al-Qaeda Magazine Based In United States

Loading

Rusty Shackleford at The Jawa Report has the news that the first US based al-Qaeda publication is now being produced by a man living in North Carolina:

It’s called Jihad Recollections and is a production of Charlotte, NC al Qaeda supporter Samir Khan’s self-styled jihad media company, as-Fursan. You can download a PDF version at the links provided by Sammy here.

The magazine is 70 pages of the same kind of garbage that you’d expect from al Qaeda itself, and certainly not from an American living in North Carolina.

In addition to links to al Qaeda produced videos all within a clear context of support (note to Sammy: many of your links don’t work. Better luck embedding them next time) It includes two English feature length articles by al Qaeda’s #1 and #2: Four Practical Steps to Expand the Global Jihad, by Osama bin Laden, and Have We Forgotten Who Is America?, by Ayman al-Zawahiri and Nasir al-Fahd.

Another article is a translation of an al-Qaeda produced video extolling the virtues of former operational leader Abu Laith al-Libi.

The authors tell the readers they should NOT integrate into western society and even have an article entitled Principals Of Guerrilla Warfare…..all from US soil.

Check out The Jawa Report for the whole scoop.

Can something be done to stop this thing from continuing to publish? Better yet, from continuing to live in America?

When the POTUS bows to King of Saudi Arabia, this just seems like par for the course. neObama is probably the editor. He got is practice at the HLR you know…

They’re hoping we ban it – this is a provocation, a “suicide bomb” allowed, even protected, by American law and the Constitution. Those who hate us are not fools and they know our weakest point: the fools among us.

Here we really see the value of freedom of speech. It’s the sort of thing our troops overseas have been exposed to for a long time, so they know the evil they’re fighting against; maybe it’s about time for the home front to see it, too. Maybe this will end the gap between overseas Americans and those at home concerning recognition of the threat America and the free world are facing. If nothing else, it shows the cognizant among us where a viper lurks. Most are pretty hard to see, without a lot of hard work. This is despicable, but at least it’s better than the many who talk peace and tolerance to the media and preach hate behind closed doors.

This is horrible, but maybe this is what it will take to get those who are still blind among us to start shunning these vipers and start using the same free speech to unshackle themselves, to start demanding that we call it “jihad” again and those who practice it “terrorists”; to start recognizing that we are in a war that we did not start and that is being waged against us by people whose will to win appears, thus far, to be greater than our own (as many Americans will not even recognize that it exists, let alone that it is indeed winnable–and it is); to start pointing out religious intolerance aimed against us for what it really is; to quit enabling the enemy by accepting his claims of victimhood and using Hillary- and Obama-dialogue-speak, and instead to start using good old-fashioned American “call it like it is” speak; and most of all, please, dear Heaven, please! to stop criticizing and condemning ourselves, to recognize ourselves as the last, best, and brightest hope for freedom and good in the world, and to continue to fight and live up to the high standards we have inherited from past Americans and which we alone can pass on to the new generations.

Let it be.

There’s no such thing as Jihad, the State Department has told us that. It’s just a kumbaya movement for people seeking to maximize their inner spiritual development, like a weight loss and exercise program for muslims. At worst it must be like an Overseas Contingency Operation Inflicting NonIslamic Postpartum Abortion Practices on Infidels (OCOIN PAPIs).

Those who condone acts of terrorism as far as I’m concerned lose their rights to freedom of speech. I remember when Thatcher banned Gerry Adams voice being heard on TV or radio – as she “starve the terrorist and the hijacker of the oxygen of publicity on which they depend”. in 1988. The media at the time cried out against this and used loopholes to substitute an actor’s voice instead. However I still think such actions have merit.

“Soldier of Misfortune” magazine. Aspiring Jihadis will spend many happy hours perusing this publication. In the bathroom, with the door locked.

The POTUS is more concerned with shutting up folks like Hannity and Limbaugh. And who knows, maybe even the Flopping Aces team!

Maybe Obama finds the aforementioned more of a threat to his agenda than he does the editorial staff of this Al-queda journal??? 😯

Less than 9 years after 9/11.

This is surreal.

@Hattie Mae:

What timing you have Hattie! This out today:

The White House will have new powers to access private online data, regulate the cyber security industry and even shut down Internet traffic under the provisions of Senate bills No. 773 and 778, introduced by Sen. Jay Rockefeller, D-W.V. It’s called the Cybersecurity Act of 2009.
