Fair enough criticism, Richard. However, I noticed that Barack Obama’s history of failure in everything he has ever done, from his community organizing to his promise to send money to the school in Kenya to his work to improve Chicago public schools with the Chicago Anneberg Challenge, did not seem to hurt him at all while running for President.

After four years of the Manchurian president, the country will see its first female president. In two elections we will have erased racial division and broke the ultimate ‘glass ceiling’ for women.

I wonder what will the perpetually victimized liberals cling to after these perennial favorites are no longer available to them?

I’ll be sure to make a bunch of noise here when I’m ready to start on these. It will not be long, although I am thinking that using topics that discuss changes that are occurring because of specific Obama administration/Dem congress actions will be harder hitting than just generic info on liberal policy fallacies. I’ll set up an email address dedicated to this project and post it here within the next couple of days.

And yes, if you can get the newspapers to print such “letters”, not only will more people see it, but spreading the same message across the country within a short time frame should be effective.

The real trick will be writing in a style that sounds sympathetic to the liberals while plainly pointing out their mistakes.

I agree with motivating our side to do more than show up and vote. Many, including myself have lamented the sadly uneducated state of much of the populace. This blissful ignorance leads normal people, who may not be actual morons, into making very bad decisions such as electing any Democrat, at any time, under any circumstance. The poster, Real American Patriot is quite likely a very good example of this. Someone who has been so brain washed and ill educated by lies, distortions, and omissions as to believe that actively working for the destruction of America makes one a patriot. Progressives, Liberals, Socialists have been actively warping the information available to the average American citizen since the 1950’s and 60’s. Our education system has slowly stopped teaching our children what exactly it is that makes our country great, and what it is that our founding fathers envisioned and stood for. Meanwhile the media has grown ever more hostile towards these national traits until, to most people who do not seek out deeper sources of information, our national strengths are portrayed as weaknesses or even as somehow “evil”.

So, to my point. I can not afford to buy a television network, so how am I to fight back against the ever present “white noise” of liberal America hate? I can afford a computer printer, a few cartridges of black ink, and a few reams of colored printer paper. I plan on printing up hand bills on various topics as the Obama administration bumbles and stumbles along through economic disaster and diplomatic minefields. “Why can’t I find a job?” or “Why are taxes so high?” come to mind as topics. In these little one page tracts, I intend to explain very basic cause and effect. I intend to put the blame squarely on the Liberals, but in a pitying sort of way instead of hateful and angry. Explain to the average person that the liberals don’t necessarily want to cause these hardships. That they want to make things better, but they are trying the wrong things. Then explain what the right things are and who is working to try these “right” things. I figure that explaining that the Socialists are intentionally setting out to destroy America so that they have a permanent poor class to bribe for votes can come later.

I realize that handbills are not much more effective than email marketing, but it is something within my budget, and the papers I hand out “live” (instead of posting on grocery store notice boards etc.) will give me the chance to interact and make the message more interesting. By God, simple printed handbills were a vital weapon in our fight for independence from England, they might just help out in our current fight.

Does anyone have any advice/critiques that might refine my plan? I figure we need to share and network ideas to start our own campaign of education.

Unfortunately, the RINOs have NOT gone away. They are out there now proclaiming that the reason we lost is that McCain was TOO conservative and might have done better if he picked a more moderate VP.

Of course that is total garbage as everyone who followed the campaign on our side knows.

We may never win over the idiot Independentes and muddled moderates who stick their finger in the wind and follow whatever “news” media generated buzz there is to support the Democrats.

But we can win by motivating OUR side and having them do more than show up and vote.

The girl has it all going on (as they say) and that infuriates the unhappy, whining me me me lefties to no end. Ticks off some conservatives to which I say BLAH! on you. She’s everything a woman can be if she chooses and look out, she’s coming for the Left!!
