Random House is the largest publisher of English language books in the world. Among other things, it owns Bantam Books and Dell and publishes the New Collegiate Dictionary. Where's the conflict of interest? Did Obama hire an influential Random House associated person for a key White House position? A respected private foundation decides to open an office in Washington. If/when Obama does business with the foundation in his capacity as President, then he'll have a potential conflict of interest.
