So much for “transparency” in the Chicago gubernatorial world. Blago issued 22 pardons Friday… Aides refused to provide data on why they were pardoned, or what crimes were committed.

This ought to be an interesting shopping list of names for those focused on the Blago scandal… oh the ties that could bind. Or perhaps the cuffs it could release? Considering he’s largely ignored his pardon powers, he’s up to his eyeballs in short order. Could it be he finds some panacea for his political ailments in the mix of recipients?

Blago’s on record saying “I will fight.. I will fight..I will fight” his charges. So what’s the hurry, Rod? Especially since the premature arrest may result in too little evidence to secure a conviction of the Governor.

Below, the names…

Jackie Wayne Collins
Constance Glass
Michael Gordon
Sylvia Johnson
Donald Kendall
John Kidwell
Bret Lefever
Juan Linval
Latasha Lofton
Marcus Lyons
Alex May
Donald Mitchell
James Moreland
Joel Naskiewicz
Jeffrey Nussbaum
Larry Pierson
Katrina Raickett
Shanyta Russell
Edward Lee Smith
Robert Eugene Smith
Michael Tabler
Lora Thomas
