Obama Looking For Muslims To Work Closely With Him In His Administration

It appears Obama is actively looking for Muslim’s to fill spots in his administration.

CHICAGO — In a bid to get more Muslim Americans working in the Obama administration, a book with resumes of 45 of the nation’s most qualified — Ivy League grads, Fortune 500 executives and public servants, all carefully vetted — has been submitted to the White House.

The effort, driven by community leaders and others, including U.S. Rep. Keith Ellison, D-Minn., was bumped up two weeks because White House officials heard about the venture, said J. Saleh Williams, program coordinator for the Congressional Muslim Staffers Association, who sifted through more than 300 names.

“It was mostly under the radar,” Williams said. “We thought it would put (the president) in a precarious position. We didn’t know how closely he wanted to appear to be working with the Muslim American community.”

While there are many fine Muslims throughout this country the person doing the vetting, Rep. Keith Ellison, brings chills up and down my spine. This is the man who recently made the pilgrimage to Mecca on the dime of none other then the Muslim Brotherhood:

WASHINGTON – There was no fanfare, no press release when Keith Ellison made the pilgrimage to the Muslim holy city of Mecca last week….

While he consulted the State Department over any potential danger, Ellison said, he wasn’t worried about his safety. He traveled mainly with fellow members of his Minneapolis mosque; no security guards went along. His expenses were paid for by the Muslim American Society of Minnesota.

Ellison said he’d like to make the journey again with his family. His wife is not a Muslim, but their four children are being raised as Muslims….

Muslim American Society:

In recent years, the U.S. Brotherhood operated under the name Muslim American Society, according to documents and interviews. One of the nation’s major Islamic groups, it was incorporated in Illinois in 1993 after a contentious debate among Brotherhood members.

Robert Spencer rightly asks how the MSM and the left would feel if a conservative took a religious trip on the dime of a Christian organization with a document that states they were intent on “eliminating and destroying the Western civilization from within and ‘sabotaging’ its miserable house” so that Christian law would replace the U.S. Constitution.”

Ellison was not only a member of Louis Farrakhan’s rabidly anti-Semitic Nation of Islam, friendly with people who murdered policemen and those who have been engaged in domestic terrorism but he is the choice of the Saudi Wahhabist lobby in his run for Congress and has actively courted groups with Islamist sympathies, with ties to organizations like Hamas and those who believe that the U.S. Constitution should be replaced with Sharia law.

This one done in January of 2007 is about his use of the Koran to be sworn in.

Just check out all those groups that support Keith Ellison and you will get a feel for the type of people he will help “vett” for President Obama. But I’m guessing any President who, during an interview with Al-Arabiya TV, put Muslims first when describing the type of people America is made up of:

“America is a country of Muslims, Jews, Christians and non-believers,” Obama said on Al-arabiya. “Regardless of your faith, people have common hopes and common dreams.”

Will enjoy the type of Muslims Rep. Keith Ellison will choose for him.
