It's so hard when your loved ones are dispatched to a war zone, and no, not everyone can know what it's like until that experience visits them. This soldier's parents have shared a powerful message and their son's experience should soften hearts. Their son was gifted with something special by that Iraqi woman, something that will stay with him for the rest of his life. I wish my nephew had more experience with the Iraqi people like her. His experience was with the worst of them and it has stained his opinion of Iraqis. I know he knows there were good people over there but he didn't get to interact with *good people*, his comments have been so negative. It's good to hear this part of it and will forward your post to Ft. Riley. Say a prayer for FA's "Face of Grace" --ChrisG. I miss him when he's not here with us. Thanks Wordsmith.
