Stimulating Seattle Protest

Photo via: American Typo. He had this to say about the rally:

“Today, I had the opportunity to attend a protest in Seattle against the stimulus bill. It was an orderly affair with a few speeches, a recording of Ronald Reagan waxing on big government and a kumbaya moment singing the National Anthem. (Mind you, I like singing the National Anthem and the crowd was in pretty good tune. But it’s still kumbaya.)”

I love the grassroot appeal of these rallies – very Sheepdog like! Quite the Kodak moment we are witnessing. As Americans stand up to the reckless spending spree by the dem controlled government. For the past 8 years, you never saw a liberal organize a protest against spending by the Bush administration. They protested just about everything and anything, but never specifically government spending – unless it was directed at cutting military spending – the ‘slow bleed‘ campaign. Quite telling about the character of today’s liberal.

It really says something if you can get people to come out and protest big government socialism in Seattle.

I cropped the portion of that photo with the young skateboarder in answer to one of Larry W’s comments on my new GOP Blueprint:

Blue Print for the Coming GOP Revolution

Skye: In that post I am citing your Sheepdogs and PCC as models of the new conservative activisim necessary to take back our country from the barbarians.

Plans are also underway for a protest in Mesa Arizona tomorrow, where President Obama will present his plans for mortgage relief. A major talk radio show host, Bruce Jacobs, is organizing a rally, as well as the Arizona Patriots. I’m gonna be there!

I never joined any protest before in my life. I think I should try at least once.
