recipients who received education grants and living allowances were legal citizens or permanent residents as required by law.
And lets not forget that the former chief of staff for Michelle Obama is now a “senior adviser” at CNCS:
First Lady Michelle Obama’s chief of staff, Jackie Norris, is being sent to the Corporation for National and Community Service (CNCS) in what is both a White House shake-up and an indication of the first lady’s sway over the corporation that oversees AmeriCorps, Learn and Serve and the Senior Corps.
Observers believe Norris, who Obama came to know early in the Iowa caucus campaign, was forced out of the White House so that long-time Obama friend Susan Sher could take over. But those same observers see her appointment as senior adviser to the corporation as an overall win for CNCS, believing that Norris still will have a straight line to the White House.
On another note, the FBI is finally investigating Sacramento Mayor Johnson’s obvious obstruction:
The FBI is investigating allegations that an executive at a nonprofit founded by Mayor Kevin Johnson obstructed a federal inquiry into the group’s spending.
Two months ago, Johnson and the St. HOPE Academy agreed to repay nearly $424,000 in federal grants to settle an investigation into whether the nonprofit misused AmeriCorps money.
Acting U.S. Attorney Lawrence G. Brown said he asked the FBI’s Sacramento division to determine whether e-mails written by Johnson were deleted during the earlier investigation.
And lastly, how can we forget how deeply connected these groups in question are with ACORN?

It is my opinion the Michelle wears the pants in the family… Butt… whoever is in charge of this train wreck, they are breaking laws, trashing the Constitution and our CONgress doesn NOTHING to put a stop to it. Guess it’s hard to do when you have the Justice department in your pocket.

Entitlement is a State of mind. Laws are a buffet. Pick the ones that matter to You and ignore the rest. The ends justify the means in that Mindset. Saddest Administration ever and sad days for America until We have had enough of this Farce. That day is coming but not soon enough for me.
There will be due process but no justice until we send the thugocracy home and the current corrupt over spending Congress gets the news on 2010, expect more mischief and economic mayhem, waste, fraud and abuse. In 2012 America will have a decision to make and I hope will choose more wisely than in 08.
I expect reparations to be the next issue for folks that never were slaves. Amnesty is coming. Buying votes is not cheap but it will be Tax Dollars and not their personal funds for the Punks in Office.

I am one of the American Grand Jury Members. What we are seeing is the Third Reich, and we have to stop it. However, the President is only the tip of the iceberg. We should, we MUST, bring down this Usurpation. Why are we here? Who is looking at or using the US Constitution?
The Declaration of Independence: “…it is their Right, it is their Duty, to throw off such Government, and to provide new Guards for their future Security…”
But how? We go back to the US Constitution for the answer.
Article I Sec. 6~”The Senators and Representatives…shall in all cases EXCEPT treason, felony and breach of the peace, be privileged from arrest during their attendance at the session of their respective Houses…”
Article II Sec. 4~”The President, Vice President, and all civil officers of the United States shall be removed from office on impeachment for, and conviction of, treason, bribery, or other high crimes and misdemeanors.”
Article III Sec. 3~”Treason against the United States shall consist only in levying war against them [US], or in adhering to their enemies, giving them aid and comfort. No person shall be convicted of treason unless on the testimony of two wittnesses to the same overt act, or on confession in open court.”
I have seen mounds of evidence in the Grand Jury (GJ), and this has been delivered by people in higher authority. Because of this evidence, I am now also aware that nearly every congressman, and senator are guilty of the crimes listed in these three articles. You can probably make a list of crimes if you just think about it.
We have to try our congressmen and senators, and our judges–who, BTW, are the weakest branch of the government, according to the Founders. Initially, our federal government was begun by 300 men. Today, it controls every government in the nation, and has become THE government of the nation.
Besides God Almighty, we have the wonderful US Constitution to keep us free. Let’s use it.
i have a friend and obama supporter who is excited, she is being sent to this as part of her job. she works for national and community service for the governers office here in washington state. she is so excited and is blind to the obama’s. i told her today after she told me where she is flying to tomorrow that she should have fun with her under fed angry woman. i asked about this whole mess with the guy being fired and she had no idea….wonder why? i really like this friend but am finding it increasingly hard to be around her. our families used to spend a ton of time together, after this election, not so much.
Forget Congress, isn’t there about 20 million or so people in this country willing to unite and
stand up against this asshole regime..or are the Iranians the only ones with BALLS!!!!!

One woman has passed away and the “wise and honest” Michelle Obama has only recently found something to be proud of in Amarica…presuming she meant America when she said ‘my country’. I aint hopeful about the change these two are peddling.

George W Bush did make mistakes, but we never had to wonder where his heart was.
He loved this country and made that clear with his “ACTIONS as well as words”. I will never forget how fondly our millitary responded to him when he addressed them. The never seemed to doubt his sincereity or honesty. He always stood for this country and never went around the world apologizing for our very exsistance. He declared time and again that “freedom was in the heart of every human being”. And what are we watching now in Iran?
May God grant His mercy and grace on the United States of America and make us a “smarter and stronger nation” in the future or we will “be no more”.
It’s been said before but this is only the begining.
