This reminds me of the following item in the link below, titled, “Why I Stand With W.”
The author seems to be on a similar page and quotes a couple of lines from a scene in Sylvester Stallone’s movie, “Cobra.” Really would have added to his post if he would have photo shopped the face of President Bush on a Stallone shot. It’s a good read anyway.
If Bush is Jack Bauer – is Obama – President Palmer? As soon as Obama started to go for the whitehouse – I started to think how many wingnuts were going to attempt to take him out like Palmer. But then I have watched too many episodes of 24.
Palmer? Oh boy….about 180 degrees from Palmer except for the color of his skin. Palmer did what he thought was best for his country, as did Bush, Obama does whats best for his cult of personality. Like you….watch 24 religiously.

How many “wingnuts” have attempted to murder a President? How many have been behind terrorist attacks? VERY few. Leftists? There is a laundry list. ALF, Weather Underground, Weathermen, the Symbionese Liberation Army, Puerto Rican nationalists, Theodore Kaczynski, and ELF. There are more but you get the point.
@GaffaUK: The comparison is not new. It’s been made for a while now. Even in the current season (on in 11 minutes!) has a lot of relevance to to the issues and moral debating that plagues us today. Just listen to the internal quandary of the president in the show; seems to reflect some of the concerns and dilemma our own president might have faced.

Yes, President Bush has been an apt and wise leader. True leadership is so different than mere management.
