Keep up the good work ChrisG, may your “X number of days and a wake-up”, fly by as swiftly as if they were (F-15) Eagle borne, bro’. I hear you on what you’re saying about AFN. I remember doing a lot of “talking back to the TV” in my own time when we would get the unbiased military news reports, followed by the fluff that passes as “real news” in America. After a while, I began to think only those who were overseas in the military actually ever knew anything approaching “the truth” of much of what was going on back home & where we were. Granted, even AFN had the “official” filtered version of the news, but it was “spun” nowhere near as badly as the media versions. And the Command level weekly newsletters & group emails were other rather reliable sources.

Great article Chris. Thanks for the good work in Afghanistan and Iraq. Don’t be too much upset with the American leftist Medias, we have the same in Canada. But we are not stupid, we do not believe them. Like they say: “Stupidity is not the inability to learn, it’s the Unwillingness to Learn”… lol. And that is the problem with the leftists.

BTW, when you reach Kandahar, please say hello to all the Canadian’s troops up there. Tell them that we Canadians (not the leftist’s ones, of course) appreciate their work and that we really care about them and wishes them well.

chrisg, you are awesome and i am glad that you guys and gals over there know that there are those of us who don’t believet he msm. we know what you guys are doing and are thankful you are there and that you are staying safe. we are also very glad to have clear and accurate reports from the ground there, it makes the msm look all the more inept and bias. thank you for your service and thank those who serve with you.
