I’ll take a few of them to live with me. I can’t however, guarantee that they won’t fall down any stairs though.
Likely to get support? Perhaps. It just depends on the political fallout the Dems and Obama will want to absorb for racing willy-nilly into an EO without having a plan.
To close Gitmo, they have to find homes for the homeless. Can’t bring in guys who’ve gotten terrorist training without breaking immigration laws. Can’t send ’em elsewhere. Will Obama fly them to his “Gitmo, aka Bagram” and park the worst of the worst in the middle of the active battlefield? Boy would that be dumb.
For Pelosi/Reid, they’ll have to eat their shorts for whining about closing Gitmo all these years, and then thwarting the Zero’s attempt to do so when they don’t cooperate on relocation of detainees.
For Obama, he’ll not only be reneging on a campaign promise, but he’ll be backing down on a promise to his buddies int’l world… not to mention look like the rash fool he is for racing to the EO table, pen in hand, and heady with his new found power.
Yup… gonna be fun to watch this political stage play run. SRO here.

Minneapolis, Minnesota, is home to a large and vocal group of Somali fundamentalist Muslims, the sort who:
sue the grocery store for telling check-out girls it’s their job to scan cans of SPAM (pork is unclean);
who sue the airport taxi company for telling drivers they can’t discriminate against blind customers with seeing-eye dogs (dogs are unclean) or customers carrying a bottle of duty-free liquor (alcohol is unclean);
who run a state-funded Charter School that requires daily Muslim prayer (all prayers except Muslim prayers are unclean);
who demand the state-funded community colleges install foot-washing basins in the bathrooms (Muslim feet are unclean) and that YMCAs set sex-segregated swimming pool hours (apparently, even Muslim women are unclean!).
Groups of young men from the Minneapolis Somali community recently have made trips abroad that the US Government think may be related to terrorist training.
The US Congressman from Minneapolis is Keith Ellison, a Muslim.
I can’t imagine a better place to resettle wrongfully accused innocent adherants to the Religion of Peace (TM) now being held in Bushitler shameful concentration camp in Cuba, than in Minneapolis.
@joe doakes: All that Muslim obsession with cleanliness makes me wonder why most of them don’t bathe? A Libyan was in my freshman dorm suite and the guy smelled so bad I had to hold my nose, run into his room and open a window while he was out just to clear the air a bit. When he did shower it was even worse. The whole bathroom smelled for days.

What about the bill to bring Gaza “refugees” to America and give them housing, food and all necessaries? Why are we doing this and why is no one protesting?
